Love that green. It's nice to see someone wrap the jambs. I have seen so many wrap videos where they just wrap what is showing. How long would a wrap last in cold weather. I live in New Hampshire. Ice snow and salt on the roads
Hey! Thanks for watching! In your area, salt is the main enemy. In our area here in Oklahoma we tell people wraps will last 5-7 years with proper care on a daily driven vehicle. Even longer on a garage queen. I would say about the same in your area but you would need to make sure to wash the salt off asap. If you keep your wrap clean and not baking in the sun for days or weeks on end it will last. Last note would be to ceramic coat the vinyl afterwards that will greatly help!

Looks great, and I know this takes a lot of time to do it right. The question I have is someone mentioned in comments that this was $10,000 possibly. That seems like a lot of money to change the color of your truck with a wrap that eventually will not last? I would have just bought a blue truck or if I had to change it to Blue take it to a paint shop and let them repaint it maybe for $10,000? The rap does look great!
It’s a massive job. All depends on vehicle and the extent to how much we do and the PPF chosen.

I have an "05 Dodge truck with oxidation on the hood and roof. Can this be wrapped? I'd like an unbiased opinion. Thanks
Thanks so much for watching! To answer your question, oxidation needs to be removed prior to vinyl going on, but oxidation is a fairly easy thing to remove with a product called Ghost Off.
some of our clients confuse oxidation with clear failing clear coat also, and if you have failing clear coat that is flaking off the those areas would need to be sanded smooth before applying vinyl to ensure a smooth finish.

It all depends on what shop you go to, I would certainly look at reviews and comments to ensure clients are normally happy
