- In World of Warcraft’s seventh expansion, Battle for Azeroth, it would arrive with a whole new plateau of mounts for collectors to farm. In this video we’re going to be going over the hardest to obtain mounts from BFA. The list is determined by what is CURRENTLY (Dragonflight 10.1.7 as of this script.) the hardest to farm, however, and can still be obtained through playing through BFA’s content. So, that means mounts like the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur/Long Boi will not be making this list. BFA also added a lot of mounts of similar nature so some entries on this list may have a tie with each other.

9:16 "forgiving in terms of rng" the puzzle world quest rng is insane tho. You can be stuck waiting for a single wq to spawn for months at a time needing to check twice a day everyday
I guess it would be more time consuming then hard but the Bloodflank Charger was definitely up there in difficulty

I got the Mechacycle Model W back in BFA. The one and only rare mount I'll ever grind for. It was a huge time sink every single day and it seems impossible nowadays.
i dont play warcraft anymore but still follow ur videos, same with the ones for yugioh, with that said, i wish u put the model of the mounts on screen to see how they look like without having to google them since u only show gameplay without the mounts instead
The reason why so many people have the Glacial Tidestorm vs G.M.O.D. is because Jaina would always drop 2 during BfA. During season 4 when they added the skip to Jaina, this was when corruption was very powerful and you'd also be able to use a Leatherworker's Tool of the Trade to use Lust during phase 1 and it would completely avoid triggering her Ice Block.
Also, the Arachnoid Harvester and Rustfeather usually had a spawn between 45-75 minutes so they were fairly decent to farm. Took 18 and 247 kills respectively. However Soundless is actually on a 2-8 hour spawn timer and has 6 or 7 spawn points. The rarity of this mob was so low that they increased the droprate on the mount. You had to find groups to get kill on it and with how high max level is now, most people that find Soundless just kill it out of impatience of forming a group. It took me 1716 kills until I finally got my Silent Glider during Season 1 of Shadowlands.
I have all of these mounts, the honor level 500 mount which i think was added with the bfa pre patch was by far the hardest to get.
Although it isn't technically a BFA mount
A few weeks ago i decided to unlock the Mechagon Dailies with my Pandaren Priest, reasons being i wanted to be able to both farm the Rares and do the BattlePet daily quests to get tokens.
My Rare Scan warned me Rustfeather was up so i thought "Hek, why not?" and went over to kill him. He dropped the [Rusted Keys to the Junkheap Drifter] mount first try on my Priest.
i did the mecha- done achievement. it took me around 5-6 months lol.....and then i quit during shadowlands X-[]. but i have both of the wheel mounts if i ever go back..... i forget if i did it on my main or an alt but i did it on a pally on magtheridon. i had to have a warrior help me for the rocket chicken because i couldn't keep up with the little guy without a warrior constantly hamstringing it. i liked mechagon.
Too bad the game is so bloated with mounts that no one will even care about your hard to get mount

Took me longer to get the rare gun than the mounts! I farmed the island for the entirety of 2021. Turned my mechagnome into a main.
Got mollie on my second kill. Didnt even know it dropped, i had just returned to the game from a break.
Carapace & N'zoth have been made completely soloable after the most recent hotfix. You won't get MC anymore with low sanity and don't even need to equip the cloak making it now completely irrelevant. You can also jump into both mindgates yourself. Takes a while to kill since it still has like 25m HP but soloable nontherless.
EDIT: Also G'huun is soloable on mythic if you still miss the archievement & title!

Is Mythic Jaina soloable or 2 man able?
You need 5 players for Jaina.
I honestly think Silent Glider is far more annoying to farm than its Mechagon counterparts, since the main thing is that Soundless can spawn in multiple locations in an area, whereas Rusfeather and the spider only have one spawn location, each.
Also, *Soundless can be tamed by a hunter.*
And that soundless has a 2-8hour timer but the mechagon rares have about a 20-40 min timer
Why are you calling ToTM a bug? It deals enough damage to skip one phase on nzoth and this amount of damage is intended

I would add the Sandy Nightsaber to this list.
It requires completing Heroic Darkshore in order to buy it. Good luck finding a group to complete that warfront, if you weren't around in BfA to do it.
the 750 service medals one is one to mention too, though the difficulty is more in gathering the willpower to grind for forever rather than "herding cats"

