That old Veteran at 11:00, what a guy, I guess he's seen a lot of stuff he does not want to see again, bless him for his service. I would have to buy from him.
Awesome video, loved the conversation with Korean War vet. Bout two weeks ago I picked up one of them Olympus superzoom 300 cameras in a box lot at an auction . Not worth a lot.
My grandfather was a cook in the Korean War as well, small world. Growing up I really enjoyed playing dominoes and listening to the war stories from his perspective!
My girlfriend and I did the 127 yardsale for 10 years. It was the best time ever. She has passed away so I enjoy watching you make deals. My friend never paid full price for anything and would have a big garage sale on what she bought. This was all before U tube.
Years ago before we could afford a VCR.. ( they were expensive at first) a friend gave us his video disc player and about 100 movie discs..... when he moved out of state... Hung on to them for yrs... Saw an ad on Craigslist where a guy was given the player by his grandfather but only 2 discs and he was hoping he could buy some cheap...... Made him a deal he couldn't refuse for the discs... and he drove 3 hrs to come get them... He didnt need the player so we eventually sold that for $100 with 3 movie discs we found later... The guy who got the 100 discs was a 18 yr old college kid.. studying the field of films... Price he paid... $0...... They were given to us free so I believe in paying it forward.... I'm not a reseller just occasionally sell at the flea market...
I got an old Tandy computer for free from a thrift store that was throwing it away because they couldn’t test it. I sold it on eBay for $425. Thanks for another great video
Shoutout to all the people that do sell on eBay, I've heard numerous people around where I live saying "I could sell it on ebay, I just don't want to take time to do it" and for that I thank you
Kevin, I think you need to invest in new deck shoes or get orthodic insoles for the ones you seem to always wear. They are not giving you the proper support on that hard, uneven ground you are always walking on. Better yet find a good pair of sneakers or running shoes . They will help your back and spine out. Great show, enjoyed your respect for that old timer who served in the Navy in Korea. You always acknowledge their sacrifice and service. My dad served on the USS SANTA FE in the Pacific theater in WWII. Good finds, sorry you missed that Taylor Swift CD the first time around.💕🇺🇲
Love all your videos. Like you, I always thank individuals who served in military. Okay you asked what was the most recent sale that was good and it actually touched my heart. I purchased from an online auction in our area a painting for $32. I did my homework (like I learned from you and others) and knew it was worth much more. I listed it for $499 and a women purchased it for $486 + shipping of $146 to Texas from New York = $632 total. The artwork was done by an artist that the woman's father would hunt with on the family homestead AND the picture showed the property and the two men where she lives today. She could not thank me enough as she was looking for the painting for years. This definitely made my day in many ways.
Love your videos. You are always so polite to the people you meet and seem genuinely happy when they share a great find they have found. Hop you have a great day!
Years ago I bought a large twisted bottle of Guess perfume at a garage sale for $1. I held on to it for a while so I could decide where I was going to sell it. I ended up selling it on eBay with enough time to get it shipped for Christmas. It sold for $232!!!! I was so excited!!!
I sold a set of 8 vintage 1960s Barbie books for $130-covers were not in great condition or probably would have asked more. I had them for about 20 years. What got me to thinking about them was your short on sell Barbie NOW-they sold in a week-thanks for the tip Kevin 😊
I just started reselling on ebay regularly again for the first time in 10 year. I sold a miniature Nantucket basket for $60 last week. ROI was pretty good lol 😉because I only paid $1.00 for it at habitat for humanity. I WAS STOKED to say the least! ~Cheers from South Carolina ✨
I picked up four PEZ for $5 not knowing much about them. I ended up selling one of them for $300 and another for $260. They ended up being vintage rare rubber headed monster PEZ. I learned a lot about PEZ that day! It was a total fluke.
Good morning, Kevin. I miss going to garage/estate sales. Still recovering from knee replacement 😊. The Veteran was sweet and you were to him. They are special folks. What issue do you have with your back? I don’t remember if you said. I can sympathize with you. You and Dave seem to be having a great time picking and meeting other pickers & local folks. Have a great weekend. 😀
The quilt looked like a Sunbonnet Sue quilt from the same Era as the Holly Hobby items. I believe they sell for about $30 to 45 on ebay in good condition. Those were homemade items, so there are probably a lot more of those than the Holly Hobby which were either store bought or made from trademarked fabric, So I would expect a Holly Hobby item to be worth more (since less were likely made). Great video!
So sorry about your back! Haven't been to a sale in years! Got the Arthur Ritis and it's crippling 😢 But I love all of your finds! Praying that you find that Taylor Swift one🙏😇💙...next...time 😊
I just sold an Apple (the computer Co.) engineering prototype airport WiFi card from 1999, it sold for $380. Thats been my greatest sale of the year so far, I found it inside a crate that came in an auction that I won
Old Boy stopped talking pretty quick when he said he did three trips to Korea on the warship. A rush of memories he didn't feel like discussing. I don't blame him one bit.
My next-door neighbor sold her house and had a rolloff dumpster brought in and we’re tossing out all types of items. So far I’ve sold about $500 worth of stuff out of there, and kept about $500 of stuff that I want for my own use. All for cost.
