This is really clever ! I like it, when people outsmart the software to come up with an energy efficient result, that usually takes 10x to 20x more the time.
Yeah Sorry, you're so right... i did the mixing with the headset on and for some reason It was Good to me , but right now i can Hear the mess... i'll fix asap , thanks for the feedback
@@postshade1989Mixing tip from someone with a degree in sound: Go between both headphones and speakers when mixing, and make sure your headphones sound “neutral” (as in Dont mix with ones that artificially boost anything like bass)
Maybe people complaining about the music don't really care to learn new techniques. Great tutorial! I think a lot of people try to rely on existing features to make something look as realistic as possible, while in reality it's better to implement every hack possible to convey one's artistic vision. 3D tools will always be limited, no matter amount of samples:) It's awesome to find new ways to create these effects!
Wow, this is so simple yet incredibly clever. Ingenius, actually. The upcoming updates on your Blender Market page sound so, so good as well - what with foam simulation etc.. Can it create water motion that you'd expect to see in a swimming pool? So obviously not waves, but rather, pulsing peaks. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks a lot, man. Great work.
thank you for the appreciation :). Yeah actually i'm still working even on the surface noise in a way that you should be able to also simulate smooth wavy behavior like the One that happen in pools and more generale in closed small water container... I'll keep the Page updated any way when further function Will be implemented :). Thanks for asking
Great work! You came up with a solution for the water depth that is just amazing. Yes, the background music was a bit loud, but for me it wasn't an excuse for not appreciating your tutorial (I mean, you provided subtitles and beautiful views haha). Thank you!
Thanks so much for the tutorial. A couple suggestions. First, the dialog volume was a bit low and the piano music a bit too loud. I would just drop the piano music. Second, include a link to the Water FX shader in the text area. Thanks again!
thanks for the tutorial, could you do a future videos on 1080p? the reason is that the text on properties are hard to read but still can figure out the locations.
Yeah Sorry, i can understand, i'll upload the Caustics update tutorial in 1080p... Sadly my internet connection countryside where i live it's super slow when dealing with uploading stuff, so i tought 720p could've been enough ... I'll switch to 1080p :) (and maybe i'll get a Starlink connection ahahaha)
awesome tutorial!! You added a great feature but didn't utilise it... if you animate the fade amount to go up and down you can simulate the water level subtly rising and falling with waves
Thanks for the appreciation, yeah actually it's possibile and It's even possible to get a range of values for the water level, so you can also have different water levels in different point in space... Maybe in future i Will expand a Little the Depth section, but It's something that users can do plugging Dynamic values or function in the driver without the Need of create more pins and nodes that Will increase performance cost... As i said it's pretty flexible and you can customize the functionality :)
Yeah Sorry, i'm aware of the issue, i messed up with the mixing , next update i'll reupload a new tutorial with no music , for the Moment you can find a no music version in the video description
Amazing tutorial bro, thanks so much for this. Anyway, can you show me your PC build, I want to build a PC that can handle Blender just like the thing you did.
@@Desertsage Thank You for the appreciation , i still don't have an IG post shade specific account but i'm planning to do so , can you send me the link once done on the Blender Market? i would love to see the result . thanks again
Hello there :), Actually right now i'm working on implementing a base Caustics fx for the underwater environment , then i'll work on generic foam computation... It's not Easy to get something convincing with foam if you want to generate a coherent behavior , you should draw It using particle Vector velocity but here we are Just faking It... I'll get up with something for sure in near future anyway , thanks for asking :)
You're right guys, it's not the First complaint about the music ... I've uploaded a no music version if you Wish ruclips.net/video/2TwN1BnCBZ4/видео.html
Why this crappy sound in the background! That no one wants to hear! Too bad can not start with the tutorial, although I would have been interested in the topic.
Yeah , Sorry about that, you're right, i've got some trouble with mixing. I've uploaded a no music version you can find Here or in the video description if you Wish. ruclips.net/video/2TwN1BnCBZ4/видео.html :)
it's okay , i got the same feedback from other users , i've uploaded a no music version you can find it in the video description... sorry about that i messed up with the audio mix.
That's amazing. It's pity there's no foam, but I was shocked enough that eevee could render like this
Foam Will come soon in a few updates , working on It :) thanks for the appreciation

this is absolutely amazing. I'm fairly new to blender, and this will be incredibly helpful in my animations! thank you!!
Thank You , Glad you like it :)
Looks great but the background music put me off watching. Mute the music so we can hear you clearly
Yeah Sorry, you're so right... i did the mixing with the headset on and for some reason It was Good to me , but right now i can Hear the mess... i'll fix asap , thanks for the feedback
I would get rid of it all together. People have their own mixes if they want music.
