Covering an entire album presents challenges. Covering an entire Rush album, presents many challenges. Nice job learning this ostinato pattern. The fact that you can replicate the synthetic tones of Neil's kit, is impressive. He had so many variations. That Roland trigger pad sure comes in handy for such tasks. L17. You emulate Neil's drumming style well, though he did wear shoes while drumming-- Ballet shoes, I believe. 😊😊😊

@@precisepercussion I heard they were wrestling shoes, though I might be confusing Peart with Weckl in that instance. Glad you dug the covers, thanks!

Love the “PAAAAHHH”! 😁👍 You’ve done a magnificent job with this mate. Getting all the “beeps and boops” as you once described them on my channel in, and all in the right place, must have taken a LOT of work and time. Well done Myke👍🤘🤘

@@deantalbotdrums Thanks very much, Dean! The biggest challenge was figuring out what sound went where and then trouble-shooting the process until I found a way to physically do it comfortably. “Emotion Detector” was the biggest challenge of the Power Windows stuff. I start Massive Attack’s Mezzanine album tomorrow, and it’s the same process but taken further. I hope you’ll enjoy it!

@@MykeLewisMusic really? Of all their songs, this one? Not that it's a bad song. But, seems to me they had some pretty good stuff prior to this

The first Rush album I got was Chronicles (a 2-disc "best of"). On the second disc, they had the live version from A Show of Hands, and it was the song I found most interesting in terms of the sonic palette (I LOVE 80s keyboards). I bought A Show of Hands next, and after that it was either Counterparts or Signals, can't remember. Either way, I now own all of it, more or less.
