    What I didn't make clear in the video is that when I switch them over to my KTM, I will need to get a different EZ-can as they are manufacturer specific.

    They really have it worked out, almost idiot proof which is great. I went with the heal tech module after watching Andy Man Cam install it and it works simpler than the Hex ezcan. My lights are not the Denali but man they do through light when I go to work at night. Hello from a snowy Northern Ontario Canada.

      Hi guys! I'm interested in fitting some Denali S4 lights to my 2016 CRF1000L. I want to use the denali or SW motech frame mount rather than crashbar clamps. I was wondering if any of you can confirm if it will interfere with the stock crash bar. I can't really find any info on that. So can you explain which mount you used and which crashbar you have? Thanks in advance!

    Good video, and this confirmed my suspicion of needing the extension leads for the lights. I have a set of the D4's to put onto mine. Also I am considering getting a set of the D3 Fog lights with amber lenses for when I encounter fog or heavy rain, especially at night. I ride in all conditions and also I have a ton of wildlife here to be on the lookout for at night especially including big ones like moose so extra light is a good thing to have.

    Hello , thanks for this Nice vidéo 👍
    I’am also looking to upgrade my Africa twin 2023 with those items , but I m a little bit confuse with the spare parts of ez can , and and I won’t order the wrong items ,
    So you have a list of all your products parts number so that I don’t make a mistake : I live in France and if it’s not correct by the first time it will be complicate ..
    sw-motech mounting bar impress me a lot nice and clean , I’ve found it but what is your experience with only one bolt for the fixation? Any issue?
    And at the end what kind of steering knobs are you using for switching the light .. also item number please 🙏..
    I was adding almost all together, and is quite expansive around 800-1000€ all together correct?
    But the result is amazing 👍👍
    Thanks for reading my post and depending on which time your are reading it , nice start in 2024🍾🍾🍾

      The SW-Motech bar is nice and solid, it only has one bolt, but the bracket fixes securely around the frame. Once the EZcan is fitted the lights are operated through the stock controls. If you go to 'A Bike Thing' you can put together bundles whic makes things cheaper. For example the kits with the parts i've used is under £600 abikething.com/product/denali-s4-bundle-honda-crf1100l-africa-twin-adventure-sports-20-22/

    So with the day and night intensity how does the ez can know when it’s day and night so to adjust between day and night for brightness. I have put the D4s on

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  Год назад

      The ezCAN takes the ambient light reading from the ECU. It’s the reading that changes the tft display from light to dark

    • @robames4
      @robames4 Год назад

      @@mancavemoto so basically your say this uses the the power from the tft screen to change the light intensity for the spotlights but would I need to have a certain headlight so it changes with this from day to night

    • @mancavemoto
      @mancavemoto  Год назад

      Essentially yes, many modern bikes Will have a sensor to automatically switch the display from light to dark or day to night, this is what the EZCAN uses to control the light output between the two.

    • @myronhorvathsk
      @myronhorvathsk Год назад

      @@robames4 The Africa Twin has an ambient light sensor in it's main display, the small one below the TFT display. This sensor monitors the ambient light and controls when the bike switches from DRL to headlights, also it is what will change the TFT display from daytime mode to night time mode. The ez-Can unit reads the signal from the ambient light sensor to adjust the output of the Denali lights to what you set them to run at for light intensity during the day and night.

    Denali, the most expensive lights you can put on your bike. Vastly overpriced. The Hex ez-CAN, I tried a year ago. Confusing instructions and out of date documentation and then a device that failed after two weeks. The replacement I was sent then failed again. In the end I gave up on it and went another route.
