My remark comes as BBCSO Pro/ARO/Musio Cinesamples and Performance Samples user. All of them don't quite behave the same, so you can get most out of them by programming them individually. I've noticed that Pacific Brass for examle benefits very much from even the very small modulation gestures you do to them, from the start of the note, middle and at the end. You can get all of them sound close to realistic when programming them accordingly, while each have their own timbre and place. BBCSO is actually among my favorites for emotional stuff, along with Cinebrass. There is certain elegance in their sound when building growing harmonies in emotional music. For quickly sketching action packed brass ideas I find myself using Pacific first because how easily it responds and always sounds good, no matter what.

Thank you for your detailed answer. Of course, each example is individually programmed, as required by the respective library. Otherwise it would sound horrible. 😂 I only chose the same optical graphics in the video, because it should be more about the sound, not programming.
Thanks for the classification of your excellent libraries. Not included in the video: Modern Scoring Brass, buyed it at black friday, very good! Most realistic for loud stuff is Beaufort, I think.

Beaufort Brass sounds so amazing, I feel that and Monolith are the 2 best releases ever from this company , we look forward to what they release in the future. I own CSB, Forzo and Fanfare brass. Forzo is really cool because of the insane articualtions it has like Cluster bends and Tuba Crescendo bends.. the sound of Godzilla rising from the ocean pretty much. Also, very nice little composition, cheers!

Pacific or Cinematic Studio has the best pro brass sound to my ear

Have to disagree... At least for this short piece CSB didn't sound too great imo. Not sure if it's the recording or room, but it sounds very thin.
Beaufort and AROOF sounded best to me.

@Euthymania True, CSB has too less of ambience here, more room is missing. My mistake. They sound better in a hall and context.

Beaufort wins for this kind of music imo. I don't like the SA Brass not so much, except ARO

True. By the way, I was surprised that VSL can keep up to the first places.

Why didn't take an Audiobro Modern Scoring Brass?

Because it was too expensive before black friday. Now I buyed it and it's among the best three libraries in my opinion!
