  • Shooting guns is a staple for every action film. In this video we'll use the F12 Action pack for Blender to generate muzzle flash and ejecting shells, which we then composite in Natron. Get the pack here www.blendswap.com/blends/view...

How do you make this work in Blender 3.0.1? I can render a very dark image with no colour. The tutorial is amazing.

Can your intro logo be made purely on Natron ?! I see this would be a real 3D composition and in natron you only have card3d, but I understood the text would show up only like a thin paper sheet, am I wrong ?
Can you please show us how would you do it in Natron ? (or maybe you really did it in natron ??!)
    Thanks!

I actually used Blender for the Logo. Blender and Natron work really well together

Like what I see so far on your Chanel, I have begun creating animated horror films using ICLONE , and I am looking for an alternative to After Effects which I have used. I am new to the Node based systems but I am attracted to NATRON for it's possibilities. I am frustrated however because the documentation is Crap to make a fine point of it . In fact , I don't think I have ever seen such horrible user guide as the one I found on GitHub. Half of the pages are empty with no content on them , and it reads as if it were written by a fourth grader. erratic, no logical flow for a beginner to learn by . Is there ANY PDF documentation or even a (comprehensive) training video anywhere you know of that can help a beginner to Natron learn the Ins and Outs? Because I don't seem to see anything online that is comprehensive A-Z for the beginner. Thanks for any help you can give .

Yes, the documentation is a total mess. The devs haven't had time to work on it, so it was opened to the community, but so far hardly anyone has contributed. As for a good beginner intro, I have some videos from like two years ago that was part of a total beginner course (this muzzle flash one included). One in particular is called "Intro to Nodes" and explains how Natron works to a new convert. My "Nodes vs Layers" might also be useful. You could also look into tutorials for Nuke, that's what I originally learned, and it transfered over to Natron pretty well. That's great about your film, looking forward to it!

Theres a version of it on iclonemovies from headrushindi if you care to give it a fly by..its as done as I am willing to finish it considering it is more or less a test run , but came out rather well considering my leass than adequate GPU at the moment .Next one will be the thang. Love to hear your review of it if you find the time .. it is called THE MYSTICS CLUB thanks
