like you said there might be future introductions to other franchises - which there should be considering it's called Super Nintendo World and not Super Mario World. Apart from Donkey Kong in a couple years do you have any further information on when they might be expanding it to include more franchises if it's initial run is successful?
It really is like stepping into your childhood. I think the upcoming DK section of the park will help round things out even more and give at least one more big ride.
This was during the tec rehearsal. Of course, as with Hogwarts, once the park is too busy you need to get a timed ticket to go in. That way they can limit “thousands” of visitors to a more manageable number. I assume during the pandemic that number will be tighter too.
In regards to Mariokart im pretty sure Nintendo specified that there needed to be interactivity on the ride. Because of this its pretty much forced the ride into being what it is with its slower pace. Its essentially impossible to make a fast ride with the theming and interactivity something like Mariokart demands. Also a 5 minute ride is pretty great as far as theme park rides go. Rides are very rarely longer than that when theres any amount of theming involved. Feel like if the land opened with DK area it'd be perfect but am still VERY much looking forward to visiting.
If anyone is calling Nintendo an idiot for opening this so early, don't. Their main reasoning is to inspire Nintendo fans at home and in the field of science to work harder and faster to resolve the pandemic, so the park is kinda being used as a reward for solving our worries and enabling travel once more. All I can say on this is that it's a noble inspiration and hopefully an inspiration to everyone who sees this Mario would probably say "Let's-a-go get-a the vaccine!"
The Coronavirus may seem like the final boss, but it's a trick! Even if you get the vaccine from defeating it, America will still be locked down. Joe Biden is the true final boss who holds the key to the country. If you can defeat him, you will terminate the lockdown and allow America to go back to normal again. This will give you the best ending. The game usually takes 8 levels that span 8 years to complete, but if you're a speedrunner and want to beat the game with the best ending quickly there is a way to do so. At the end of level 4 there are two differently colored doors that you must choose to go through. There is a red door, and a blue door. The blue door may seem tempting but it's a trick, and if you go through it it will take you to level 5 and you will have to keep playing to level 8. The red door is the right one as it takes you to Biden's lair in level 4 and will allow you to beat the game with the best ending.
@@mr.fearingtoon3549 *sigh* really? You had to bring politics and Joe Biden into a video about an innocent theme park? BEGONE! YOU DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD, POLITICS!

If they want Nintendo world to expand with more ideas and people, they need, NEED, to make an attraction for all three Donkey Kong Country games. I, LOVED those games as a kid and still play them from time to time.
Wow, Gamexplain doing a review of an amusement park is something I thought i would never see! Now Nintendo just needs to make their personal hotels and restaurants (NOT associated to the park) and I would love to see how those rate up.

Been there a couple days ago in Ōsaka. Will definitely go back there when I return in the future (I usually go to Japan on a regular basis). Everything said here is pretty spot on. As for the music, very nice and almost unexpected surprises I heard (Galaxy 2 and Double Dash!). All beautiful remixes. My only big “complaint” is that during the Mario Kart ride, you’re very focused on the AR gameplay and so you can very easily miss the decor and animatronics behind it, and thus not be able to appreciate them fully - unlike the Yoshi ride, which I liked as well. Having said that, I’m not sure how else the experience could’ve been made better. Plus, the technology will evolve, as well as the ride itself, according to Universal and Nintendo. Bottom line: a wholesome experience overall ❤️
Hollywood has such little space that they only have Mario Kart and no DK expansion, but Orlando has so much room I expect after a couple years more Nintendo lands (Pokemon, Zelda) may appear
I was suppose to go to Japan last year and had this on my go to places. But I decided not to go because of logistics issues related to Covid. Not that I had it but didn’t feel like staying in a hotel for 2 weeks. However this amusement park looks amazing and I love the fact gamers put dedication into it where they brought it to life through their passion.
As a USJ pass holder since 2016 I was very excited for this area and watched its construction from the top of rollercoasters! The immersion itself is very high and I loved walking around the area and seeing all the details. The yoshi attraction was fun to take pictures from and for a nice little rest. But I am still disappointed by the mario kart attraction. I don't know…I just expected more? The speed is slow which is okay but the ride experience itself was not up to standard for me. I didn't realize non-Mario attractions were planned. I wonder if we'll get Metroid laser tag, a shooting gallery with Link's bow and riding epona. Though frankly, it seems like the "sucked into another world" vibe is more important than the attractions themselves. So maybe a focused stroll through Jungle Japes will always win out over splatoon super soakers.
In some places depending of the angle or observationg they should've placed the rotating coins closer to the bricks, so you wouldn't see the bar under them turning. Lack in details like that break the illusion.
Imagine a complete park. Hyrule land, Donkey Kong world, Samus vs Starfox Galaxy, Pikman Mini world, Underwater Splatoon City, Wario's Golden Goldmine, Luigis mansion(the original name is fine.) So much more.
