I just love the fact that eminem took the chorus of dream on for this song. The guitar solo is played by the guitarist of Aerosmith too which makes this even better.

Yeah, you should definitely react to this song! It's one of the best classic hardrock ballads of all times! The studio version is great, but even better live 1994 Woodstock, it's the best version in my opinion.
This song is amazing. It’s one of the first Eminem songs that made me want to rap. I make my own music, but I’m currently terrible compared to Em. I have to keep practicing.

i agree about the chorus. there are rap songs that sample rock that don't work, or feel corny or forced but i think it's perfect here, and i'm not even huge on song, or the band. if i wanted to piss off an aerosmith fan i'd say this was their best moment lol

You can also win for production, choreographing , writing, directing, editing, mixing, and of course the music. There are many different ways to win a Tony without actually being in the performance.
Oh yeah GLAAD protested him being nominated at the 2001 grammy Awards I believe it was. Saying he was homophobic. Meanwhile he was inside performing Stan with Elton John and hugging him at the end

its a shame the censored version is still up, the interuption to cover the words really spoils the song as a whole for this, its so overly censored too which is ironic for a song talking about this stuff.

Yeah back in the day people were on this guys ass all the time, protesting his concerts, his album launches, blaming him for all the ill in the world in the news and even in congress lol. He was the boogeyman.
I suggest when it comes to eminem songs in the future search for the dirty versions which are uncensored. Problem with the songs especially his older ones is they hacked them apart to make them "safe" for radio and tv and you miss half of what he is talking about and some of his older songs are straight up changed for commercial release.
Reacting to the censored version of this song (or any Eminem song) is criminal

So Em allegedly pistol whipped Guerra back in the day when he saw him and Kim kissing. Em talks a bit about it in a few songs. He got sued and had to pay Guerra $100000 (I think). He got into a lot of trouble for that obv.

He was convicted or charged the bouncer thing he got probation then he named a bully in brain damage song and that guy sued and judge rapped to the bully he wasnt getting a penny then his wife or ex now and his mom sued him

So with Gurrera. Eminem caught Kim kissing him outside a club. Em lost it, pistol whipped him and knocked him out. Em was charged with carrying a weapon, assault and more. His mom also tried suing him in the early 2000s so he was in court for that as well.

If we're being honest, it's because at the time eminem broke into the white majority and parents did NOT like the idea of their suburban white kids listening to a genre they considered to be for lack of a better word abrasive and trashy.
It was all bullshit fueled by embarrassing racism, but it's the truth. He introduced people that would have been caught dead listening to rap and allowed them to ease into an entirely new genre and politicians especially did not like him speaking about the problems of the white american youth.
Listening to white america, he touches on this aspect briefly.
