    So this is the American Licorice and not Liquorice Glycyrrhiza Glabra / China ?

    Very well done good sir. One question though are there any poisonous look alikes

      It could possibly be confused with the bracken fern which all parts are toxic. But those are quite a bit larger and grow on the ground, not on trees.
