      Technically his mortal eyes were burned out by Sargaras and replaced with his own. He effectively has the eyes of a titan….

      @@BigHeadClan "the eyes of a titan" is pure bs but yeah he received his improved eyes from Sargeras itself

    • @BigHeadClan
      @BigHeadClan 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@DavidPachón8591 You should read the war of the ancients trilogy which is cannon, it outright states that Sargeras granted Illidan his own sight so that it might aid the Legion and Illidan himself.
      Most of the lore also alludes to the fact that Illidans vision is extra ordinary.

    • @DavidPachón8591
      @DavidPachón8591 11 месяцев назад

      @@BigHeadClan I know what that means but we simply don't know what the eyes of a titan are capable of, as i said saying "the eyes of a titan" like if that means something is bullshit, so yeah, improved eyes after all...

    • @BigHeadClan
      @BigHeadClan 11 месяцев назад +4

      @@DavidPachón8591 ???? The lore in the books and games actually go into a fair bit of detail with what the vision is capable of.
      He can see the essence of magic itself, how it flows and interacts with the world and castings. Be it arcane, druidic or demonic, it also allows him to see the energy inherit in all things living, inanimate or spectral.
      The ability to see in perfect darkness, through spells and illusions and a near perfect field of view. Hell Illidan used it to see across the universe granted it required a bunch of rituals so he knew what and where to look for but there really isn't a limit to what the eye's can observe under the right circumstances.
      Improved eye's make it sound like he just has 20/10 vision or some shit. lol

    I find it very weird that Cenarius made the list with his brambles, while Argus didn't even made it to the list. I mean, the whole raid dying midfight and having resurrections at the tree is one thing. Being able to actively aid the raid even while you were dead was on a whole other level. It's probably the only raidfight out there where you'll always have something to do, even when dead.

    • @bart10050
      @bart10050 6 месяцев назад

      I don't remember helping while dead, but also the adds that took more damage from specific types, so you'd have to find your type and kill that first. One of the best fights ever imo.

    • @WaterbuffelNL
      @WaterbuffelNL 6 месяцев назад

      @@bart10050 Once the whole raid gets killed you get teleported to a 'death realm' of the arena where the portal was to resurrect and orbs were flying around that you could grab and they'd buff the people who are still alive. After a certain amount of resurrections the portal would disappear, but dead people could still collect the orbs and buff their team. If I'm not mistaken it was even a legitimate tactic to have a few members NOT resurrect but stay in the realm and just collect orbs.
      It was an interesting mechanic and I really liked it.

    This video really drives home one point for me: Antorus is the most underappreciated raid of all time. This video is comparing the end boss or 2nd-to-last boss from 3 previous raids to mid-raid bosses (not even "wing end" bosses) from Antorus. Its crazy to me that Antorus is full of unique and well-executed fights, but is discussed significantly less than ToS or NH.
    I'll admit that maybe Mythic Argus isn't as interesting as Mythic Guldan or as hard as Mythic KJ. However, if you look at the raid as a whole and at every difficulty I think Antorus might be the best raid ever created for the majority of the playerbase. LFR, Normal, and Heroic were exceptional and absolutely some of the best designed fights we have ever seen. Heroic Coven of Shivarra is probably one of the most mechanically unique and challenging bosses at the time (but is still well-regarded by the player base despite its challenges).

    "It's raid content is still highly regarded as some of the best in the game" Uhh, no? lmao. You of all people should know this Hiru. Most of your videos are ABOUT wow history. When legion was current, it was regarded as one of the worst xpacks the game had ever seen, even being worse than WoD. And the raiding community hated the raids in legion, with ToS being seen as one of the WORST raid tiers in the game's entire HISTORY when it was current content. People HATED legion raiding. This isn't even bringing up stuff like having to reroll the same class because your 4 legos you got were not any good, so you lvled a new alt, of the same class, just to try and get 4 good ones in order to actually competitively raid. Or the whole garbage AP system, being forced to play one single spec because you had to put all your AP into 'a' weapon, so you couldn't just swap to a tank or healer spec mid raid if you needed to, because you had to have your one, main spec be as powerful as possible. Where in the hell did you even get the claim that LEGION of all xpacks had GOOD raiding? It certainly was not from posts from when it was current content, I know that much.
