When you wish the actress who plays bev sees the admiration comments for her brilliant acting.
Lol at that union prat rabbiting on to the Freak about injustice. She's the very epitome of that word.
As much as I like Myra as top dog, I can't help but feel that she let Bobbie down big time here. She knew how lethal Bev was and just had a nasty encounter in the night against her herself. She could have dealt with her a lot more severely than she actually did in the laundry. Once Bev had promised Bobbie a consolation prize, Myra shouldn't have taken her eyes off of her because it was so damn obvious what would happen.
8ballpoolking1 she was probably watching her I mean she can’t exactly hold her hand in the loo
8ballpoolking1 BOBBY IS A FRIGGIN LITTLE ASSHOLE YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THAT THE WAY SHE TREATED HER MOTHER.
SHE NEEDS A FOOT UP HER ASS.
I actually agree.
Heather being like a child.
The man needs his own view .
Bev would make an ideal top dog of Blackmore
Are you insane there would be no prisoners left
@@adrianenglish4909 there you have it, she'd be the Capital punisher.
I really hope Norm remembered to put the roast on for Officer Barry. 🤣 🤣
Could just tell she'd rather be somewhere else
Ok, forget Isolation. Send Bev to Blackmore !!!!
Alan Mclay I'D LIKE TO SEE BEV FROM THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS GO UP AGAINST BEA.
Her and cass should swap
I have to say that in this episode, every scene that Bev is in she has stolen the spotlight from the other characters. You can not help but to feel Myra's fear and dread when she is cooped up in the same cell as Bev for the lockdown and that blade is inches away from her jugular!!! I was petrified for her....that is how convincing an actress Maggie Dence really is!!!
@@spectrumlocalb191 I think Bea would have no hesitation in murdering Bev. Myra is to cautious.
Yes Bev belongs at Blackmoor
Dear God, poor Myra, stuck in there with a psycho and I know from experience crazies don't sleep, they can go for days without sleep.
That social worker lady in the spotty dress - someone should give her a lesson on how to start conversation with people...subtle as a brick through a window
Myras letting Bev shit on her, Bea wouldn't let that happen
as much as I love Myra, yes, I think Bea would have "sorted" Bev by now one way or another. People like Bev really don't care if they die though and they like pain so they are quite a challenge as to how to break them or even eliminate them. Bea would probably have to Nola McKenzie her. Bev's final exit though is pretty chilling, and fitting.
She can't just deal with her like that as they are in the same cell anything that happens it's obvious she's guilty and would potentially get more time when she's already just got more for escaping/ be transfered leaving the rest behind to be at Bevs mercy. Bea might have had less patience but that's a bad thing. It's what Bev wants. It's got to be well thought out how to deal with her unless she just kills her outright and risk being charged and spending the rest of her life at Blackmore
Sorry, but I'd never have sympathy for Ferguson! Rackets, bashings, escapes, bullying, victimisation, emotional abuse...Despite the fact her girlfriend was murdered, it was innaproprate to have a relationship with a prisoner in the first place. She's an evil woman and deserves no sympathy!!! Maggie Kirkpatrick is a fine actress, far too convincing :D
I feel bad for Shane since Joan not working to get him away from his abusive father.
It’s not about sympathy for Ferguson. It’s about any prisoner being capable of accusing a prison officer.
You forgot sexual abuse. 🙄
@@Tamunett that was just what I was gonna say..that would be the ONLY reason I'd want Joan to have her job.. what they should have done was give her the job back but make sure she's paired with someone at all times
In real life Joan would have been brought into the office, given a verbal warning, likely paired up with someone, more warnings until she modified her behavior. If nothing changed, she would be let go. Discipline of an employee, would be in the employee and employer contract between the 2. Also, I think prison guards would have been paired up. If they were by themselves, they would be equipped with wakie talkies, batons and peper spray, some kind of self defense course. They wouldn't likely carry guns, in fear of them being taken away. There would be no way, a prison guard, would escort a potentially violent prisoner on their own. For example Bea Smith. Colleen did mention that to Joan and Colleen as management, should have had Joan reprimanded. That likely would have been a verbal warning. Being in a union, you do have rules to follow, pending on what's in the contract. You are not allowed to run around and do what you want.
