Got this recently. 1 thing and it might just be in my head, but I think with a Kettle boil then pour into tea/coffee the water is steaming hot, but with this it seems a little less hot. Is there a way to increase the boil temp on this??
I have one of these! its not noisy boiling the water, its only when it spews it out the spout it does lol, but excellent kettle! i have had mine for 6 years, and it was secondhand when i bought it, still works fine! :D
Mine needs cleaning do you use vinegar or a descaling liquid please I live in a hard water area,I didn’t realise you could use bottled water I will in future thank you.
I don't remember actually every cleaning it. I only use filtered water with it since I also live in a hard water zone. I use Brita filter to remove the hardness before hand. My coffee machine also benefits from this.
It delivers approximately 300ml. You get five cups for each 1.5 litre fill. 300ml is about right for a typical coffee mug. It will overflow into the drip tray if you use a smaller cup.
It’s about as loud as an average kettle, but it only boils for a fraction of the time. In a small house, yes everyone will hear it but ok a bigger house with 2 walls between it and people sleeping, its fine.
how do i get rid of the green scale that forms inside the kettle please ... i'm sure it has something to do with the hard water. I've managed to to some extent with a bottle brush ie one which bends and cleans corners but there are some corners I can't reach
You might have to use some kind of de-scaler liquid or something. Since I use filtered water I've never hand any scale at all even now. It's the hard water for sure.
This is helpful, thank you
Thank you! I’ e been looking for a simple answer to my “do one cup dispensers stop automatically?” and you supplied the answer, thanks!
hahaha. I'm glad I unwittingly provided the answer :)
Same as mine 40 seconds to boil and about 8 to fill the cup 👍somehow it makes all brews taste better too 🤔🤷♀️🤷♀️
I counted 26 seconds.
Lovely review
Thsnk you x

Interesting. It would be useful to measure the temperature of the water coming out to see if it’s actually 100°C. There’s no way to adjust it sadly

I love it. It's been 5 years now and still going strong

@@adesfavs Normal Kitchen Descale would work, Vinegar would too, but rinse out thoroughly before making your first cuppa!
I have got green water forming at the vase of the handle and can't get at it to clean.
That doesn't sound good. Maybe some kind of mould or mildew.
Is there anyway i can turn the cup measure down? It over fills so we have to tip some out and its annoying
Sadly no
how many cups in dispenser

Thanks for the demo but it doesnt look like you get much. You said one cup at a time but it looked like only half a cup to me
That sounds really loud. Would it wake the house in the middle of the night? Thank you for showing us how it works.
