Robert Cheney No. We are peacocking for women, status, work, ambition, and the need to display a serious work ethic. Have you seen how people present themselves in the world?
Alberto Gutierrez, of course I have seen how people present themselves. The vast majority can little afford to feed themselves and their families, let alone parading around in ridiculous ‘finery’ pretending to make the world a better place. You all need to pull your heads out of wherever you’ve shoved them and get a life!
Robert Cheney I come from poverty that you can't imagine. My grandmother once told me just because you are poor, it does not mean you can't be well kept and maintain a tidy house. She sweeped the dirt floor every day. My mother started picking coffee at the age of 13 to make ends meet. She provided for three of her other sisters. There was no man in my immediate family. That ethic was valuable, especially when I immigrated to the United States. My comment was about here in America, where you can buy a used fifteen dollar suit, and save a little bit to make alterations. I dress every day for my business. The suit gives me a tremendous sense of responsibility and care for the poor. It humbles me, because I know what poor people go through. I am from Central America, so please don't preach to the choir. I know and I have been there.
😍😍😍