“We want out”
“We want out”
“We want out”
SHUUUTTT UUUUUPPPPPPPPP😂😂😂😂😂
The protest outside lol
Bobbie has great taste in music, love her Spandau Ballet poster. The early 80s really were a classic era for music. Ironically too, Spandau is a famous prison in Germany lol.
Kblogg 777 Spandau Ballet were crap!! Give me The Chameleons or Modern English or New Order or Soft Cell anyday!!
Lorraine Hall But none of them had a song quite like "TRUE!".
YOU LISTEN to 'The Healer' by The Chameleons.. Find it easily here on RUclips.. And then decide if maybe actually there is a band better than posey naff Spandau Ballet.. Who hardly had any hits.. And i always hated that True song anyway.. No I MEAN IT.. LISTEN NOW to The Healer by The Chameleons!! Now now now!! Hahaha
Lorraine Hall Perfume Garden for me
Lorraine Hall Spandau ballet were great before "True"
Coleen wouldn't have put up with that shit from the union
Anyone else's toes curl up at the end?
The way Bev stared at that social worker was creepy af. Like she was studying a specimen. Ugh.
The full manicure was a horrific prize. I could barely watch. I'm glad evil Bev isn't going to be around for much longer. Myra should've sorted her out.
Dennis mentioning he's from England again
I love th4e music they play when Joan was in her house. When she was thinking about Shane.
Officer Barry is as good an officer as an ashtray on a motorbike xxx
Lol 😂😂 Aww I love her character
love prisoner been watchin right from the begining
I love prisoner. I can keep watching that
Oh no not Phil Cleary!
I feel your pain.
Joan really showed her kinder side during the storyline with Shane. It also showed how empty her life was outside of Wentworth, the politicking, intrigue, petty games, nastiness with the women was all she had.
She had abundance mentality, something of which very few women have. Us mere mortals can only live in awe of a woman like that. She thrived on her own dominance which is anything but empty in my book. An inspiring influence of guts, compassion and leadership.
Gee the women have great bladders on this show, cooped up for so long in cells with no loo's awesomeness! :D
They are constipated. Didn't you hear Dot's comment?
PsychicStudioThe There's always the sinks.
Lol 😆
+Carlene Boulden I don't remember which episode, but one of the cells did have a loo/toilet.
***** the only time I saw one was in solitary :D
11:12 Joan's voice reaches a higher octave when she talks to "Faither"!
It's beautiful isn't it lol
At 41:12 I would of liked to have heard that social workers idea lol, just for a laugh.
35:30 blimey, Dennis, a Yorkshireman coming out with that opinion in the early 80s, with the miners' strike in full flow, would have been taking his life in his hands. No wonder you had to flee to the other side of the world.
3:10 Bea is back eating lol
Jaz Manator Over by the wall.
I always thought that extra looked like Bea lol
That is Jacko
@@89chrisj I have wondered if they did that on purpose - she almost looks like her doppelganger when she walks by, or they do a quick shot, etc, - and i have to wonder if they did that to give the fans a feel of Bea there for those who missed her.
I think you may be right because, it's funny, I've started watching the show from the beginning and that same extra (at least I think it's her) was in earlier episodes, only with dark hair. Now why would she have red hair after Bea is gone?
One of the social workers at around 18 minutes looks like the original Tracey Morris actress, Sue Devine. Anyone agree?
oh no... phil's back... had forgotten about him... and was enjoying forgetting... sometimes i feel like skipping a heap episodes but then tis just not worth it...ppl miss so much then theyre asking 50 questions in the comments
Judy was wearing one of her lumberjack shirts here not prison uniform lol maybe she can't fit into them anymore!
I was thinking exact same! She loves those shirts. I wonder if she wore them off set too.
