RS GamerBoyHD 1st Robin: Dick Grayson. The guy we all know and love, he grows up as Robin and leaves to Bludhaven to become Nightwing. 2nd Robin: Jason Todd. Joker kills him and Ras al Ghul brings him back to life; however, Jason becomes the Red Hood instead of returning to Batman as Robin. (Batman: Arkham Knight is a variation of Red Hood's origin story. If you want Jason's true story, watch Under the Red Hood. It's pretty awesome.) 3rd Robin: Tim Drake. To the best of my knowledge, his story is similar to Grayson's, Tim remains Robin until he grows up and becomes Red Robin. (Which, was one of Robin's skins in Arkham City) In some story lines, the 4th Robin is Damien Wayne, son of Bruce and Talia al Ghul. I don't know how much of that you already knew, but I thought it might help either way. :)
I mean tbh Batman thought Jason died and Jason at the time died a long time ago so it wouldn't make sense but I'm not saying it wasn't obvious that it was Jason but whatever
Kasumi San Yeah , I was pretty disappointed because they called him an all new character. He was really easy to figure out as well , Jason was my first guess based on the fact he knows Batman down to his armor design and talks very informally where I expected him to talk in a very militaristic way and that was all it took for a guess. I was 95% sure Jason Todd , 5% thinking Damian Wayne but they didn't show anything about Talia prior so I was sure it was Jason. Great game overall though *edit , good game overall*
That was different however; Bruce fought Jason as The Red Hood a few times before he figured it out, and gathered clues as they did, such as Jason's fighting style, voice, etc, while also having plenty of time to investigate and even then it wasn't until the end. In Arkham Knight, Bruce and Jason rarely actually fought in person, instead Bruce fighting a bunch of the Militia instead, and Jason's helmet changed his voice as well, along with Bruce having to fight a war in Gotham without any chance to investigate into the Arkham Knight's real identity.
no one here seems to understand. the twist with jason todd is never about the reveal, so the fact everyone could guess before it happened isnt relavent. +Speedy bird ...What? Jason didn't become the Red Hood until after the main story. Also, if his identity wasn't supposed to be a twist, then why did they wait so long and try to drag out this BS mystery? Outside of a more interesting backstory with being tortured by Joker, they handled Jason poorly in this game. He doesn't even have a story arc. He gets into a scuffle with Batman, disappears, and then suddenly decides to save him for whatever reason and he's never heard from again.
+Mr Grape Soda The only thing they show you about Jason after the main story is his DLC which is just him as Red Hood stopping some of Black Mask's thugs.
Speedy bird Yeah, I’m calling bullshit on this. If that were the case, someone would’ve suggested it in game before the reveal. Like they get some of Arkham Knight’s DNA at one point and Batman tells Alfred to put it through a scanner and the results show up as Jason. But a moment like that doesn’t happen. Instead, it’s a lackluster reveal, even though the shots and dialogue suggest it’s supposed to be the climax of the entire story.
Loved this games story but oh my fucking god the bat mobile was shoved down our throats. And the deathstroke boss was possibly the biggest disappointment ever. The Jason Todd reveal was a little too on the nose. But overall still loved this game
This would have been perfect for a "Captain America vs. Winter Soldier" Type of battle. I would've the sniping/stealth part. but I would also bring in the tough hand to hand combat to go with it.
I’m a big defender of this game, my favorite in the series. But I can’t defend this “twist” that was obvious a year before he game came out and confirmed early in the game with the joker/Robin flashbacks
I'm not going to lie... I was super excited when I saw the BatMobile get crushed, I was like "YESSSS MAYBE I DONT HAVE TO GET BACK IN THAT CRAP FOR THE REST OF THE GAME"

