I'm using the "related video" tool to redirect my audience to another short.
If they are in shorts keep them in shorts
After, if RUclips finds any of them likes long form videos on your topic, it's gonna recommend those videos.
Shorts are not a "bridge" to long form videos, they're a ecosystem by themselves (as it happens with Lives and memberships)
I actually applied short to long form new feature linkage even before I watched this video. And it actually worked. One of my shorts got viral and then i linked a long form video which had low views. It soon gained views coz of this linking.

I had a consulting call with a musician and i told him to take viral ideas and connect them to his music
Whatever hack you can think of wouldn't work the same way for everyone in any niche. Today I came across a video where the guy just filmed 1 hour drive on a road accompanied by the most boring tube and played it repeatedly for tge entire hour. And he's got tons of subscribers and comments of people who were in awe from that video. My videos in comparison with that guy are like Acatar-2 in comparison with your video. But I have just a very modest number of views... Nobody yet knows me, and that guy's channel has gained its name and reputation.

How do you do the nice looking cuts between two images side by side in thumbnails

Im seeing your videos, try changing your thumbnails to something more professional, do them on Adobe Photoshop

@@contentjuice You're always using the same thumbnail. Change your text fonts, and change the background. (to other colors and all, just use Photoshop)

This is great advice on paper, but how effective is Shorts really as a funnel...the guy you mentioned that you took to 100K subs, gets less than 10% of his audience tuning in to his most recent videos...I'm not sure there's a point in having subs if the audience aren't committed to you and your channel. I think what's more effective, from my experience, is to only post short-form on your TikTok and IG acc then funnel those viewers to your RUclips channel where you have long-form content

Hey awesome content and also learn a lot from the descriptions and how you linked it all together. Just one question, since you loop viewers from one of your videos to another, it quickly becomes obvious that the videos repeat half if not more of the content. Is it because there really are not that many secrets to share? To make the filming and editing quicker? Cause it just seems odd to make the viewers go watch all videos in sequence but repeat the same content. OR is it that all high view videos are meant to drive to the single nurture video? And another question (hoping for more secrets shared please!) I found your content through VIDiq. So curious if this is one of the strategies you used to get a lift-off (get interviewed on another popular channel) or did they approach and interview you only after you took off on your own? Thank you in advance for answering and a huge thanks for sharing it all. Interestingly, made me wonder if RUclips is the right platform for me after all or at least seriously question my motivations which is the best possible teaching outcome. Thank you.
I share the secrets I think are valuable. Most of the other stuff basic info always applies. I would say the biggest secret of all though is to just make more videos
You need a shorts channel, and a long form content channel. It doesnt convert well. You get paid well, but you gotta keep making bangers
I’ve played my hand in short form and enjoy long form much more. If you want the fastest growth then shorts is the move

I was thinking aside from 3 elements you mentioned about thumbnails: relations, body and health and money and wealth, may be for art videos or nature videos that are not info based but practice based, the tranquility feeling or wonder of nature, or wonder of a creation might be attracting. and may be the colors are better to be in "split complementary" .Again thanks for video it made me learn and think.

Just depends how you use them. If you make them for your target long form viewer they’re good

This is a new channel. We work with 7 other channels as an agency to help them grow. And those channels have gotten millions of views. Also my personal channel has had multiple videos hit over 100k

Your funnel approach sounds very interesting, but I do have a concern- if my shorts aren’t showing up in feeds, then I won’t be getting any views to potentially funnel to my long form content…I do realise that the lack of impressions is down to me and I’ll need to up my game.
Will you study my RUclips channel? LOL! At age 60, I get mostly positive comments on my videos. However, my total number of subscribers stopped increasing a couple of years ago. Recently, RUclips finally put an ad on one of my videos though.

7,400 is arbitrary. I’ve analyzed well over that number in the last 5 years but I thought it was a good number for the title

It's the watch time that matters. If you can make people stay on the app and watch your videos for longer, RUclips is more likely to promote your video. The higher your average watch time, the greater your chances of success. Not sure how you analyzed 7400 channels and did not know this point.