WTF. Who the hell does that "Union" halfwit think he is? He's not the one who has to work with that lunatic. My god, she's hardly been out the door 5 minutes and we don't get time to enjoy it and he's there shouting about injustice. The only "injustice" would be taking her back. The writing on this show really is insane at times
I can't imagine someone like Lou Kelly, there wasn't a period of time where she wasn't in prison or some sort of institution. It's got to be exhausting being that angry all the time. She must be constantly knackered.
29:50 - "Sorry Ted, I was looing at the ticket upside-down."
Lurches joke about marlanes head was a crack up. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bev reminds me in a way of Joan Ferguson from Wentworth
Yes she does!!!!!!
WHY did they give that social worker an American accent, why? The producers would have known at this point that the actors playing these temporary characters are invariably awful, and that asking them to do a foreign accent on top of their already bad acting is just asking for a disaster.
Has Betty Bobbitt gained even more weight in these episodes? She looks bigger than ever
They all seem to get a little chunkier around this time. Dennis especially balloons in weight. No judgements though.
Love the political undercurrent of this show - it's not very subtle, but at least it's there. This was probably made when the miners strike of 1984 - 1985 was raging
Aye i mind of the miner's strike i knew my pal's dad broke it only because he had a big family to provide for, He got his windows smashed and graffiti
Tf? Cruickshank doesnt have anything to apologize for. People have disagreements and differing opinions. Smh. His lass needs to learn a bit of temperance.
I thought that too.
omg these officers would never be able to handle working in a nursing home.
@Heather ElliottThey're* You dumb fuck.
@@flumpaustin1994 Heathers correct, their is usually used to refer to a person, there to a place and the relative newcomer of they're is a group of ppl in the distance. But I think its something to do with different countries
Bev is cool. My new fave character :P
They put poor cass into the hospital for the criminaly insane and put that fruit cake in crazy
Now there's a real sicko, psychopath at Wentworth !
What on Earth does Dennis see in Heather?
I really think that Heather Rodgers looks exactly like a young Pat O'Connell!
@Mrrichard Michael Doran hahaha what?? She's not even fat! 😂
@@agemoth She's not meaning Fat Pat but Pat in earlier episodes the one that always banged on about her children and having to be out for Christmas
Pat O'connell came to wentworth from Barnhurst with Chrissie Latham
Who protects chrissie whilst she is pregnant. She was inside for aiding and abetting her husband for armed robbery. She does remind me also of Officer Rodgers good call 👍
God, I hope this one doesn’t go on about and is obsessed with Christmas every five minutes
Lol even joans father knows what like joans like at prison lol
Bobby's hair's ridiculous
I think its ace. I love the troll look
Dot - Ive got a bad shoulder and im constipated 😂😂😂😂
how many episodes has miss Reynolds been wearing the same shirt?
No real difference to wearing a uniform
Wow Bev. Was a nurse. I wonder how many warnings Bev was given before she lost her job.
I was trying to be quiet 😂😅 as he drops half the cutlery into the sink wud hate to hear him actually make noise 😂
And there he is again! The actor who played Bea Smith's loser Husband and about 15 other characters in the show is one of the Protestors picketing at the Wentworth gates. lol.
10:00 "At least we used to get a fair say whether we came out or not.." Haha.. from that line, we can safely assume that very little research was done on UK union industrial actions of the 1980's, and particularly the 1970's.
16:16 judy missed a spoon
Why isn't the "Department" sending some guards from the other prisons to help.
Supposed to have. Ann said that when she was talking to Judy.
Let the midnight special😂😂😂
When I first watched this years ago I had a massive crush on phill cleary lol
At the meal somewhere after 23:00 I think Lorna is either disturbed by the camera or she completely forgot about the camera but I feel like you see her true personality.
Looks like she’s sick of listening to Dot’s whining and complaining.
Scary ending, which was cut from the channel 5 broadcast, another great Maggie, leaves and another one takes her place, Maggie Dence as the scary Bev Baker
Feel sorry for bobbie
Well done Myra stopping that creature from killing that lovely girl. Those female volunteers are all very nice😍 especially Rita💝
God, Bev's a bit of a fruit loop. I'm sure Maggie Dence went on to play Dorothy Burke in Neighbours!!!
