Don't worry, a lot of Mexicans speak good English. But, to be fair, not all like to talk to "some tourists" because we understand the giggling about the US being significantly richer than us and the obvious consequences of that economic fact. Indeed, Mexico is not an advanced society. However, as a member of the G20 is a developed country like most of Europe. The real question should be, why most of the people on planet earth can't escape poverty? A country might be richer than others, but that does not mean that in that way is better or worse (Like your family in law). Nevertheless, don't forget that you're no longer a tourist!

I have been coming to Mexico, mainly Acapulco since 1962. I do speak Spanish as a second language. I moved permanently to Queretaro, Mexico on 11-2-2021 at 79
. I moved because of the deadly crimes and the rents, utilities etc. taking almost all of my retirement income. It is safer, beautiful and cleaner here, and $850 per month less expensive.
There is not any shortage or limits on food, and I use home delivery, as I did in the USA
. I use Amazon-Mexico to order the foods, that i miss from the USA, and are not sold here. Grits, Louisiana hot sauce, Hormel Beef tamales, Libby's Corn Beef hash, Red chili flakes, and Campbell's chicken noodle soup.. Pork is all that I do not eat, and I cook 99% of my food.
Butterball has the best turkey bacon! The earthquakes were the deal breakers for Acapulco, but I will always love her.
Grilled Red Snapper and Pollo Felez are my favorite foods, that I order for take out.
My apartment has a fantastic view of all of Queretaro, all utilities and WiFi, maid service, and 100% furnished with everything, and a beloved king size bed, like at home.
I am working on my temp retirement visa, since I did get 180 days, but at this age, I do not want to do visa runs, and never know how many days I will get. It is better, if you can to get the temp retirement visa.
God bless the world, and please behave. Hands are for helping and not hurting. Put a d before anger, and you get deadly danger. Do not argue! No one can ride your back, unless you bend over. Only the strong survives. Treat everyone, the way you want to be treated. Karma never loses an address, and we will reap what we have sown.
    DO THE RIGHT THING ALWAYS!

I can absolutely relate to your birth story in mexico; I couldn’t get an epidural either because it was too late when the anesthesiologist arrived. And I remember so well the doctor telling me “you can do it, millons of women give birth everyday, you can do it also”...... I just thought that yeah, like it is a competition or what!?! The worst pain of my life, but followed by the greatest joy of my life as soon as I saw my healthy beautiful baby boy.

I am from Mexico and I had my first baby there, it was a horrific experience it was meant to be a c section and my baby and I almost died, they literally pull the baby out of me, that kept me from not getting pregnant again for 15 years 🤣🤣. Then I got pregnant in USA and had an awesome experience (of course a c section).

Skin to skin is a fraud they charge you $40 bucks to hug your own kid.
Probably you was a little far from Puebla city and the anesthesiologist was the only one in town.

Hola!

I think the skin to skin isn't just a USA thing. I had my 2 kids in Texas and they did just what they did with Dominic, cleaned them up and tended to them. I think it's probably a region / hospital thing. They were both great and I didn't even realize it didn't happen(skin to skin).

Good to hear all went well. My question is about diet in US vs Mexico. It seems from the videos of your family, your diets are healthier in Mexico. Please discuss that and if you feel you got to enjoy all your "cravings". God bless the beautiful familia.

I too, am the wife of a deportee... In the state of Chihuahua. I have been trying to find out- (with difficulty) about health insurance in Mexico- for U.S. citizens. I have numerous health issues and have had to go to Texas for treatments. This is depressing being seperated from my husband. I couldn't get Seguro Popular either, not being Mexican. Paying out of pocket is not an option. Are you going to try to get Mexican residency legally? Would you recomend it for someone in our situation? I love your videos.

I would have been so upset waiting what 6 hours or more than not getting it at all. I was so lucky. Both times I had to get pitocon my Drs didn't run it until epidural was placed....I only last about 15 minutes from 2c to 10c with it

Once giving birth to Dominic did you go to the U.S consultation for his dual citizenship? Also is there any parent requirements that Dominic need from you guys for the dual citizenship ? Does it matter if one parent is U.S citizen and your husband is not?

I had two in Mexico and 2 in the US . Very big difference. So it was a great experience when I had my third one in Texas . My first delivery was not so good . It was an emergency c section 😔 but it didn’t matter I had my baby boy (now 28 ) with me . …. Just saw your videos on Tic Tok today . Love your story
