I watched some videos about Algeria. About life in villages deep in the mountains in Kabylie. Unbelievably it's almost the same. Of course, the Natives of the homeland became strangers. Watching these ladies fighting with life, it's heartbroken, I can't imagine how life is harsh. The regimes of the north African countries are rotten. Deep in the corruption. But I have a feeling they won't last for long, many tyrants, just their names left in history. You deserve a better life. May God be with you.
Awilie. Kifesh? Even tourists visit these places 😑 I was born and raised in The Netherlands and most of my familie from both sides live in the High Atlas Mountains, part live in Marrakech and other cities but the majority still going strong in the mountains 🤣 I always travel to visit my family in the mountains. Back in the day there was no electricity, no sewers, no gas not even a road to the village (you would have to travel by horse through the mountains to get to the village). Today it's different of course. Roads to the village have been build, sewers are presents and electricity is present. But still a tough life.

Thank you Aljazhera for this. Here we are in Scotland moaning about what we do not have, never thank you for what we have. We have so much. Too much. The waste, the greed, the upset for so little: traffic jams, boyfriend not looked at the new hair do, credit cards, cars and pollution, but we have hospitals and doctors, phones, water at the taps. Then we mistreat our bodies, minds with rubbish. We have jobs or benefits and pensions to care for us. We are scared of nature. Scared of hard work , manual work for which we recruit foreigners , we moan however about them for being there.
السلام عليكم صلى الله على محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم!! I am indian my 19months baby is tested for THALASSEMIA and I don't afford the costs of treatment, food, in this critical time. abdulqyyum2@okicici
Yes, but there you have the men staying around you most of the time. The life in this video is so much better, so much more ideal, than any in Scotland or elsewhere in the West because the men are gone and keep to themselves. This eliminates most social problems even if the price is early "marriage" and hard work. At least they're mostly gone.
@@elena-lc4uk Partly true, partly not. Many of the most crucial natural resources from antiquity, like massive volumes of wood and common metals, were extracted from the north. When resources were taken from the countries you describe, such as oil, they were not "wealth" until such extraction was being done because those populations or their governance did not know how to utilize them, at least for that purpose. Slavery, of course, is a glaring exception as a wealth derived from labor, but that history also centers in the Middle East long before it was a major factor in US or Western European production.

@Shooting Star what happens there it's can happen anywhere, 99% it's safe, and it's really very rare, I see a lot of RUclips's they went there and stay with locals and they're so pleased and happy for the experience that they had
Very good idea

What a beautiful document, both the women, the scenery and the story. I really wish there will be some village projects to take on so the men will no need to leave the family and village and travel afar for works. But glad that this document make the world know about the situation, hopefully more charity organizations will start some projects here, all these women are very talented and strong, I am sure there will be a better future for all. Blessings and greetings from Australia.
Thank you very much from Morocco Atlas mountains.

I watched some videos about Algeria. About life in villages deep in the mountains in Kabylie.
Unbelievably it's almost the same. Of course, the Natives of the homeland became strangers. Watching these ladies fighting with life, it's heartbroken,
I can't imagine how life is harsh.
The regimes of the north African countries are rotten. Deep in the corruption. But I have a feeling they won't last for long, many tyrants, just their names left in history.
You deserve a better life. May God be with you.
I lived 18 years in morocco, i've never got the chance to witness this, it's an entire different world from living in big cities !
Very true, same here.
I was born in Morocco, I moved out at the age of 22 and I never seen this places.. I actually don't know a lot about my country which is a shame
Awilie.
I lived and visited big cities city in morocco too, its more worst too, at least these women are been great mothers.
MashaAllah beautiful n hardworking ladies May Allah give them more n more strength so dat they can take care of them their children ameen
Beautiful people, ❤️ From 🇸🇴 Somalia

Thank's for the documentation. Woman has to work very hard and care for there children and home. Hope a Woman&Child Foundation came soon for this Country and people.
such an outstanding and truly reality-reflecting documantary!
for your informations, those two girls Aicha and Saida who sing in the beginning of the video have became two of the best-known Amazigh-females singers in the country, known as Aicha Maya and Saida titrit. I guess that Aljazeera was their gateway to fam.
Hard life, especially for women. So many poor people in the world, so many beautiful, brave and talented souls. I wish this fantastic planet is happier place for all these women and children. Love from Serbia!
So much heartfelt connections here. Love from India ❤

Moroccan woman lives loves support any situation in live from day one till her last day. She is very strong. Tebarkelallah. Life is not make up restaurant disco or fashion. They live really life that most of us should do it or at least experience it.
Indeed women are the rocks that all the communities in the world are built on. Proud to have them in our lives. Imagine how lives will be difficult for us in their absentia.
Hafida says "my husband works in Sahara" not western Sahara , don't play with Morocco
@First Last ok bb,
Of course some dummy would focus on something that is unrelated to the human cost of living in such a place..I feel so bad for these women...these places never prosper becuase the people love gossip and to make others feel bad...just like some of the people in the comments
Maghrib means west thus that's why sahra Al maghribiya, western sahara
@@Haqqsterdam stop capping fam. Maghreb is just the name of morocco in arabic. Thats why it is the moroccan sahara. And maghreb doesn’t mean west but sunset 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
West by geograpghy , because there is an Eastern Sahara
very touching story, bless those women who work so hard to make sure there is food on table for their kids.
I lived in Morocco with the beautiful amazigh people in Affourar for a year in 2009, I can honestly say they are the kindest and warmest people I've met as a foreigner. Fortunately the people, women of Affourar which was a small town in the low atlas did have access to education and medical care. Many small towns do, but not all like this film portrays. Long live Amazigh! X
It is heart breaking to see how women are working to support their families, God bless them all happiness and prosperity.
What an insightful comment Miss Christine.May you be a force for good in this world and to your family with such a humble ,sincere heart .

Yes we have to know that the wealth originally came to Europe from the ravaging of Black and Brown countries. And do these people benefit?
@@elena-lc4uk Partly true, partly not. Many of the most crucial natural resources from antiquity, like massive volumes of wood and common metals, were extracted from the north. When resources were taken from the countries you describe, such as oil, they were not "wealth" until such extraction was being done because those populations or their governance did not know how to utilize them, at least for that purpose. Slavery, of course, is a glaring exception as a wealth derived from labor, but that history also centers in the Middle East long before it was a major factor in US or Western European production.

Lots of love from Namibia 🇳🇦. Made me think how spoiled I am sometimes.
As a Moroccan Amazigh , born in Holland, I feel the pain of my Amazigh brothers and sisters , and I even feel kinda guilty. I visit Morocco every year, have a lot of family there (North Morocco, Rif region, Aith Wayaren tribe), so I see the poverty and pain every year there. However , I still feel that these people are blessed in way with a pure lifestyle, away from the depraved lifestyle that we have here in the West. We, Imazighen, value our women, and we only have 1 true king, and that is God. We bow only for him and him alone.
May the Almighty Allah bless these people when I saw this video it really brought tears to my eyes to think most of us live such coushy lives to think most of the children of to day are so spoilt every thing is found for them. We suld make shukar for what ever we hv this video is a really an eye opener Allah Hafez from South Africa.
