@@ExodusCollective For a number of years I was a teacher in Jamaica at the Primary level, teaching Grade's one and two respectively. As another islander (tiny population), I never get why people migrate to the islands. I guess having the 'option' to revert & access better resources/opportunities If the Caribbean doesn't work helps.
Why would you move there?? Well for starter a better quality of life. And if you are black and raising children, it will help their self esteem. Nobody will be telling them that they are less than. I am from the Caribbean and I have lived in the US for 37 years. I have also travelled the the UK and Europe extensively. Neither the UK or Europe is or will ever be a place of safety or a place of growth and development for people with black skin. Bigotry, skyrise buildings, junk foods, people who find it difficult to smile, and eight lanes highways are not elements of good living. My dear amazon and Mc Donald may not be at your door, but niether hatefulness, shallowness or obesity will.
Also, would it kill her/her kids to wait 2, 3, 4, 5 days for an Amazon purchase to arrive? I regularly order stuff and it can take as little as 2 days to receive it.
Straight Talk!! Babylon will never accept Blackness. They will always see Blacks as less than. Blacks belong in the Caribbean and Africa; Not the West.
I would love to go to this island and just relax forever however like any place in the world if you got the money it makes a hell of a difference. I suppose I will just keep on dreaming lol
I hear you Mark. Living in the Caribbean doesn't have to be as expensive as some may imagine. It just depends on what sort of lifestyle you want to lead.
Hi there quick one, my wife is a citizen by investment through her Father , Do you know if there is away our son can be added as a dependant to get the citizenship as well?
am contemplating moving from Atl to St. Kitts and I have health issues, fixed income and rely on medication. Which part would you suggest? Would I have to worry about healthcare out there?
Congratulations on wanting to move! I'd suggest starting with taking a look at the cost of living in a St Kitts and Nevis to see if it's affordable for you. There are a number of sites like Numbeo that should give you an insight into this. Also check out St Kitts real estate agents' website to see where you could afford to live. Lastly, There are no private hospitals in St. Kitts, or on the island of Nevis; but expats can access the country's public healthcare facilities, and will have to pay a fee to do so - even at the public hospitals. You could also Google the details of a couple of pharmacies on the island, give them a call and find out if they stock the medicines you need and how much it costs. Hope that helps.

I'm desperately to move to the Caribbean but not sure how to go about it. I'm done with London, it's not for me, weather, people etc. My seasonal depression is so bad. I want a more relaxed type of living and better education and better chance of my son mixing with others not like in London most cultures stick to their own and just rude. I'm looking on civil.service jobs abroad but wondered how it works and if they would pay for accommodation I know the food shop will be more expensive but I'm just so done with the UK
I feel you on the urge to relocate - wet, grey "summers" certainly don't help! Do you know which island you'd want to settle in? The rate of pay for civil service jobs in the Caribbean is far lower than what you'd be accustomed to in the UK. Have you explored whether your skills could be transferred to a role that you could do remotely? Given the high rate of unemployment in many of the islands that might be your best route forward. Feel free to DM me on IG if you need more pointers - @theexoduscollective
@@ExodusCollective I will checknot out. I'm a probation officer in the UK, not sure what I could do there as many islands seem to need people with financial backgrounds(the roles I've seen), I saw a vacancy in Tortola in the foreign office

The people would rather cheat us out of every single little dollar they could than help us!! We shipped our personal vehicle to st.kitts...(a vehicle we owned in the united states for over twelve years) and was charged over 9 thousand us dollars just to clear the vehicle from the st.kitts shipping port...the people are not friendly or helpful! And they feel as tho every foreigner is here to take their land and jobs...do not believe all this hype!!! You will regret it!! Even from a business stand point...unless your planning on opening a franchise or a grocery store..don't even waste your time... most businesses fail within a year because the locals live on the average of 110 us dollars a week🤷🏿♂️...it will not weigh out
Sorry to hear that's been your experience! Would you be open to sharing your story so others can avoid the pitfalls you've experienced? If so, please do DM me on Instagram @theexoduscollective. Thanks!
This post is so misleading.. Please get your facts straight before posting false information.. it sounds like you may not have done your research before making such a,life changing decision. 110 US dollars per week is minimum wage. So many nationals have surpassed that standard of living. With this negative attitude and view, it seems that you are the one cheating yourself of a good experience. And perhaps, the locals have realised that you have looked down on them and their country so have decided to "feed you with a long spoon." That's a local saying ...if you dont know what it means you can ask someone. I am positive a Kittitian would be glad to help you.

