      Saw the T83 in my Amazon deal alerts today and before this, this keyboard wasn’t even in my radar. Having just started learning about modding 60% keyboards recently at a much lower price point, I’m starting to really see the value after paying just a bit more. This sounds great and I’m very interested in getting this and making the leap to do more mods. 👌🏽

    Wow I saw this video and thought how do you only have like 100 views and the thumbnail is really good. I had to sub. I also wanted to get a new custom keyboard because mine stopped working so I'm using a office one. I hope I win the giveaway.

    Man I love that theme and it would work year round. Great budget board. I myself have the dk63. My first board. Did the tape mod with some foam and pbt keys. I’m brand new to this hobby. Quickly falling in love 😆. Keep up the great build content

    I agree, that Dierya T83 board is quite a deal. I say that because at its price range, it delivers everything I want, yes, I badly want one with a knob/dial, at a reasonable price, like such. Plus, I could always get the keycaps at a later date if I was really hurting for money. So yeah, I feel that this is the right keyboard that I need in order to get high-speed with keyboard building. With it, I'll be able to practice swapping switches and keycaps, lubricating them, the whole nine yards. Basically, building up the enough confidence to later on be able to build a more elaborate custom one. But as practice, this seems like the perfect guinea pig one, so to speak. Basically, trying to imitate all the steps you do in your videos, in order to lose the fear of disassembling one.
    Personally, I thought its sound was good. I'm actually a fan of keyboards that are more on the silent kind of side, so I'm happy.
    P.S. - When are we getting that face reveal? Nah, just kidding. It's your call.

      I got my last entry in, achieving a total of 24, but that's out of a total of 1261 currently entered ones. I guess those aren't the best odds, but we'll see what happens.

      Indeed. The price for this kit makes it really hard to not consider. Definitely a great buy for anyone who is thinking about getting into the modding side of the hobby. A little lube on the switches, some tuned stabilizers, and tinkering with the foam configurations could provide lots of fun with very little expense. Good luck with the giveaway!

      @@punkshoo Exactly! I want it to be able to tinker without feeling like I'm destroying an expensive keyboard if for some reason something goes wrong due to having close to zero experience with the modding scene. However, at this point, I don't think I'm brave enough to use the X-Acto/craft knife to precisely cut the foam and/or silicone dampening layer, as you did with the Dukharo VN96 for your wife. Thanks, I'm definitely up for all the extra luck I can get. Fingers, toes, and feet crossed!

    Just a question: What software you are using?
    I'm waiting for my T83 to start in this keyboard mod world.
    Thanks for everything bro, a big hug from Brazil.

    I really like my T83. I immediately took the garbage caps and switches off and put on Tecsee Purple Pandas and some MT3 caps. It's the same board as my IK75's, so it's just a slightly different flavor, but I like the subtle changes (like the knob design, it's much nicer on the T83) and overall it's a great board. Unless the person is going to take the IK75 apart and swap to the PC plate, there's no reason to recommend the IK75 over the T83.

      Have you tried the 2.4ghz connection yet? I was wondering if you noticed that while connected by the dongle, and if you let the keyboard sit without input, the lights go off (sleep mode). Then, still with no input, the lights come back on by themselves about 30 seconds to a minute later. Essentially, it never goes to sleep and stays that way. It should only wake up again after a key is pressed.

    I started modding my t83 with a new set of keycaps tsungup keycaps and i am loving it i am planing to get creamy swithces from akko , wanted to get your opinion this and wanna add something since i own a mac and a pc at the same time i had a problem with this keyboard that it either getting stuck at windows mode or mac mode i dunno why and the guys at dierya didnt help with that too do you have any idea or any suggestions regarding that ?

    • @punkshoo
      @punkshoo  6 месяцев назад

      Can't really comments on the mode switching of the board since I never used it, unfortunately, and the fact they couldn't/wouldn't help with that is really disappointing. You could potentially look into getting a more tried and true board that is known for its ability to switch profiles well like a Keychron K series but that would involve getting a whole new board. Sorry to hear you're having those troubles.
