Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this episode. I really hope they make it so trial mobs can't pick up gear and keep it. That bug is awful.
This was so good. I also died once but managed to get all my gear and got the core. So sorry for the loss but you could've drowned your zombie to get your gear back, they drop armor when converted. Amazing video! Keep up the good work. Loving the chemistry
Bedrock has no swiping attack for sword which would make dealing with swarm of mobs much easier… I guess Crossbow with multishot or piercing would be useful then.
RIP Armour, thank you for your service. Let's hope the bug gets fixed ASAP. You didn't even get a full set of Diamond Armour back in replacement. But it does look like fun! And you & Prowl learned a thing, and better - you taught us this useful trick for the Tricky Trials. Thank you!

Yeah man shoutout to these two guys because I was thinkin man this is gonna take some preparing I just started a fresh world but then I watched the rest of the vid
I just did 3 trial chambers last night opened maybe 9 ominous vaults and didn't get a heavy core. But I did realize if you put a blocks around the spawners like 1 or 2 blocks apart like three high they are trapped inside. So I put a half slab halfway up the "barrier" and took them out through the slab. Works for all except silver fish.
Yall I don’t know why you died so much, I’m not hating or anything, but the first time i came across a trial chamber I drank a raid potion (lvl IV I think ) and didn’t die once. I had diamond and iron armor with basic protection enchants, but what was really the reason I lived was because I had a veritable legion of wolves. That’s always my strategy when I am attacking a mansion or chamber or the nether. Wolves are extremely easy to make an army of, and with the armadillo armor they are quite invincible for a long time. I usually explore/travel with about four or five as a guard, but when I am attacking something, I bring up to twenty. Even tough mobs like endermen don’t stand a chance against such an onslaught. I hope this helps some one!
One strategy is to go up to a spawner and quickly cover it up on all faces. To stop it from continuing to spawn... then take on eace spawner one by one
this is the best trial chambers guide and really helpful. even more helpful than my favorite youtuber, ibxtoycat. the strategy is really helpful and it helps me control when i want to fight the mobs especially the ones im really struggling to fight - baby zombies and the bogged. 😊thankyou so much blujay
Just so you know it isn’t a bug when they take your armor. The intention of them not dropping armor is because of the amount that there would be after the ominous trial is complete. It would make getting armor with trims far two easy.
Oh I’m fully aware of that fact. Mobs have been able to pick up dropped items FAR before this update. But they are supposed to drop any picked up items upon death, which they are not doing. 👍🏻
You can find them in existing worlds. HOWEVER...if you've loaded / saved chunks farther out, you may have to travel farther to find them. You can always prune worlds if you have a PC, or you can travel, or you can start fresh. Up to you!

RIP. We have a screen shot somewhere from a few weeks ago, "[Starry] was slain by Reaps The Fallen", my son's looting 3 smite 5 sword for our mob spawner farm They patched the gear loss bug like a week later, w had a memorial for the gear lost in those early days 😂
The only difficulty about trial chambers is what to do with all the trash loot. Brought a beacon and unchambered their trial for all that tuff/copper. 😂

Cobwebs and lava are a must in the trail chambers, i lost al of my gear too because of that i underestimated the ominous trail 😅
This is an interesting idea. Take fire res potions, and a bucket of lava, and just burn all the monsters? NEW STRATEGY!!! lol

Until they fix them keeping all your gear, I suggest getting the Graves add-on and activating it before going into the trails.

Did you build the portal above Y=0? Do you have mob spawning turned on in the world? Those are the first things I would check.
I build it with the same cords of yours but still didn't spawn sorry for interrupting
