WOW, this is amazing, I enjoyed watching the Algerian customs and values when it comes to marriage and weddings. I realized it's about two families coming together and become one. Very similar to my tradition, only men's day, praying together, agreeing on the dowry and celebrating the bridegroom. Women's day having fun, gifting the bride, dancing and celebrating! I love the traditional wedding dresses, they are so beautiful, the brides look so beautiful and everybody is happy. @@materre1662 no it is absolutely not. Algeria and Tunisia are much more roman and ottoman influenced (strong spanish influence only exists in these countries since after the reconquista) while Morocco show much more spanish and west african influences and has no ottoman influence whatsoever. They may seem "absolutely similar" because both cultures took from the islamic golden age and the mediterranean culture to some extend, but to fine connoisseurs they are different. I actually have been to these 3 countries. Algeria without a doubt, is the country where berber and christian influences were strong (obviously today it is a proud muslim country). Both Augustine of Hippo and St. Monica are from Numidia (current day Algeria) which also gave birth to Apuleius. On a personal level, Algerians seem to have more delicate and natural attractive facial features than Tunisians or Moroccans regardless of the pigmentation. It is of course a personal opinion. In all of the middle east I would say Syrians are probably the closest match.
@Amar sellami lol first of all I am not a woman and Syrians are not white nor do they have a homogeneous culture.... Anyway, you said you live in the Netherlands. I don't think you're the best fit to talk about what daily life and interactions looks like in north africa, a place that I know inside out from Egypt to Morocco. I repeat it again, culturewise, the closest people to Algerians are without a doubt Tunisians. The overwhelming majority will tell you just that. Because of the many shared ottoman influences in the culture, the omnipresent mediterranean identity and the fact that 75% of all Algerians live in the central and eastern coast of Algeria. Influences that are nonexistent in Morocco. However If we're only talking about physical appearance, in all of the MENA it is Syrians. It is not really clear as to why, but from the most dark syrians to the palest syrians, the majority would fit in just like a glove. I don't think you've ever been to Syria so please stay in the Netherlands and keep your identity crisis statement to yourself.
@Amar sellami and since we're talking about Netherlands, this country is known to have an enormous moroccan population all hailing from the Rif. Which is the most northern region of morocco and the only one on the Mediterranean coastline. I have been there and I can tell you that (aside from the religion obviously) it is the only region in morocco where there is a "significant overlap" with Algerians both physically and culturally. (emphasis put on the rifi dialect, the only amazigh language of the kingdom that can be understood in Algeria). In all other regions, there is a distinctive 'atlas mountain' phenotype, history and culture that is typically moroccan. Anyway, it is absolutely your right to have preferences in women. There are attractive and repulsive people in absolutely every country and social media is in no way a good metric for analysing populations lol. However, it is not the subject as I was talking about the general population. Men and women of Algeria have objectively the most delicate features due to its complex human settlement history. It is a well known fact If you know that well the history of the maghreb. Again regardless of the pigmentation, attractive features doesn't necessarily mean the most handsome/beautiful but the most balanced.
U just saw 1% of the Algerian weddings! All this wedding are in the west of Algeria There still the east the south etc... Each state in Algeria has its own tradition food culture etc.... Especially in my city Constantine
@Cheltook Tribe, Pakistanis are Mongols? If you think so, then you don't know much about Pakistan (Sorry to say). Pakistan has very few people of the Mongoloid origin, mainly in the northeast. Most Pakistanis are either Indo-Aryans or Persian-Aryans. Of course, there are people of other origins as well. People who are called Mughals, are not the descendants of the Mongols. They look very different. Also, I have never seen a Mongol wedding, but this Algerian wedding looks a whole lot similar to a Pakistani wedding. Of course they are not exactly the same, with same clothes and everything. But, Pakistanis also have their own equivalents of the same traditions.
@Cheltook Tribe, While it's true that the name Mughal was used for the Mongols in the subcontinent. But the Mughals in Pakistan are not the descendants of Mongols.
But We Hyderabad (INDIA) also done almost same ceremonies , except dancing , egg broke with leg , bridegroom not in gathered in ceremony ,, because we hygienic people completely different culture from Indians , you know why ? WOW, this is amazing, I enjoyed watching the Algerian customs and values when it comes to marriage and weddings. I realized it's about two families coming together and become one. Very similar to my tradition, only men's day, praying together, agreeing on the dowry and celebrating the bridegroom. Women's day having fun, gifting the bride, dancing and celebrating! I love the traditional wedding dresses, they are so beautiful, the brides look so beautiful and everybody is happy. Amazing, May God bless all of the newly weds with a home full of children and happiness!

Such beautiful people. We have visited Morocco and loved it. Now we have to visit Algeria. Greetings to all from Canada.
I'ts absolutly similar to morocco, but you have to see it by yourself
You are welcome this is my facebook : Thé Tea

In Bangladesh the marriage practices are the same. Nice to see so much similarity. Algerian roads are very clean and tidy
hahahha dont lie man, you have similar weddings like indians and pakistanis 😂😂
Hyderabad Is a multi culture marriage ceremony like Iran , Yemen , Saudi , Egypt & turkey . And once upon a Hyderabad was one of the country , later in 1948 kingdom rule completely finished , and than Hyderabad included in Indian map .
Don't compare with Algeria... becoz Algeria are more clean.
