Hi Audrey! Oooo! That leave turned out fab! Ha! I was just thinking, "I wonder if she overlapped the Storm Cloud and Copper Float, " and you answered!! Your Green Tea came out stunning! It looks glossy. Mine comes out matte. That Seaweed/Eggplant combo is beautiful! So is the Birch and Desert Dusk! So intricate! Great load, congrats! Break a leg, and enjoy your concert!
Thanks, Pat. Ya, the Green Tea is matte for me on the slow cool but shiny on the cone 6.🤷. Thanks for all your great comments! Thanks, the concert will be a good one?🎵
Oh Audrey, I feel like kid in a candy store trying to pick my fave! Oh the Micro Pearl is very nice, and your Desert Dusk combo… too many to name! Thank you for sharing! Good luck in this very busy season! 😊
Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it! I actually have never used ancient copper. I guess I never felt the need to because I had Copper Float. Thanks for watching!❤️
This is the 3rd kiln opening of the day for me!! Woohoo! I absolutely LOVE the copper float!! I never used it before you did all of these videos on it! I think mayco needs to give you recognition!! Haha the green tea in that bowl looks amazing!! There is so much variation! Did you do anything special to get that? That tigers eye and desert dusk is stunnning!! I made a set of mugs like that several years ago and had to keep one for myself!! My gosh what an incredible kiln load!! I can’t thank you enough for all of the glaze combo ideas. I use so many of yours!! The rose quartz and amaryllis combo is one of my all time favorites. I made a big mug for myself with that one too!! Good luck with all the stuff you have coming up!❤❤
I’m so glad you’re loving it! That green tea glaze has been turning out like that for me with the cone 6 firing. 🤷 Thanks for all your enthusiastic comments, Michele! I appreciate it!
So many wonderful pieces. I'm glad the new firing schedule worked. I'm sure you would've had more people, other than me suggesting a hold at the end of the cone 6.😊 I can't say which is my favourite but I do think the cup with sea salt, white opal and copper float is a good simple combination. Creating a beautiful, elegant piece. The bowl with green tea and copper float is also beautiful. In other words both pieces are Pulchritudinous. 😅😅(love using the thesaurus) Great unload. Thanks for sharing 😊
Hey my d sis! Ohhh good timing on the copper float for me!! Oh good idea doing autumn leaves w it pretty! Oh I love the mug w the sea salt copper float band gorgeous! The pumpkin is stunning too. Oh wow I wrote down power turquoise then u did it! Ohhh the winter wood one WOW!! Yr kiln fav made me giggle! U r the queen of copper float!! I’m scared to use it. Stay tuned lol. Amazing unload I think my fav load of yrs so far! Nat xx
Hi Drippy Sista! You like my FISTS FULL OF FAVES!? 😂😂😂. I get your apprehension to use the Copper Float! It does not work on the slow cool, don't even try! Lisa F tried, I have tried ..NO GO! Cone 6, 8 min hold, medium speed. 🤞
These results are spectacular! Would you be able to post your kiln schedule for this firing? I use a community kiln with just the default skutt cone 6 schedule and I would like to provide this schedule to the kiln loader.
So what I did exactly is, 2 yr preheat to make sure the glazes were real dry, then cone 6 with an 8 minute hold at medium speed. That's it. I got great Copper Float results with no pinholes. 🙂
Hi Audrey, what a beautiful kiln unloading. I loved all your pieces! You have inspired me to use my copper float. So you only do a cone 6, not a slow cool schedule? In the past when I used copper float I never get all the crystals. Maybe because I fired to cone 5 slow cool. Thanks for sharing!❤️
Hi, Ana, my friend! Yes! Only cone 6. This firing had an 8 min hold on medium speed and I didn't get any pinholes. You don't get the crystals in a slow cool. Let me know how it goes.
Beauty of a kiln load Audrey!! I've got to use my CF...You get such gorgeous results...thanks for the tip with the 8 min hold. Do you program you cone 6 to 2232? thanks again for sharing!
OMG, it doesn’t get any better than this kiln opening, Audrey! Did you do a slow cool on this one? I don’t think so but I just wanted to be sure because I think it makes a difference. I have a few questions. Sorry OK first of all why The squeeze bottle for the copper float? Also does the copper float overlap the white opal and the sea salt and if so, how much? I’ve got to say this is the most beautiful kiln opening I have seen. EVER!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥👏🏼🫶🏼🤩😮🙀 -Liana
Hey, Liana. It's a cone 6, 8 min hold, medium speed. I just like using the squeeze bottle. There is only an 1/8 to a 1/4 overlap over the Copper Float. Hope that helps.
Hi Audrey. Would you please tell me how many coats of glaze you brush on your mini pumpkins? And, thank you for the great glaze inspiration. Beautiful results.
What a beautiful unload! And no pinholes! Yay!
Yup!...YAAAAAAAAY!😂😂😂
Very nice kiln opening! Thank you for sharing!!! :)
Thank you so much, I’m so glad you enjoyed it Vickie!

Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it! I actually have never used ancient copper. I guess I never felt the need to because I had Copper Float. Thanks for watching!❤️

Wowsa. Everything is so gorgeous .
Thank you, Sharon. I was pretty stoked with this load!
Looks like the same velvet I have for a dress I sewed and I love it!
Wow, must be a beautiful dress, and congratulations for sewing it!
Nice load Audrey!
Thank you, I was very happy with it!
Wow , you’re amazing with all those combos you put together !!!
Thank you so much, I really enjoy playing around with glazes! Sometimes, we just don't have enough time to, especially now!
Everything is so beautiful! 😮
Thank you so much. I was very happy with the results!
I love these! I think I will be trying copper float 😊
Thanks! It's such a fun glaze! Thanks for watching!
Just amazing!!

Gorgeous combos with copper float! I have also done mugs with bears on the side, wondering if you used a silicone mold for the bear?
Yes, it's a Temu mold.

Wow Audry, you have got that copper float glaze working like a charm! Beautiful! Is it a Mayco glaze?
Hey, Monique! Yes, it's a Mayco glaze! Thanks for watching!

Hi, Sarah! YES!, 2232 F for the cone 6. So I did 2hr preheat, cone 6, 8 min hold, medium speed. Thanks for asking.

Hi, Kathy. I use 2x of glaze on those. 🎃
Do you prefer Copper Float or Ancient Copper? I might try one of them. Another great opening!
Hey, Sarah. I have never used Ancient copper. I never felt the need to since I love my Copper Float. Wish I was more help.
Lobe everything! On your tall mugs, how tall would you say they are when you throw them?
It's about 7". Here is the link to my tutorial:

Let me know how it goes.🙂
@AudreyLynnStudios thanks!
I didn't see any warping. I thought it looked perfect.
Your sweet. It's definitely warped. Someone will still want it! 🐻❄️