+esther leslie Actually Jason never died in this game which is kinda weird. He got captured by the Joker and then Joker lied to Batman that he had killed Jason and then Jason was tortured for over a year but eventually escaped and vowed to get revenge on Batman.Tons of people knew it was Jason from the start but Rocksteady changed his story a little bit to try and throw us off on who the Arkham Knight really was.
I thought it was Jason when he said “so you still haven’t lost your touch” and he also says that in the animated Batman Under the Red Hood movie. Within about 30 mins of playing this game I knew his identity. I thought his boss fight was disappointing, would’ve rather a close range combat fight rather then some sniper shootout
Throughout the entire game up to this point I kept telling myself " It's not Jason, they said it was a brand new character, in collaboration with DC itself" Then this scene happens I still haven't touched game since
+BATEman420 why does Batman and for that matter everyone including superman have to have borderline personality disorder? Bruce Wayne is Batman until he hands off the cowl to someone else, Batman and Bruce Wayne aren't dual personalities, that's wesker and scarface.
Would have been cool to replicate the mr freeze battle in this boss fight. Having jason adapt to your every move and you would have to counter with something creative.

Although the Under The Red Hood fight is better in every way this one shows that with a game that just shows physical violence mostly, the main part is the psychological pain, which can hurt a lot
I had my suspicions about Jason being the Knight, but after Joker "killed" him I removed him from my list. What? He always was a Red Hood, I would never knew if they gonna give him another image.

He's grooving around Arkham in a wheelchair, sees his woman killed and blames Batman. But in her office, he finds the completed formula, takes it, and becomes evil Steve Rogers, 5x stronger & faster and swears vengeance. Heck, give him some DLC to show that he snuck in Arkham City and followed Batman around to kill him but was always 5 minutes too late. But really, I've put so much thought into "fixing" Knight that I realize it would have been better to just take the whole story back to formula.
For me it would've been better if the visions of Jason being beaten happened AFTER the reveal. By showing those beforehand, when Jason had never been mentioned, it spoiled it.
+TheApexPredator You know who should have been The Knight.........JHON CENA!!!!!!! oh wait the viper is coming watch out watch out watch out!!!! RKO OUTTA NOWHERE!!!!!!!
In my opinion it should have been Damian Wayne as the Arkham Knight because batman didn't want him as a son and wasn't impressed about him and he also thinks Batman is responsible for his mothers death(Talia Al Ghul in Arkham City) and Batman did not do anything to avenge his girlfriends death and Damian soon reveals that he was watching Batman in Arkham City and also he was grown up not a kid
thats a good story :-) everyone would of thought that it was Jason Todd under the mask but it is Damien all along... I read ages ago that Damien was supposed to be in a DLC but I guess not
1.damien Wayne doesn't exist in this universe. 2. If he did he would be like 10-15 3. Talia is not batman's girlfriend. 4. Jokers dead sooo he can't really avenge anything. 5. Damien Wayne is a stupid ass whinny brat that people hate more then ALL THE ROBINS (shown in a poll) so really it would have been a step back

