    How cool that you edited this video!
    We have a VRS all dacron, very beautiful here in the extreme south of Brazil, and I was having difficulty folding and furling the sail properly!
    I've already watched the video twice, I think I'll do better in the next montages!
    Thank you for sharing this information!
    And please create more content like this, as the factory doesn't have them available yet!
    Hugs from your friend here in the south of Brazil!

    • @MikeBomstad
      @MikeBomstad  Месяц назад +1

      Its less actual steps then a flex wing if you count the individual ribs that must be done on a flex. You can make a check list card (as some flex pilots have) to help you along. A few times of doing it and its quite easy.

    It's so much easier to do that on a windy British hilltop, with the sail flapping around all over the place.

    • @MikeBomstad
      @MikeBomstad  Месяц назад

      My previous VQ I made limiter ropes connected to the sail ring and sail attachment handle that had a loop on the end. On windy days, connect them to the keel were the ring and handle attach. They were just long enough to allow the wing to be put together, and keep it from flapping.

    • @NevilleStyke

    • @MikeBomstad
      @MikeBomstad  13 дней назад

      Nice. This isn't like the old days though. Training and equipment have come a long way. Dying really isn't a part of it. Bottomless pocket, not required. Everything is more expensive these days. The added safety and performance of this glider, is worth the additional cost over the top performance flex wing.
