      Yes mate, building a brand is one of the quickest ways to scale your KDP business as you can drastically increase customer lifetime value! I’ve got a few videos in my KDP Mastery course covering it in detail and I uploaded one of those to my channel: ruclips.net/video/2NuOFWz0CY4/видео.html&ab_channel=SamBarnes

    Hi Sam. Your video is so well structured and filled with valid and valuable information. I do have one problem: what do you do if you've already published your book(s) a few months ago and you obviously missed the 30 days window to advertise?
    And what do you call aggressive advertising? I saw another video of yours where you say it's best to keep the ads investment around what your profit from that book is, in this case, if you're making $5 per sale, aggressive would mean putting it all in on ads, or putting way more than that on ads?
    Thank you in advance Sam.

    • @samazonkdp
      @samazonkdp  3 месяца назад +1

      If you're already past the 30 days it's still more than okay to advertise! Aggressive advertising also depends on your budget but I would say £200 a month for one book would be aggressive for the 'average' publisher! What's your monthly budget?

    • @ingerash80
      @ingerash80 3 месяца назад

      @@samazonkdpThank you Sam. I haven't started advertising. I want to set up today or tomorrow. But I won't get to £200 right now. I was thinking somewhere around $50 per month for a book where my profit is around $1, and once it gains momentum and startes to bring in revenue to use that to invest it back into ads.

    Hey Sam , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

    900 books that's a lot of publishing do you outsource your publishing ?

    • @samazonkdp

      The vast majority of those are notebooks from back in the day but I’d say 50 are medium content and those are the ones that bring in most of my sales

    I want to start Amazon Kdp do you think will work in 2024? How much time it will take to get nice profit? How much money should I invest as a beginner and how many books i should publish first time?

    • @samazonkdp
      @samazonkdp  3 месяца назад

      Of course it can still work in 2024! I would say you have to give it a full year before you can really start to see good results

    9:01 If you've produced over 900 books and over 95% were low content, but the 5% of medium content books drive 95% of your sales - then why produce the low content books?
    Is there some purpose to making the low content books, or, did you make all those low content books before you discovered that medium content books were much more effective?
    Do you still make low content books, or have you moved more exclusively to medium content books?
    Thanks a lot for the great videos!

    • @samazonkdp
      @samazonkdp  12 дней назад +1

      The low content ones were when I started in 2019 before KDP was well known so you could sell some pretty poor books! Now it’s more competitive I literally don’t sell any low content and it’s only medium content which is now the only book type I make

      @@samazonkdp Hi, I started your free course. Thanks for putting the course for free!
      Do you happen to know which lecture specifically talks about how long it takes to make a book, and how many books you should aim for per month?
      Also, how do you estimate how much a product is spending per month on Amazon ads? Can you suggest a software or tool for that?
      Thank you :)

    I was prepared to rip into this video, as I thought it was yet another flood the market with AI trash videos. I'm glad to be proven incorrect. AI is fine for helping you to write faster, but it will not make books that sell on its own. Any author will tell you that editing is what makes a novel, and that takes a lot more time and effort than writing it in the first place. Most authors will do anywhere between 4-12+ edits on a novel before releasing it depending on their skill. It's like sculpting. The first draft is only going to give you a shape that roughly resembles a humanoid. It's the editorial process that refines that rough shape into something beautiful. All AI trash novels do is flood an already flooded market, and make readers angry at all of the poor options available. Not to mention the high likelihood of violating copyright laws since AI is well known for reproducing copyrighted material. That's 5yrs in prison and $250,000 per incident. You'd do better robbing banks if you want to use AI to generate your novels. At least then you wouldn't leave your name, address, bank account at the scene of the crime.
