actually Chris in the first studio update explained how he recorded vocals and what he use on stage, is a harmonizer, they guys from BVTV that have recording their shows from the main console board also stated the same...harmonizer works with screams too, the only effect that doesn't recognize screams pitch is the auto tuner..

The echo effect is something that many venues put on every vocalist to make their venues sound like they are better acoustically treated than they actually are. If you've never noticed it at a show before, you mustn't have been paying attention. It has nothing to do with the performer's choice of sound.

No... because the a harmonizer adds a second, different pitch, but what's happening in the video is a chorus effect where the pitch is slightly delayed to put in a "doubling" effect on his voice. That's literally how a harmonizer and a chorus effect work, they must have misspoke or they don't know what effects they're using.
