It's doing a pretty awesome job of building Six's backstory, for sure.
Six started off as just another survivor making his own way in the wasteland, but over time he's revealing himself as an absolute savage who has very... Up and down morals... and the teddy bear comment makes me think he has some serious personal trauma going on.
Wild.

I think he's a very self-rightous psycho trying to bring "justice" to the wasteland.. in his own way 😬
There seems to be a liberal undertone in his statements; but he just... doesnt value life all *that* much in the end 😅
It's like if someone woke up and society collapsed forever. Anyone who thinks they'd be a rightous hero in a situation like fallout has their head up their ass.
You know his reaction to Joshua Graham now makes perfect sense, no wonder he gave him so much shit for being asked for help, he's a former Legion prisoner that managed to escape and he just met THE Joshua Graham

Between the Caesar's Legion story and his thoughts on teddy bears, I'm starting to understand Six's behavior. He's been through hell and back. Being a prisoner and being forced to consume human meat has probably given him an intense hatred of authority figures and being ordered around.
As for the teddy bears, I think Six is a bit of a misanthrope who prefers the company of things that can't talk back.
His (6's)moral compass was messed up from the start...
That look into Six's backstory and history with the legion was a pleasant surprise. It was really cool to see how it adapted him choosing the cannibal perk into his story.
Six backstory on Episode Six was neat too
Six having the balls to pretend he was focused on Benny when he went on a murder tourist adventure to Honest Hearts.
Six is a demented man who's lived a very weird life.
If you had TTW installed, I bet he'd do something insane like b-line to Vegas, then head back to DC to find his dad.
I am loving the frequency with which these episodes come out!
Six has depicted himself as the Chad, and Chris as the Wojak.
Six went from choosing decent armor to "fuck it, I'll be running around in a shirt and sweater."
You have perfected the formula for these. The choice for Six's voice is great too. I like how their background is informing the decisions.
Here's a fun fact about the quest "Come Fly With Me". When you get to the area with the nightkin, you can side with them if you manage to get to their leader without killing any of them.

I feel like Six is definitely going the Independent Vegas route.
6's thought on the legion is one more reason he hated Joshua Graham, because Graham was a major leader in the leagion and made no effort to hide it.
Holy fn sht the PIECES ARE COMING TOGETHER. This man is LEGIT canon. I am beyond amazed. This is such an amazing series. The plot twists and slow reveal is insane.
New vegas is my favourite game of all time, this playthrough is a hit of nostalgia with a fun and unique twist. AI will be absolutely terrifying in the future

6 is such an interesting character! That sympathetic but still eventual descent into a cruel angel of death feel I get from him is so gripping. His views on both the NCR and Legion seem negative (though Legion moreso).

6 really just hit that man with "Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful"
So Harland is kinda paranoid (he _is_ trapped in a corner room in a basement by Nightkin) and will attack you if you wander too far into his room. Had Six not just said "bye" he would have tried to make a deal to rescue one of the other ghouls (she's dead so you just report back) it can be resolved peacefully. Come Fly With Me is among my favorite quests because of all the possible points that it can be peacefully extended or violently short circuited.
I was not expecting more lore about 6's cannibalism. It makes A LOT more sense why he despises being bossed around.
I've always picked up teddy bears and either keeping him and putting them on shelfes on my bases, or selling them to traders. You know, so it won't just lie on "a pile of bones or a bathtub filled with blood", as Six said, and maybe, someday, someone buy them and they will be needed again (some sort of role-playing, i guess?) Never thought about that before watching this video. Video is nice though, keep up!

a female courier can have similar with ulysses, if they're on side of legion (which is dumb for a female courier), ulysses has a line about how last he heard, you need a weapon between your legs to work for the legion, and the courier can respond "is that why you're no longer with them"
This is such a good series. I’m sure it’s probably a complete mess to compute everything into the ai but I’m invested 😂
Six is so mad that the Legion killed those people before he had a chance to.
Honestly loved the illustrations during Six's telling of his history with the legion, the story itself was honestly engaging and intriguing as all hell. This is probably one of my favorite fallout-related series I've seen in ages. I hope to see more art used for whenever Six tells stories related to his 'backstory'. I also am very curious as to what faction Six is honestly going to pick eventually, I could easily see him going for a few different factions, probably not caesar's legion seeing his history with them.
With his fascination with teddy bears, I wonder how he would get along with Doctor Dala in Old World Blues.
Though, I have a feeling that the Think Tank scientists would not survive their encounter with Six…

I'm loving watching the series, I would recommend making a gameplay of Vampire the Masquerade BloodLines the game has great dialogues and very interesting decisions.

