the issue with this is that you need to start over again the level, thats a stupid decision of the devs, i dont care if its very hard, i dont want to play the whole level again
yeah at least on lamb difficulty let us respawn over and over again i can underhand if the higher difficulty's made you have to restart the level but come on give us unlimited continues on the easiest difficulty
This is the first rhythm based game i have ever played and let me tell you it's been a journey, went into this boss fight completely blind and got absolutely destroyed within minutes lol been awhile since I've raged this hard over a video game but damn it's worth it lol
I'm surprised that you haven't mentioned (or even using it yourself) the main thing you should be doing to stay alive and avoid damage.....Use your Dash man !!! When you're Dashing, you're temporarily invulnerable, so whenever the fireballs are coming at you, you need to be Dashing left, right, back and forward to help stay alive and keep your Combo Boons active to help you inflict more damage. Best thing to do throughout the whole game is Keep Moving around and Dashing all over BUT make sure it's meaningful movement.....Know where you're going and why.....You'll survive a lot longer and do more damage this way. Hope this Helps !? EDIT: Fixed Spelling
Wow that’s amazing advice. One of the things I end up forgetting to do in games is easy mechanics like that. I really don’t know why. I did the same thing in Resident Evil 3 with the dodge mechanic and Resident Evil 4 with the parry mechanic. I don’t know why I do that. But yes that is definitely helpful! I’ll put an edit in the description.
If you watch it how to beat her, it automatically becomes less hard. But still - this boss is the ultimate test of all the mechanics you were learned during the game. And the boss theme is epic one. Serj's vocals are the greatest.
Thanks for this, honestly I get it's the final boss, but this is a massive difficulty spike, the first segment is just ridiculous, it basically fills the screen with projectiles.
Just play it on Beast, you'll feel that each level has a progressive difficulty spike, in other words it's absolute dogshit, the fact that you can die and start it all over is a big no no for me, i've tried it and it doesn't work on higher difficulty. The last boss in particular just spams projectile attacks along with area attacks and before i even know it i die.
I was looking for tips on how to win this when I came across your video. I took your advice and used the Hounds as well as the Hellcrow. That did it for me! I beat it on Goat. So thank you
Yeah this is a tough one. I would say the best you can do is move left and right to try and avoid its fire. I died in the beginning to. And know where the crystals are to add to your health in the area. What difficulty are you playing on? You only need the Lamb difficulty for the achievement.
Don't get me wrong, but you're showing this in lamb difficulty if I'm not mistaken? I've been practising jumps and dashes for a while on this boss with an invulnerability cheat (without hitting the boss) and the moment I turn it off I still get melted in a second at the regular difficulty. The devs should imo just nerf this boss
@@theachievementplanner I hear you.. I just tried it this morning and failed misserably. I watched your vid which is very helpful, and will try again with a different loadout this noon (I didn't bring the hounds)
@@theachievementplanner Thanks, it sure did! I went for the hounds & the vulcan as weapons with ghost rounds & ultimate sovereign sigil. With a preloaded vulcan ultimate I could end phase 1 in what felt like seconds. The other phases turned out to be much more managable by comparison.
I rage quitted and uninstalled this cuz it's almost impossible to pass the first bullet hell without continues (beast difficulty). Soundtrack wise, awesome, gameplay wise, pretty meh.
Yeah this game can be ridiculously hard. That’s why I did all 100% on the easiest difficulty. And even that tested my patience. Hopefully you feel like giving it another shot eventually. But I totally get you.
@@theachievementplanner I'm also on the easiest difficulty and I die so fast Why can't I just keep respawning instead of playing the whole level again 😭

I agree. Even for a few other specific achievements, having to replay the whole level was the worst part.

Yep I agree. They really did well with this game. Also, I miss listening to System of a Down. It’s been a long time since I heard Serj.

You’re quite welcome! I’m glad it helped.
I was not expecting that kind of bullet hell. It is super intense
Exactly!
Thank you for the tutorial, eager to try it out
Good luck with it. I’m glad to help.
Thank you! The absolutely brutal start of this fight traumatized me, but you make it seem possible. :)

when i hear this music i can't concentrate on the comments
Sorry about that. Usually I turn the music down on my videos. I left it louder on this one since it was a music-based game.
you just got lucky
I definitely had luck in this whole game. A lot of sections are like that.
This explanation doesn't help very much when you play on normal or hard difficulty.
That is true. But to complete the game, normal and hard are not necessary. So since getting all of the achievements was my focus, I played on easy.
excuse me for my hash language but
this boss fight is bullsh#t
For sure. It was ridiculous and I was on the easiest difficulty.
