Acetone damaged the paint on my Ikea magnetic board but it took out rough old encrusted thick tape. Had to follow-up with Windex and Jiff, short of siphoning gasoline from the car. Now two photograph prints hide the aftermath.
aha! for those ones who don't have nail polish remover: JUST USE NAIL POLISH! and wipe off with tissue after applying on the surface, it works like charm~
Thanks for the sugggestion. It's funny you mention that. Because, I am pretty sure every anodized pan that i've bought and used, because of the protective coating, no lables or sticky residue was a problem. But my suggestion would be to use denatured alcohol (also known as methyl hydrate). It doesn't quite have the strength of acetone, but I've used it many times for cleaning and removing epoxys. It works, and doesn;t smell as bad... and isn't as toxic on your skin.
😀 *Hey guys! Thanks for watching. If you have any suggestions on other products that remove glue, please share them!* 😀
