This is NOT a factory reset, just a PARTIAL WIFI reset. . .
Thank you, it was usefull to me. My printer HP 2170 DeskJet was in offline mode and I couldn't connect it to my wi-fi. After I did a factory reset exactly how it is described in this video my printer connected to wi-fi without any issues. Many thanks.

never said how to install the HPSmart app on your phone and how to hit the + button to reset new WI Fi and new Password.There are no videos that simple showing how.Its not in the instructions.
I have a Deskjet 2540. I was able to print wirelessly until I switched networks. I followed your directions and was able to get the blue wireless LED to blink, but I cannot get the printer to join the network. If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate them.

My printer only print color ink and stop printing black and white when the printer screen indicate that there's ink in the cartridge.
Ink is dry. Clean head (nozzle)

I set up my new deskjet printer and it is connected, wifi is on, the display only gives a black and white option. It will not let me print in color. It did print in color on the printer information page when I set it up. My other printers connected to my computer show the image in color to be printed. This printer only shows black and white. When I press the color button nothing happens.

How about EWS while logged via the printer IP address, for example if you have changed the PIN for the login anbd you try to login that will not work and additionally you won't be able to perform a reset to the default settings and to reset the password/PIN
That flap thingy on the back of my copier broke should I go just throw it away 😢
This seems to have gotten my printer back online, thanks. It still won't print. The job goes to queue, the paper feeds half way thru the carriage and stops. After around 4 minutes it feeds all the way thru without printing. Then th printer icon on my laptop shows printing completed. Display panel on my printer shows "paper error." No paper seems to be stuck in it. Eventually the paper comes out on its own (with nothing printed). Please help me!
Watch your ink level, if you are using a refill ink that could be the problem

i have problem with black ink. its full and tall empty it's print the hp information normal but didn't print any other orders or copies pls. help
If you do not use it for a long time, the ink will dry out. But the ink level will also show.
