This! I got the horizon forbidden west PS5 bundle this weekend for my next review. My hopes were up but was disappointed to see it’s only 30fps (feels less actually) with graphics settings up. The 60fps mode looks great but even still I think 60 should be the minimum. Cheers thanks for watching!

Honestly, 32" 1440p looks nice exp when you got 120hz-165hz so its worth. Yea i mean you do lose a little sharpness from 4k 32" but its not by alot and its totally worth it imo. Also im seeing people getting back onto monitors for pc/console gaming its like its starting to trend back up. For a while it was OLEDS Thus, 1440p is the sweet spot for gaming with those refresh rates and at that point it would only make sense to own a Xbox series S more so then a X
When I first started to get a monitor there was so many variables to choose from free sync HDR curved monitors and now the great big 2.1HDMI for the new consoles what to do for now i went with Gigabyte's 27" curved monitor at least it gives me 120fps on warzone I like it a lot
It's a great console. I bought the S first then switched to X. After experience keeping the S would've been just fine. Monitor/TV with 120 hz + makes a REAL difference in FPS game play compared to 60 hz
Wonderfully man. Surprisingly well for me. The system upscales the 1440p so it looks great on my 4k tv. Check out my Xbox review it goes in detail. But I’ve also read some people have had systems overheat! Not something I’ve experienced yet. Thanks for watching

I'm always confused on why people say "budget" when the price is the same as a decent, larger TV that has more functionality. $300 is pushing it when it comes to budget in my opinion for a display. $250 or lower would be the sweet spot for "budget". At $600 or more your diving into enthusiast territory in my opinion.

Honestly. Just use your smartphone. And try your best to have good audio. I spend more time researching, planning, and scripting than I do filming and editing. I have this monitor. I like it but do you ever get a faint box in the middle of your screen when you play on the Xbox? I have a series x and this happens. It's like it has burn in. But it never happens when I use it with my PC. Also, If I change the # of bits per pixel in the Xbox settings the box goes away until next time I boot up the Xbox. Its very weird and annoying. Also, have you figured out how to change the crosshair styles? I have the options for other custom styles but they are all the same green one. Thanks! Nice video
This M32Q model doesn't but the same monitor comes in 4k that offers 2.1. Check out the Gigabyte M32U for 32" or the M28u28" which is the 4k 2.1 variant Such an incredible monitor, I use this one everyday to date. cheers

This doesn’t allow 165hz. It allows only 1440p @ 120hz. EDIT: Also, Xbox and console games-alike, must have 120 fps enabled internally in the game. Some games are capped at 60hz no matter what.
Yes it’s true. Hence why 4K tvs tend to look more like 1080p and 1080p tv’s tend to look more like 720p then anything else. Bigger display = poorer picture quality.

165hz for nintendo switch and Series S is a complete waste. For the Series S you dont need nothing fancier than the cheapest 1080p 144hz monitor with hdmi 2.0. Newer games hardly go up from 1080p 60fps or 1440p 30fps and in the future it will be even worse. I can imagine the Series S in 3 to 4 years struggling to hit 30fps at 1080p on those future games

Yep. I already have a 4K UHD HDR TV and I will probably only use it for mobies from now on.
My HDR Samsung QN85A is actually good for games AND movies but not so much for live sports

Didn’t have to do any firmware updates. Worked out of the box.
The Xbox however I had to fiddle with the settings for 120hz to even work at 1440p

Very few games run at 120hz, so I wouldn't worry about that too much, the S is brill, though runs very hot.
