Xianxia is the brainrot story telling i crave and need even though plots can be so repetitive especially in Manhua/Manhwa and novels since character will throw away there humanity for immortality and everyone is different levels of evil but everyone also looks overly sexy and perfect so i been craving a MMO in this fantasy cause in this world the Good guys often do horrible things to the even more horrible bad guys. Then you got Wuxia that has better story telling that all about power and maybe they live 150-200 years but immortality doesn't exist just martial artist have a lot internal energy so they live longer but the storytelling is more about humanity and drama and combat and the human condition. What the trailer shows is very Xianxia so i assume the story going be completely bonkers as everyone is different levels of insane good guys vs insane bad guys as people fly on swords swear brotherhood and slay each other in never ending revenge cycle. I pray that its fun enough with a lot cosmetics so ill be excited to play.
I am excited, but dunno how long, if it even ever will, Release in west/global. After Solo (which I personally miss)... Looks like western audiences just don't vibe with the aesthetic.
I used to play Jade Dynasty since it's launch in the west and played it until it closed. There are still a few private server that I've played. And this my childhood mmo. It's were I've met my wife, we cannot wait for this new chapter of Jade Dynasty. I used to play a Felkin Rayan( for those who knows) and I love it so much. Hope they will get that class back in this new one
Solo didn't last bc developers here was too cheap. They didn't do promotion to the game or hired better english voice actors or have multiple servers. The game itself was fun. Alot of dungeons raids boss mechanics u had to learn or team wipe. Every class had to master their respective role dps heal tank etc.
Goodness, being someone who heavily played OG jade dynasty for wayy too long, seeing all this brings up such nostalgia for me. And the fact that I can name each class since they look so similar to their OG counter parts makes me very excited and really hoping that this comes global soon.