@@godlygamer911 mmmm, it CAN still be aquired but i think to make more exact language, im changing by "playing bfa" to acquired through bfa. In this case, the brutosaur used to be on a bfa-specific vendor, now it is no longer the case. Hence by "playing bfa". Does that make a bit more sense now?
I dont remember war mode having a scaling % depending on how many were using it. I always remember it just having a flat amount. Maybe my server was always just stacked with people using it.
I'm not into PvP so I was ignoring it. Until once when leveling my mage I saw a note somewhere like "put warmode and get +30% to xp and other stuff", so I started leveling with that. Later I saw +10%, but kept it anyways until max lvl
So I didn't imagine drops having a connection to what spawns on Island Expeditions. Huh. That does explain a lot
As someone who has almost all of these mounts, I would reorder the list like this (from easiest to hardest):
Dungeon Glory Mount (can be done in 2 hours) > Island exp. mounts (Very easy to farm) > Rustfeather (can be farmed with trial chars) > Soundless (Post SL drop chance buff) > Mechagon Rep Mount / Snapback Scuttler (Both are easy, they just require time) > Arachnoid Harvester (can be farmed by class trials, but can take way over 500 tries if you are just slightly unlucky) > KR/FH dungeon Mounts (fast with skip) > UR/Mech dungeon Mounts > GMOD >>> Mythic Nzoth Mount >>> Soundless (prebuff) >>> Conquerer of Azeroth Mount ( as of DF it is impossible to get due to a bug).
I would remove the Dungeon Hero Mounts and add the two 500k gold Mounts.
Soundless can also be farmed by trials and UR bosses can also be skipped.
@@knighthawk3749 You are correct, but for soundless 'number of alts' really isn't the bottleneck, as the respawn time is just too long.
And yeah, you can skip bosses for UR, but you still have to walk through the whole dungeon and kill at least some trash. It is way faster than Mechagon, but KR and FH were still way faster each run, in my experience.
@@asdadadadff123 The point of trials for Soundless is that you can create them on low pop RP realms where it often spawns without being killed. And while KR is faster using the skip, UR and FH are about the same. The only trash in the former you need to kill are the two thingies right before the final boss, and in the latter are 2 at the end of the final bridge.
I'm so glad I collected all of them during BfA, except mount from Underot. Farming them now must be real pain.
The dungeons are easy to solo at level 70 and you also still have a way to repeatably farm two of them (Underrot and Freehold) until the current season ends. So the mythic dungeons ones are imo the least bad of the bad.
I guess N''zoth was this tough because of the inclusion of Corruption when it was the peak of player character power ever.
Yup. The amount of dmg people did in 8.3 with full corruptions compared to 8.2, 8.1, or 8.0 is just ridiculously insane. When we fought G'huun, we did like 10k dps. Jaina we did around 20k dps. Mages were bursting well over 300k dps and sustaining around 130k+ dps in Ny'alotha.
@@DankMemes-xq2xm I farmed up full Bis gear w my ideal corruptions with about 6 months left in the expansion and I remember people blown away in 5 man key runs I would pull over 150k on single target 5 man bosses when no one else was hitting 100k lols. My key run tank was always laughing in coms. I was BM running the less popular full crit build full crit corruptions and by the end no mage could hang with me in keys or raids with a noticeable gap for 2nd place on mythic raid kills.
I remember gettng the Rusty Mechanocrawler on my first kill while farming rep and didnt even know it was super rare

I'm glad I got the Assassin title in Nazjatar by killing 10 + 10 more people when it was current content. Stressful as all hell that was.
This is the expansion when people who have things to do in Real life stopped playing. İt was already hard to achieve endgame content for casual players but we would at least play for collecting mounts and tmogs. But now even that needs you to play wow as full time job because of all that timegated grinds and super low rng chances.

Only Ny'alotha normal raid can be full clear
other raid are still not possible to do full clear due to boss mechenic mostly MC

The Azshara in Nyolotha is not doable as of 10.2, unless you have a powerful enough group. You are on an exceptionally short timer, as the main mechanic (the football one) will wipe you the second time it triggers, dealing around 2.5 Million damage for current content. So N'Zoth isn't the only problem.
Rustfeather and arachnid harvester have 30 min respawns and people are still there always
One correction the dungeons, for Underrot and Freehold you can actually skip straight to the last boss. You may have to pull 1-2 trash packs but that’s it no bosses.

I loved BFA tbh (I’m told I wouldn’t love it if I had played Legion or had alts, but still)

I'm still salty "Servant of N'Zoth" toy don't work outside of BFA zones...I'm not PvP player it took me WEEKS to get it, only for the joy of murdering guildmates on their way to m+/raid to end with the expansion :(