I gasped when you ran up to Harland’s space unprompted...that was sad. And the nightkin are super easy to avoid if you just sneak straight to Davison. I would’ve been interested in seeing what Six would have done with the terminal that could sabotage or perfect the rocket mission...but you were flying through quickly.
All in all, this is very cool and I love watching an AI roleplay this game. Thanks for bringing that to us!

I love this series.
So he hates Joshua with a passion, but thinks Jason and his followers are alright? Hard to tell what he's thinking. But at least he knows how to roast Beagle.
And the bit about the teddy bears destroyed me.
I really like Jason Bright, kinda wish he was in the game more. And the bright brotherhood robes are sick. My current playthrough they're my standard outfit, alongside the authority glasses and ranger hat.
Can't wait to see how 6's adventure evolves from here.
Joshua Graham was a legate in the legion, never left of his own volition as well, and still has a legion mindset, with the added religious dogma, thus why I think he was more open to helping Manny than Joshua

26:00 I respect that ruthless pragmatism. The fact is, if you can separate the act from your emotions, sex is an incredibly powerful tool, even when used inexpertly. And in the wasteland, where a fair number of positions of power and authority are held by women, being good at manipulating them can certainly be a valuable survival skill
Great play through. I love New Vegas. I watched this while staying at Buffalo Bill's (aka the Bison Steve) in Primm. Last night I had dinner at the Pioneer Saloon (aka the Prospector Saloon) in Goodsprings. This morning I visited Nipton, Searchlight, Boulder City, and Hoover Dam. I've been to Nelson before so I skipped that. In game I am getting ready to confront Benny at the Tops.
"caesars legion has no respect for human life" says the murder thirsty AI that just doomed two civilizations because they asked oh I'm sorry i mean "forced" it to help them.
Six has definitely become more and more of a savage over time, which works quite well for the playthrough.
The only thing that bugs me is the AI's choice of attire/equipment and skills, as the AI explains them, but they either don't make sense for the character or aren't consistent, and the AI seems okay with it. Still, makes for a pretty unpredictable, chaotic run.
Never stop this series 🙌 please continue on to other fallout titles too 🙏

I really want to see the NPCs get openAI dialog too and watch the two go at it, just like some of the skyrim mods that are coming out.

The Cannibalism Perk really only applies as an object of healing after combat. There are dialogue options, however, that it will play into down the road.
@drakefs_ thats totally fair. I personally got excited when 6 chose the perk. Just so out of the box.
I loved this video, everything from Six's backstory with the legion to his very amusing talk with Davison and Antler. The only thing I didn't like is that he left Oliver Swanick alive, I usually kill him right as I see him as is tradition. Also I wonder if Six will have any cool backstory with Mr. House like he's had with the legion, guess I'll have to wait for the next exciting episode to find out and I can't wait.

Something about Six is so engaging compared to your other AI playthroughs, he seems a lot more unpredictable and unhinged in comparison, great stuff.
@@willroth7521 yeah thats what actually inspired me to play mass effect myself I'm halfway through 2 atm! Not sure if the AI itself has improved since then or maybe Drake is getting better with his prompts, probably a little bit of both. Can't help but be disappointed af that Six did my boy Joshua Graham so dirty though!

I have done many a playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas, but I have never had a run where Swanick wears the Powder Ganger Guard Armor.

Just out of curiosity, how does the AI remember its place in the game? Do you just tell it at the start of each session which quests are still open/which quests are already finished? Or is there a way to save the previous interactions you've had with it and it "remembers" everything up to this point itself?

If you mean an opinion of Chris in general, I probably could've asked him that. Oversight.
If you mean where Chris gets left behind, for whatever reason the game bugged on it. He offered no dialogue in regards to it. Chris didn't acknowledge it, and continued to talk as if it was pre-launch for the rocket. So... ya. Didn't include it. Weird bug.

How exactly did you get the components for the rocket if you don't mind me asking? The isotope you could get one of two ways and the module you could only get from Old Lady Gibson. It would've been nice to see Six's reaction to her and how he would've went about obtaining the quest item.

I always presumed the 'great beyond' was death, but the ghouls clearly didn't consider that a possibility. I would like to know where the rockets landed and if there were any survivors.
There's an ending slide you can unlock, where they come back to help Novac.
