Afflatus Brass is incredible. Having only purchased Jade, Afflatus Strings, and Afflatus Brass from them as of yet, I can't speak for all of their titles, but I now feel that Strezov Sampling is among the few developers that can ask what they ask for (regarding their typically high prices) and the customer isn't ripped off. All three libs have been exactly what I was hoping for, which does not happen often. People have opinions, of course, but this library, in my own opinion, is worth every penny. As usual, a very thorough and honest review. I just discovered Strezov today when someone mentioned them in passing and then I checked in here and saw your review. They sound really great, very rich and musical and the space is appealing to my ears. Many libraries sound dark and cold where Strezof sounds sonorous and beautiful. Again, IMO. The strings I heard on their website were just as nice.

I think Afflatus Brass can be the best Brass Library on the market. Okay, but there are a few things that bother me, which apart from instruments or articulation are still missing - this is in no hurry. Now for the first time, fix what you already meant and improve some of the dynamic levels of trumpets and cimbasso. I hope that they will do this for the first time in the 2024 update, as I have already seen some new patches being added. But as mentioned above, if you continue to work on this library and don't stop releasing updates like every other provider, it could become the best brass library on the market❤📯

I dont share the opinion of most people here. Horns and trombones are good, but not excellent. The sound is a bit cold. Sound Quality is rather griddy than clear and brilliant. In recordings, the brass has much top end, which sounds crisp and clear always. In sample library, only few can deliver that brilliant high frequencies , and if they do, the rest of the library is not usable. Very sad! As for the trombones, these are some of the best sampled trombones i heard so far ! Great review!

Not familiar with this developer. Sounds fantastic. As for the Ensemble patches, do you have any control of what instruments are part of the patch or are you limited to what they provide you?

Strezov has a quite a few fantastic instruments, for example their choirs. You cannot change the instruments in the ensembles. Cheers!
way too much blaring very quickly.. personally i don't dig the tone much, it's no king for me. Neither is aflatus strings
Best string library I've heard. Love the brass demos, don't own it yet.
