Matt….. in the cycling community the first thing that has to be trashed on a new bike is the “dork disk”/spoke protector. It’s the equivalent of you de-badging everything or de-nibbling your tires. I am shocked your bike shop even installed it. If it were on an entry level bike, I would let it slide. However on your S-Works Crux, not a chance 😬. Sure it’s likely a requirement to do so, but most “forget” to install it. Regardless, that thing has go to go! The glare off it in the video was blinding while Mike was installing the Proslat in the corner of the garage. Thanks for the great content. Keep living the dream!

I didn't have a choice but to mount my TV above the mantel. I got a Mantel Mount, which has a hydraulic arm that pulls down to eye level. Highly recommend for anyone who has to do the same.
No 🎙️ for 🎥 man Mike yet. Well I’m that guy with the tv 📺 over the mantle. Sometimes you just don’t have a choice. There is no where else to put it. But you wouldn’t understand. Because you would just tear down the entire house and rebuilt it just to move the tv. 💸😉
@@ObsessedGarage I figured you would say that. Unfortunately we live in the country and power in the winter not always available so sometimes we have to heat the house with wood burning. But if I did not need it then yes it would be gone it takes up my only wall option.

What model is the TV? It looks like it has a QD-OLED panel, which has raised black levels due to all of the ambient light, which causes the purple hue.
As a technician those drawers give me anxeity. Will never find what you are looking for. Better to have foam inserts that fit the few tools you actually needs.

Not much going on at this stage as it’s just slatwall install which is very repetitive. These things ebb and flow. Sometimes there’s a lot, other times not. We just aim to share as much authentically as we can. Thanks!

Pretty nuts how big this garage looks, even with the wall addition!

Unfortunately, some home designs don't give you an option of not mounting above a fireplace.
Matt actually did something like that in the last house too.

Looking good. Now that you have all of those nice built ins, I can come get that Red roller box out of your way, lol.
I’ll sell it to you cheap.
Matt. I did not see the location sockets. That garage is looking great. I’m happy for you. 👍🏻👍🏻also great team that you have.
I’d been happy with just the garage, floor and lights. Drizzle dodging today 😤
Would not a laser been a big help in keeping the slat wall even. Specifically behind that cabinet.
Cars and BBQ for the win 🎉!!
Who didn't plan the blocking for the TV?
No need for blocking when Matt can find the elusive bracket stretcher. Available soon on the OG store.
There is no need for blocking when you have wooden studs. I just had an old bracket.
The upper cabinets really complete the array! When’s Mike W. getting a mic?
The standard for tv height is bottom of tv at eye level
Center of TV at eye level according to professional TV installers
Nope, eyes in the center.
