hey everyone ! so i’ve been seeing this “unicorn”/“wolf cut” hair cut around tiktok and thought i would give it a try … yes it was an impulsive decision lol.
KEEP IN MIND I AM NOT A HAIR STYLIST BY ANY MEANS. this is not a tutorial.

i did this recently with the ponytail at the top of my head but just one cut. (i had bangs alrdy so i wasnt worried abt the front) i went from mid-back length to a little past shoulder length (around jaw length when dry) and i rlly love it! i recommend this kind of technique for ppl with curly hair👍🏽

IT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! The reason why you are supposed to do it wet was because, if you cut it while dry you will have 1 million different lengths when you style your hair again. When its wet you can have it completely detangled and get an accurate cut.

Thank you for this video😩 I wanted to do a unicorn cut but the only people I saw doing it were people with wavy or straight hair and my hair is type 3. Definitely gonna try this next week but instead of 3 sections only 1

yesss ! i recommend doing it when your hair is in it’s natural state/how you normally wear it texture-wise because then you might get unevenness due to your hair being stretched/blow dried beforehand like i did (wasn’t too much unevenness and i did end up manually fixing it) 🤦🏽‍♀️ but i do really like the shape and am glad i did it 🧡 be careful if you do it, i’m not a hair stylist! 🧡🧡

Never cut curly hair wet. It will look so different when dry. Our hair shrinks and coils.

I liked it alot before you cut the layers all over again. It's very cute. You should get a razor comb to go over the ends and make it look natural
