    After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways.
    In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning.
    However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures.
    While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies).
    When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them.
    When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.

    Thanks for the informative video. I do have a question. If I buy the park entry ticket WITH an area pass for Nintendo World through Klook, will I be able to get an additional area pass from the USJ app once I'm at the park?

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад +1

      The ability to buy area passes prior to going into the park is fairly new but From what I can tell, I don't think you can get an additional one since it will be tied into your App. You can try though!

    How flexible are they on the timed express tickets. Say if you show up 10 mins late? 20mins?

    Hi there, I be at USJ on March 13 (Monday) not sure will it be crowded ... I bought the ticket online and didn't realize there is a advance booking of timed ticket.. I've check the park will be open at 8.30am and we plan to be there early (with kids) ... In your experience, what are the chances that we will not be able to obtain a Area Timed entry ticket to the Super Nintendo World? I'm so worry to get disappointed with my kids if we can't enter SNW

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад +1

      If you end up going at 8:30, when the park opens, just go directly to SNW. As long as you go there first thing, you should definitely be able to get some timed entry tickets. Arrive a bit before 8:30, when we were there, they let us in before opening time. 👍

      If getting an express pass, try to buy it at minimum a week before. If just for the normal daily USJ ticket, you can buy the day before. The price of the express pass increases as the days get closer

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      Definitely go for Mario Kart as early as possible. The other ride, Yoshi's Adventure, is a much more reasonable line. So you can do that afterwards.

    Do you know which merch shop inside Super Mario World have the power up band? In the recent video I saw from other park goers there's a long line for those carts outside of the world. I want to get into the area asap when the park first open.

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад +1

      Inside the world, I believe you can still buy it inside. But I didn't see exactly where. The best was grabbing a band outside the world because there are multiple stands.

    what kind of ticket or annual pass do i need to keep coming back.

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      they do have annual passes if you want to come back more thank once.
      Universal Prime Annual Pass Grand Royal ¥48,800
      Universal Prime Annual Pass Standard ¥20,000
      The Universal Prime Pass Standard is worth considering if you want to visit for more than 3 days and the Grand Royal pass if you want to visit for more than 5 days a year.

    do you have to buy USJ ticket to get into Super Nintendo World Japan?

  • @chewy277
    @chewy277 Год назад +1

    I thought if you have express pass you don’t need to get area entry timed ticket. Am I right??

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      That is correct! But getting an additional area pass gives you more flexibility on your trip to leave and come back at your leisure. Nintendo world is so amazing that it would be unfortunate if you had to leave to see the rest of the park and missed out on some games.

    • @mikie0307

    • @mikie0307

      We actually did not order the express pass. We went on a weekday and came early. But if you don't want to rush into the park, definitely get an express pass. It guarantees you entrance into Nintendo World.

    I'm going to USJ in February, do you reckon the area timed/ride passes are still needed in winter/quiet seasons?

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      If during the weekday, definitely less necessary to get. The crowd schedule is very green in February. Now if on the weekend, I do suggest still getting area passes. Hope this helps!

    Hi Mikie, I'm trying to book/buy a ticket for my trip on April but I got confused when I used the app.
    if I get a 1 day studio Pass , can we visit the SNW or do we still need to purchase another pass at the USJ? thank you

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      Yes you can visit but you'll have to make sure you get there early to get a timed entry ticket. But if you want to guarantee you get in without worrying about rushing to get the entry ticket, you can purchase another pass (express pass)

    Hey, thanks for this video. I’m from England and going to Japan last week of March and first week of April. I’m trying to book the express pass online but don’t know if it is too early. Do you know how far in advance you can book them? Thanks :)

    • @mikie0307
      @mikie0307  Год назад

      Sorry for getting back a bit late. I believe you can book them as early as you want. No harm in waiting until a month before you go. The price shouldn't change up until then.
