You guys missed a Vintage Betsy McCall 8 inch doll in a Girl Scout outfit on the table in the first yard sale. They go for $50 to $200. Also, why don't you go to Salvation Army's? They do more for the homeless and inner-cities and their CEO's are not paid as much as Good Will's.
Love it, but please stop paying more than a seller is asking. It’s not your job to educate someone about what they have. Don’t feel bad about coming up on a steal or deal. People have it in their yard sale because they don’t want it anymore. Their loss is your gain. There’s no bad karma there. You paid what they asked
It's better for them to do this if they choose to. It shows integrity, and if they go back in the future, the sellers may give them deals ,because they can trust them to be honest.