I picked up a 1975 Wallace Berrie 3 inch plush owl at the 127 sale for a dollar and it sold for 45 dollars within hours of listing. My best find was a Waterford crystal whiskey glass from a Thrift store for 25 cents that sold for 45 dollars.
Last great yard sale find was a 3DS/DS games Lot with a Gameboy SP system with Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright sealed and all the other Layton games for $50. Last great sale was a Jumbo Bear in the Big Blue House Plush for $100.
Good morning KEVIN... Been watching for awhile while recovering from knee infection and back surgery... Sorry your back was hurting.. Prayers for a quick recovery,!
Your videos are the best! I've learned so much from you. Thank you. My latest best find was an All Clad fish skillet for $3. It should sell for around $65. It is in great condition.
I picked up a video disk machine and handful of movies for 20 bucks a few weeks back. Machine works but needs a new drive belt. Watched side 1 of the first disk of Superman on it. Pretty cool
I don’t ever buy cds but yesterday I found a lot of rock/punk cds and my gut told me to go for it. I only comped a few but already found one that will make all my money back. It’s fun to try new things and see what we can learn. I never would have thought to grab Taylor Swift either.
Hello Kevin & Some Of My Favorite Pickers 🥰 That 80's Fannypack Dave 🔥🔥 Yayyyyy For Newengland 🙌🏽🙌🏽🥳🥳 Yard Sales & Tag Sales 🎊🎊🎊 #Massachusetts 😉 Great Pick Ups!!
I will leave a comment but I enjoy watching you so much you just go in to everything you are so smart and I really enjoy it keep up the good work God bless you and stay safe
Great video, you and Dave made some great buys! the last sell I had was a Kentucky Wildcats Nike Snap Back Mesh Baseball Cap Hat Trucker (New Other) !! all my sales are great, because it means I'm making money!! lol Thanks!!
Do you have a video about shipping label printers/recommendations? Also how do you ship single hats? I find them the most frustrating thing to ship....
Found a set of night vision binoculars yesterday for 4 bucks and 1 sold already for 70 plus shipping. Not to to crazy but 2 into 70 easy pack and shipping ill take it all day
HowI ronic… That you had the CED video disc movies on todays show! I swear, honest to God…. I just came home from a Goodwill here in Oklahoma City and they had about 20 of these hard plastic discs, I actually picked them up and they had them with the vinyl albums and I honestly didn’t know what they were and I thought it may be an album inside and I couldn’t figure out how to open it… So it’s an actual video… hmmm interesting! I guess I’m going t run back over there now! I remember they had Red Dawn. They had an Elvis one. I think they could’ve had Puff the magic dragon or one of those old cartoons movies too.. LOL, I guess I just assumed because they were with the vinyl albums that they were a soundtrack or something
I just picked up some Nagel prints at a yard sale for a great deal. I would not have known about them but you had a video a while back where you picked one up. Thank you!!
Found several Roden and Fields cosmetics, lotions etc. 1 eyelash serum brought over $50 on a $2 purchase. Never heard of the brand before. BOLO For them. Hope your back is better. Ever try dry needling? I'm going to have it done.
I bought a lot of sterling silver charms, but one wasn't silver, it was 10kt gold! My favorite thing I saw you pick was a person, the US Navy vet. The Korean Police Action, as they called it, was terrible in all ways. He's pretty old now, in his 90s at the very least, but, nonetheless, out there in the heat meeting people and selling stuff. Good for him! I hope he lives as long as he desires.
Kevin have you tried inverting table? I love mine since I fell off horse in my 30’s compressed spine (lucky to be alive & not paralyzed) it helps my sciatica too. Check with doctor 🤔
You mentioned Taylor swifts first cd in this episode. I showed the comps to my wife 4 weeks ago, she walks out to the garage and finds hers and it sell within a day or 2. Since then I’ve wasted time at every sale I’ve been to and no dice. Almost wish I never would’ve sold 1 cause now I can’t stop looking!
My last decent find was a Farberware 12" electric skillet for $5, they're going for around $40. The market for pots and pans is down right now. My guess is it's summer and no one is cooking inside, it'll come back.
Don't ignore the back pain. I pushed through it for years and am now diagnosed with spinal stenosis and multiple disc issues. Should have treated it immediately. Now I may never walk the same again, if I'm lucky enough to be walking in five.
Found an original copy of 'Bad Fur Day' for nintendo 64 and only paid $15 for it with comps of $100-130 was pretty excited when I found out how much they were going for
Do you have a video that has recommendations about shipping label makers? I sell NASCAR die-cast and memorabilia. Love your channel and I feel like I am way overdue for an upgrade. Would love to be directed to your thoughts.

Lol, your comment when you Jay walked - Barney's gonna come get me. How many people do you think know who you're talking about? I do! I do!!
I do.. Fife
That old Veteran at 11:00, what a guy, I guess he's seen a lot of stuff he does not want to see again, bless him for his service. I would have to buy from him.
He reminded me of my daddy who also fought in Korea. I would have bought his whole sale just because! ❤
Reminded me of my father also, wish he had said what ship he was on. My father fought in Korea also and was on the the USS Healy..
Awesome video, loved the conversation with Korean War vet.
Bout two weeks ago I picked up one of them Olympus superzoom 300 cameras in a box lot at an auction . Not worth a lot.

“I owed him way more than I paid him.”
It’s so true. They gave so much. The debt can never be repaid.
