Kvitka Cisyk was Ukrainian, she loved Ukraine with all her heart and spent most of her money she earned for making recordings of Ukrainian songs and these vere so good that KGB was considering her as a threat and destroying all the disks which they could find.
The very name of Kvitka Tsisyk means "Flower"! That is, she, Kvitka, blossomed like a flower and enchanted the listeners with her incredibly beautiful voice! In this voice, in her songs, love for Ukraine is incredibly combined, the ability to open and share this love with those who can hear the trembling of her soul... Love Ukraine, cherish and enjoy the Ukrainian song))) With Love from Ukraine, we are Ukrainians. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine !!!
Amazing one of the best jingles of our era. They should bring it back. "Outdated" sounding or not it would be interesting to see someone put up a pure 80s style ad from another time. No morden HD shot in 480i with just a cheesy jingle.
Ford won my dad over in the 1980's...he went from strictly GMs to two Fords in the late 80's, then never bought an American car again 🤣. I'm an import guy myself, but would still rock one of these older American cars in second just for the nostalgia. And my second car was a '91 Escort, which I still have a soft spot for.
I remember this line of Ford advertising from the 80s and 90s but I never knew who the singer was until now. According to Cisyk's obituary, she worked for just about every major company in the 70s and 80s doing commercials. It is sad to see that her very prolific career was cut short by her battle with breast cancer. Thanks for sharing the very cool 80s Ford video and for introducing me to Ms. Cisyk.
That is fantastic. Now you have to do “there is a special feeling in and Oldsmobile!! More than the luxury ride there is a feeling of pride that you feel insiiiide.”
Thank you for aVery uplifting start to my Sunday. Dove into an interesting brief education on a singer I knew nothing about. Sounds like she was quite an accomplished performer. Great voice!
Thank you for this awesome video. I remember the Forx jingle very well as it played daily through my 20's. Like others here, I looked her up online. Amazing story ❤
I first heard of Kacey Cisyk in the theatre watching the movie "You Light Up My Life". The theme and the rest of the sountrack was the only great part of the movie. They should make a movie out of Kacey Cisyk"s short inspitational life.
I'd like to know who the other musicians are like the drummer and guitarist. Awesome video. Next you could do datsuns songs from the mid 70s to early 80s.
The funniest 80s car company jingle is still 1989's the new generation of olds which will be forever known as "this is not your father's Oldsmobile" 🤣🤣🤣 That slogan/song even spawned a parody song by ray stevens called "this is your daddy's Oldsmobile"
72 Dodge 1 ton 68 built 440 4 speed 14 inch lift kit 44 Super Swamper TSL. I will say have you driven over a Ford lately. But of course I did not write that that is not original material I saw it at a monster truck rally
A Great Campaign that gave people confidence in the brand, I love Fords but the company seems to have lost their way following the EV’s mantra while making missteps in what they were good at. Making reliable AFFORDABLE automobiles and trucks people enjoyed driving. It makes me sad to see this nonsense. 😢

I had to look her up. How sad she dies at such a young age. This commercial is pure 80's optimism about the future, very feel-good and wholesome.
Flipping Awesome! 80s throwback with great cars and a great voice! RIP Cisyk. We Ford fans we always remember you.
We need to go back to the 80's.
She was a very wholesome inspirational person.
May her spirit continue to inspire for generations to come.

This song changed the automotive industry and changed public perception of Ford...

Awesome performance, and a nice tribute.
I vaguely remember this from the 80s!!! Thanks for sharing this fun video!! 👍🙂

and the Pontiac theme! not the "ride pontiac ride" one, but the one that was used in like '84-'85. I'm pretty sure there's one that's just music.
@@spod2998 I think the one before that was “We build excitement!!…. Pon Ti Ac!!!!!”
@@bretttimmons2653 Yes! it was that one. I think I have it on a cassette somewhere, LOL
The Yamaha DX-7 is to synthesizers in the 1980s what the Taurus was to cars.
Thank you for sharing and putting this together.

It was inspiring!
Cool 😀
A great confidence builder. Ford needs to remember that the future can be better. Another Better Idea,.

Did she sing the Ford jingle?
Where did you find this gem?!

Drove my old Ford LTD to MIA to spot planes. Nothing drives like an old Fox-Body Ford.