I couldn't agree with you more ❤️
Yes!
When you're by yourself you could with stand alot. But when you have kids..it's a whole different ball game. There safety and well be comes first...
St kitts people have beautiful shiny dark black skin more than any other island I’ve seen 🙌🏾🇩🇲🇯🇲

Can I get a job in your country
Paradise.. SKN.....❤💛💚
Lovely ... I am from st kitts did a couple videos on my channel “vlogging with gissy”
Thanks Giselle. Would love to know your top tip for folks moving to St Kitts & Nevis!
Don't you find St Kitts too small?...cheers
Please help, what city or location is ideal to live with a family of 5...considering school- university, market/mall and jobs ???
There is no city just small town and few village,it is the smallest country in the Caribbean,I suggest watch few more RUclips videos

Hi, I have a 7-year-old boy and I've been looking for a British, Canadian or American school mentioned in the video, and I can't find any information. Can someone provide me with websites or any information? Thank you.

Don't be jealous, starting researching and planning. There'll be a way 🙂
Welcome to St. Ktts
How are you sister is it easy to get job in St Kitts and Nevis am from Nigeria
Is it easy to live with 2kids
Jobs with CARICOM might be worth exploring...
@@ExodusCollective I will checknot out. I'm a probation officer in the UK, not sure what I could do there as many islands seem to need people with financial backgrounds(the roles I've seen), I saw a vacancy in Tortola in the foreign office
How many churches there?
Would love to connect with you. I recently moved from London to at Lucia 🇱🇨🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Amazing!!! I've been looking for someone from St Lucia to interview for months? Any chance you can drop me a DM on IG at @theexoduscollective? Thank you 🙏🏾
Hey am in Nevis
How do I get their from Africa.
@@sadockrotich3710 Good question... This depends on where you are living in Africa. If your in Ghana, you can travel from Ghana to Antigua. Then make the connections from Antigua to St.kitts..I travel to Gambia regularly. I go back to England then to Gambia...Its terrible that this day and age, there is no direct flights from Africa to the Caribbean...etc..

Good question! Are you looking for a school for your kids?

@@kngran got it. Drop me a line - zoe@theexodus.co and I'll connect you 🙂
@@kngran Personally, I think it would depend on what you are looking for and your budget. Private schools vary in cost, but public schools are free of cost. The environment may be important too.

Hi I'm from the philippines, I have a job offer as nurse in this country, I'm still thinking if I will accept the offer, anyone could give the background about the healthcare of st kitt? Environment, status of foriegn worker? Thanks you
Hi sir. 🖐🏻 Filipino nurse here. I also have a job offer bound to St Kitts, I'm searching of great videos focusing mainly of their culture. I still don't have final decision if I will grab this once in a lifetime opportunity.

There's info on work permit here but what sort of info on the status of foreign workers are you looking for? www.mons.gov.kn/work-permit/
@@TheTopTen1989 you will enjoy every moment of your time working in the Caribbean. The way of nursing will remind you of the British system. I would say go for it and later it could be a stepping stone for you if you desire to move on to the USA

Can you help me?
Who can introduced me any clip to show real life in saint kitte ans nevis vdo clip pls
The thing is that people probably would love to go there but, so many people just don't want to risk their health with untested jabs just to move or go. It doesn't matter about freedom, health comes first.
Elephant in the room...... tax benefits especially if your business can operate from anywhere 😉 dont worry it doesnt make you a bad person, thinking about it myself
The bigger island has a larger population not the other way round.

Blessed Good Evening, I Have Visited Your Beauitful Country Twice Through A Cruise AND(&) I Would Like To Get Hold Of You (Davinia Tomlinson)Or(/)SomeOne From Beauitful St Kitts And Nevis
I live here on st.kitts and this video is soooooo misleading !!! Me and my wife relocated to st.kitts from the United States.. biggest mistake of our lives!!!!..immediately after we arrived we were being over charged for everything!!!
I still wana give it try , biggest Risk in life is not to take any Risk
My home land
Are you British ?born caribbean

Why would a black person want to move to Dubai?? That's the real question. Discrimination is the same there as it is in any western country.

Trans Atlantic SLAVE trade times Sis. Don't leave that part out. It's disrespectful.
I think of my ancestors as people of brilliance who happened to be enslaved. Personally, I won't let other people's depravity define who they were as human beings but each to their own 😊.
All our ancestors who survived this kidnapping are strong beautiful and deserve much respect even though alot of their descendants don't give it keep sharing with us. Much love from 🇺🇸. I'm planning a visit soon.