Damien Wayne is a stupid ass whinny brat that people hate more then ALL THE ROBINS (shown in a poll) so really it would have been a step back. Also your source sucked
MadeForReasonsUnknown Was there a actual poll b/c last time I checked, he wasn't the Robin people voted to be killed off cough Jason Todd cough.... My favorite Robin by far will always be Dick but Damian is cool. All of the Robin's have contributed something to Batman stories at some point....
When jason was killed off it was a cheat, they found out some guy called the number more then like 70 times, and jason was chosen to be killed off by a very small percentage, so they decided to bring jason back as Red hood
Sure, the reveal was obvious, but I still kinda enjoyed the ride there (if Rocksteady had simply cut out a chunk of that damn tank battle filler and replaced it with something more team-combat oriented, like a more substantial Batman/Nightwing story section, the game would be a lot more fun). The Jason Todd scenes leading up to his reveal were excellent, as were the voice tapes between AK and Barbara revealing the broken man under the mask. Hell, by the end of Red Hood's Arkham Story (set after the game), I was craving a Jason Todd/Batman story DLC. Also, that Red Hood/Arkham Knight fusion costume is cool.
0:44 if that was my car. me: *comes home* my mom: hey where's the car? me: umm it's not here.... mom: well where is it? me: it got destroyed..... mom: *starts yelling* how? me: umm... let's just say the arkham knight doesent like me very much. mom:................ just wait till your dad gets home.... he paid good money for that car. x,D
It shoulda been Jim Gordon... at this scene, under the mask should have just been some nobody street thug, who starts laughing when he takes the mask off.. Batman is looking at him confused, wondering who he is.... and then Gordon starts saying something to Batman from the chair behind him, he starts talking about Barbara, and about how Batman ruined her life and his life.. and eventually reveals himself as the AK
I'm well versed in Batman, But I actually spent the majority of the game not knowing who he was. But when he called batman bruce is when I figured it out
I know this is old, but to be honest, I was actually surprised to find out it was Jason Todd. It was too obvious for me, I thought it would be a fake out.
Batman asks how many people jason has killed only for jason to pull off his face to reveal jason todd was just a mask and in actuality it was just DIO but knowing batman's extreme plot armor he would probably be able to immediately move in the stopped time while his stand is literally just himself
you guys say it's obvious but you guys don't explain why it's obvious and also this is a different universe so Batman wouldn't know who he was!!!!!!!!!
Thor's Hammer It's not b/c it's a different universe. It's because he thought he was dead. I have to also say that for those who have read the comics lore had a pretty good idea of who he actually was. It just made alot of sense. Him knowing things no one else would.
See if they really had just made the Arkham Knight that original character like they had stated earlier; like some older merc similar to Deathstroke, but instead of having a personal vendetta against the batman he pysches him out by tarnishing the reputation of the batman by impersonating him and killing gcpd and other innocents. Wage a psychological war against batman by breaking the people’s trust in him and the safety he provided
While I was disappointed it wasn't an original character, I'm ok with it being Todd. Who better to match Batman than a former Robin? But they could have done his redemption better. He does just seemingly disappear and then saves Bats. But, who knows, could have saved him to try and kill him later, just never got the chance. As he said, Bats was his. Also, the hallucinations, while serving as an intro to non-comic fans, were a dead giveaway. But I'll agree it wasn't the twist that was the best, it was the emotional depth. Bats had to watch two of his allies "die", causing untold guilt and grief, and here's one back from the dead trying to kill him. That had to play hell with his already hurting mind.
We know Jason was the Arkham Knight because of the comics and movies but Batman couldn’t figure it out because Joker showed him death nobody in that universe could’ve guessed that
When i played the game i never suspected Jason I thought he was dead i never saw those comics or movies when he came back I though jason died So i never knew he was the arkahm knight At first i thought Before he died Joker and Harley had a baby and he was the arkahm knight but when he said Batmans real name i HAD NO IDEA WHO THE AK WAS
Jason: He's still in my head!
Batman: (Stands up) DUDE SAME... OH SHIT
"You're crazy and wearing a mask, I'm crazy and wearing a mask. There's gotta be some Vigilantes Anonymous group therapy we can go to."
I just fell from my chair holy shit
3:56 when the red hood mask was revealed I got serious goosebumps.
Same here!
Dude same, as soon as i saw i knew shit got real
Well no wonder Jason Todd had a hard time trying to kill the Batman. He was wearing a mask over his other mask.
Good job leaving poor Alfred with a hundred fucking questions out of nowhere, Bats.

When revealing a character's identity, the usual aim of it is to get an emotional shock reaction for the protagonist. Anarky and any other character would never be able to shock Batman on that level.
Matt Graves There's a perfect candidate for all the criteria you mentioned that wasn't obvious garbage
Hush
Hush wouldn't make sense as he has no combat skills to match Batman's. All Hush is good at is his Doctor/medical skills.
Matt Graves He could easily just not fight him 1v1 or they could use the suit as an excuse for him being so strong
That would not make him a very good villain if he avoids fighting Batman one on one. And a villain is better if they rely on their own skills rather than making a suit that does everything for him.
Matt Graves Then Mr Freeze is a shitty villain by your logic
I love Jason Todd

