The TV SHOW is the longest running TV programme in the world hosted by one and the same presenter.
The show has been a household name in the Netherlands for nearly forty years, with millions of viewers every week, a market share of over 30%, and airing on Channel One at prime time.
In 1981, presenter Ivo Niehe started his TV SHOW. From the very start, it was a much talked-about show, in which he interviewed celebrities and remarkable people at the studio.
Numerous world-famous stars came to the Netherlands especially to be on his show.
Today, the show is almost entirely made on location.
Ivo visits his guests at their homes or at locations that have special meaning to them. For over 35 years, many celebrities and interesting personalities have opened their doors to this unique show.The TV SHOW distinguishes itself from other interview programmes, if only by the length of the items.
Every interview is edited, using atmospheric shots, photo material and archive footage, to an extensive, 20 to 30-minute long, TV portrait. The result is more than just your average interview.