Yes Maggie Dence did. She was the principal of the school, 'Erinsbourgh High' in the early 1990s
She was a Game show Hostess before her days on Prisoner and she released a music single in 1979.
joans caring side for shane, her father and dogs make her a character who you sympathise with.
I dont. I do understand what you mean as so much of her character has been negative but her behaviour unfortunatly . Repeated watches have proved what a great frustrating villain she is. Then again I could be a bastard
Well The Freak mightnt have bashed Keen but she set Reb Keen up to be bashed by helicopter.
That social worker in the laundry looked like the female officer who was obsessed with Jim fletcher.
wow forgot all about this amazing scene, she genuinely was going to kill that social worker lol
That whole scene was one of the most intense in the series!!! I genuinely thought she was going to kill her too! Especially so soon after Marlene had called her bluff!!
Mrs Ted Bundy with the injured fingers is a character I’d never expect to see on this show
It crap that loads of these won't work anymore 😡😤 there are 100s missing now such a shame I really enjoyed watching all of these when they were all on here 😭😥😭
? I’ve watched them all. Granted, I’ve had to go and see what was skipped, but I can find it. Feed off the prisoner list with Vera looking like she’s spying. Don’t veer off that list and they will go in order. If you lose an episode, always go back to that thumbnail with Vera and scroll. If you can’t remember where you left off, look for your last episode in RUclips’s history. I promise you, that are all here. Always feed off Vera’s thumbnail. Never your last watched episode, you will lose your place and they will play out of order.
Judy Bryant is really silly.
Oh god, Dreary Cleary!
I loved Lizzy & Ettie - 🙄 But that old character Dot 🙄. Imagine being locked up with her. She would drive you completely insane & Crazy 🤤 within 5 minutes lol 😂😂
Oh no. Gay, marble-mouth Phil is among us now....
SoapsNthings that guy is maybe the worst actor. Unless he's trying to be a dork. Then he's doing a great job
SoapsNthings He sounds gay wait till you see them knock him down and molest him, it's the best part of the series.
rolling ciggys for bobby......but she dont smoke !
She musta started ;)
It's one of those things where it is only referenced that a character smokes, but they are never seen smoking.
Plus Heather suspects the freak organised the helicopter for Marie Winters (helicopter lady)
Lol joan my comrades are out protesting for me lol
Did jude know something that anne already knew lol
Does that Union grub realise he could've caused a riot.
"Bugger me a Yank !"
bev needs to stay on the show longer!
They got rid of her earlier than anticipated because of viewer complaints. You are amongst the minority.
How do you like your men Meg? 31:07
I remember when I was like 14 and Channel 5 cut out the end bit I think I preferred it that way 😱🤢😱🤢
HOW PATHETIC IS THE DANCE WALTZ OMG I WANNA SCREAM
Oh no!!! I forgot I have to watch the lame brain Phil who falls in an overwhelming love with Meg for far too many episodes... here we go!
'prepared' as in told what to say.
Major and his newspaper.
Joan holds all cards
The male social worker is the worst actor to ever grace the Prisoner screen. Good grief.
Ugh. Phil Dreary makes his first appearance. He's painful to watch.
I wish Bev Baker would be let loose on those snooty do gooding social workers. They're dreadful people.
That's sick but really funny
Bev is so creepy ಠ︵ಠ
Terrible American & Yorkshire Accents. How the hell they ever got away with it I never know lol.
Did you hear ferguson say "Rubbish" to Cruickshank in a yorkshire accent. It was hilarious
I'd take Joan over Bev any day. She's horrible. Hope she gets her dues.
“You’re Farrah, aren’t you?”
“Dot to me friends, but you can call me Farrah”
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Ive NEVER like the Ferguson character
Rita the social worker 🔥🔥🔥
Officer heather looks beautiful in that blue outfit when her and Dennis are going to get more sponsors for the women.
:O omfg! ouch! poor bobby.