One things for certain, Jason looks great as the red hood
What a terrible fight.
+Mr.Entertainment “Mr.E the second” 156 A lot of people cares actually.
Mr.Entertainment 156 you are no true batman fan this must be your only arkham game you played
@Mr.Entertainment 156 maybe the people who expected a good fight? Dumbass
I paid for the game and I have all the right to criticize what I bought. So shut up
The fight between Batman and Deathstroke was the best hand to hand combat fight. This one is like taking down a goon.
I Have To Admit Arkham Knights Suit Is Dope
Was there ever any doubt it was Jason? I mean come on, who else could it have been? This is basically the same story as Under The Hood
Ngl the stairway take down was to fire🔥🔥
Nice detail that his armor turns red as well.

I really love the video, you are installing a very nice game and sections, please continue I love this channel.
I like that you can see the redhood helmet underneath
0:49 RIP bat mobile
Jason is my favorite robin of all time
Sure, the reveal was obvious, but I still kinda enjoyed the ride there (if Rocksteady had simply cut out a chunk of that damn tank battle filler and replaced it with something more team-combat oriented, like a more substantial Batman/Nightwing story section, the game would be a lot more fun).
0:44 if that was my car.
me: *comes home*
my mom: hey where's the car?
me: umm it's not here....
mom: well where is it?
me: it got destroyed.....
mom: *starts yelling* how?
me: umm... let's just say the arkham knight doesent like me very much.
mom:................ just wait till your dad gets home.... he paid good money for that car.
Denny Kaleal
While I thought the ending to this game was great, I have to admit that's an interesting alternative plot.
Denny Kaleal that makes no sense at all
I'm well versed in Batman, But I actually spent the majority of the game not knowing who he was. But when he called batman bruce is when I figured it out
0:37 - 0:45 hurt me the most R.I.P og batmobile
I know this is old, but to be honest, I was actually surprised to find out it was Jason Todd. It was too obvious for me, I thought it would be a fake out.
0:38 i thought:" *FINALLY* "
when batman and jason todd fell it looked like lego bricls
I was shocked who it was underneath that mask. What really bothers me is how is he alive after joker shot him?
He was wearing his suit and Joker had a doctor fix him
Plot twist it was really dio
IT WAS I, DIO
Batman asks how many people jason has killed only for jason to pull off his face to reveal jason todd was just a mask and in actuality it was just DIO
but knowing batman's extreme plot armor he would probably be able to immediately move in the stopped time while his stand is literally just himself
Great video, also can you do more Sonya online in the future?
Thiago Taveira Yesss and thanks!
To quote Beast Boy in those teen titans go shorts "It's Jason Todd, isn't it."
That moment when you're kinda new to MsLara's channel and you find out she's from your country through a PS4 message :D
+Luuk Bos hahaha, hoi luuk

+MsLaraCroftx Je bent nederlands? jee!!
you guys say it's obvious but you guys don't explain why it's obvious and also this is a different universe so Batman wouldn't know who he was!!!!!!!!!
Thor's Hammer It's not b/c it's a different universe. It's because he thought he was dead. I have to also say that for those who have read the comics lore had a pretty good idea of who he actually was. It just made alot of sense. Him knowing things no one else would.
The game basically tells you that when it shows the Jason torture sequences.
When ark night brang thar gun I out I was like oh shit
I like how they are organized and trained unlike the rest of the thugs you fight.
Still think it should have been Hugo Strange. They could say the Tyger guys found his body and used the Lazarus pit or something, I dunno
We know Jason was the Arkham Knight because of the comics and movies but Batman couldn’t figure it out because Joker showed him death nobody in that universe could’ve guessed that
When i played the game i never suspected Jason I thought he was dead i never saw those comics or movies when he came back I though jason died So i never knew he was the arkahm knight At first i thought Before he died Joker and Harley had a baby and he was the arkahm knight but when he said Batmans real name i HAD NO IDEA WHO THE AK WAS
When he reveled his identity I didn't believe and even he should be the arckham knight he should be the red hood
3:13 me when my teacher says "this wont be on the test"
1:30 Me coming to revive my homie in Rust
