Why are people saying how this will fill it with water and ruin the engine, thae are seadoo trixx they are designed to be flipped alot and not have an issue with it
You have roughly 10-15 minutes before it starts taking on water real bad. Longer than that and it’s going to be tough getting out of the water. Less than that shouldn’t be to big of a worry.
@@loganyoung7703people aren’t just gonna leave JetSki flipped for 10-15 minutes 😂 they’re obviously gonna flip it back over straight away and then wait a couple minutes for all the oil and fuel to get back to level and then it’s good to go
You’re right 🫡 Trixx handles all kind of difficulties quite well except rocks in intake grate. Fripping is no issue. Sometimes it gives little puff of blue smoke and you’re good to go again.
@@papsid_onudyep, I’ve flipped my spark honestly over 100 times, never had an issue, like you said sometimes some oil will seep into the cylinder and puff a blue cloud. Hey, the way I look at it isn’t gives the cylinders a little lubrication haha
This little thing naturally allows only slow speed wheelies. There is always possibility to tilt all weight to back and make it high-speed as well but then it will normally end only one way 🤪🌊

I'm just now looking at the jet blaster and thinking man.I know the spark is good but yamaha is known for better quality so I kind of wanna see what the jet blaster which is supposed to be the equivalent to these spark tricxx, And see maybe which 1 to get because Those 2 skis are the only new smaller fun skis.
Nice. I have ‘16 Spark and ‘17 Trixx. Trixx has had a problem with driveshaft but that’s almost it. Some wear ring changes also due to rocks but nothing serious. I’d say quite reliable skis 💪
@papsid_onud I just got in today and I have a 95 Yamaha. Wave venture with a 701 , 2 stroke single carb. And I just bought the motor brand new from sbT in Tampa, Florida and went out for 2 hours today in the intercoastal and the Atlantic. And now I have a small leak around my pump housing seal where it meets up to the hull. No big deal. It's a 30-year-old ski, so it's common. But I put a brand new pump, a brand new engine and a brand new carburetor , oh, and a brand new throttle and steering cable. She only does about 40.But I love being on the water here in florida so it's therapy for me👍
The Hx is a little more extreme than the spark. Getting on it after Falling off . There is a learning curve. You have to have it pull you up. Than monet it. To narrow to climb on the back of it. Best ski ever.
that's why there's an engine kill cord , i'm sure it's not healthy , but hey it's a jetski engine they're made to be bounced the hell around on the waves
Short answer is that it can. There are many skis out there and not all of them are too fragile. Main issue is water in exhaust which is meant to cool and quiet the exhaust gases and may flow into engine causing damage.
Most of them are designed to handle. Cranking the engine after this occasion should be intermittent, not continious. If starting motor can’t rotate full cycle it is probably hydro-locked but rods are still straight🙃
I’ve flipped my spark probably over 200 time and thing thing still runs like a top. I think it’s around 100 hours too. Only thing is I think the wear ring is just scratched out a little. 70 buck repair for 100 hours of beating is fine by me haha
Depends. If it is turned off immediately then no. It has automatic bilge pump and dry sump oil system. Sometimes it smokes a little bit after turning it right but it’s due oil in scavenge line, not something dangerous. But different skis act own way - it has to be checked out beforehand.
If it turns off then no. It’s important which way you turn jetski back up - wrong direction will let water from exhaust to engine and damages it. Just it case it’s clever to crank engine in small bursts after that not to brake the rods.
@@maxb2299 Spark has arrow sticker on the back of the hull. Yamaha FX for example don’t have it. I guess there is still some possibility to trash the Spark by turning it the wrong way even on stock exhaust?

Oil change at 25 is good tip. I usually change after around 50 which makes it a season (in Estonia where is rather pretty bad driving weather).

Most of them are designed to handle. Cranking the engine after this occasion should be intermittent, not continious. If starting motor can’t rotate full cycle it is probably hydro-locked but rods are still straight🙃
It depends if it takes on to much water then it can get over the carbs and then it’s a problem
This is a EFI 4-stroker and has air intake designed to eliminate water getting in. But yeah, if it floods it still gets damaged.
