Read Romans chapter one. Evil will be called good and good evil. Not only will they be a part of the evil, they will cheer on the evil. Their hearts and minds are scorched and they can no longer discern evil from good.
So you believe that if a women is raped and even in case of incest, she should be held accountable for a baby that she does not want or can’t sustain? A women who has built her career and a baby she doesn’t want or cant sustain changes it? And it wasn’t even consensual sex? I’m a Christian and don’t believe that abortion after 9 weeks should happen, and if it can be avoided all together then even better. Women are held accountable for something they have no control over, yet men want to complain about bringing in a baby into the world that eventually no one will care for?
Since rape and incest comprise less than 1% of all abortions, we should as a society be able to place these beautiful children in homes where people desperately want an adopted child. All life is sacred according to God, and only He should decide when a life ends, especially the over 99% of babies aborted because the woman doesn’t feel like she can care for the child properly or the child is an inconvenience. If a woman And man have sex together then they should be responsible for their actions if a child is conceived. They need to raise the child and be financially responsible for the child or at least give the child up for adoption if they are too selfish or irresponsible or incapable of raising the child. But please, do not murder innocent life.
Elizabeth Hall ... think that through. Rape is bad. Why? What is so bad about rape? A: someone is violating them and physically harming them, scarring them for life. Rape is terrible. Now compare that to what abortion does to the baby in the womb. How is that any better than rape? Couldn’t you argue that abortion is worse than raping the baby in the womb? It’s torn apart limb by limb and is defenseless. The baby in her womb is 1/2 her. And killing a baby doesn’t make the rape go away.
@Maria Dames it should be expensive? So in other words, it should not be affordable for people below a certain income level? Please help me understand your statement. If you are advocating for abortion as a choice, this implies it should only be a choice for the wealthy..except you believe tax payers should be funding abortions for those who cant afford it whether or not they want to..so where is their own choice?
@Maria Dames i keep hearing this argument about proper sex education and availability of birth control over and over again and yet reality refutes this. Over the last two decades, abortion rates have consistently risen in both the UK and the US in tandem with the decrease in beliefs associated with abstinence and the increase in sex education and availability of cheap birth control. The argument you make now is the exact same narrative that was pushed years ago.."abstinence doesn't work, give people access to birth control and teach teenagers and young people to have sex responsibly and that will reduce unwanted pregnancies" . Well, here we are 20 years later with compelling proof that this is clearly not the case.
@Maria Dames the baby being unaware that it was conceived or is developing does not make it less human. It is still a human life whether it is aware of it or not. And the decision to take a human life because it is inconvenient or unaware of its existence is evil. No matter how we want to slice it. Where does it end? If the mother wants the baby, it is a precious human life regardless of whether it is aware of its existence or not. Children outside of the womb are not aware of their existence for quite a while either..does that make their lives less valuable? You said in your original post there should be consequences for abortion. Im not sure what you meant. But what about consequences for choosing to have sex if you know you are not ready for a child?
@Maria Dames How much more education do people need? R u telling me that you seriously believe that today in 2019, women know less about free birth control than they do about abortions? I dont know if you missed my previous response but your argument about educating women (and teenagers especially) about free birth control over abstinence is exactly what was said 20 years ago and that has given way to an exponential increase in abortions. I'm old enough to have been around to see this all play out and the figures are out there to prove it. "However, you can get birth control with little to no cost and limit the chance of getting pregnant."--exactly! People know this but they still choose to ignore and they get pregnant anyway (because they can have abortions easily)..which is where the issues begin. At that point, it should NOT be OK for you to take a human life.

I assume they don't think it's murder because they don't consider the fetus to be a person yet. They think it's good because it upholds the rights of the one "person" involved - the mother. Whether the fetus is a person, or at exactly what point it is a person, or whether it gradually becomes a person - these are the issues that decide on which side a person lands in the debate. It's not as simple as the right's strawman who shouts, "I'M A LIBERAL AND SURE DO LOVE MURDER AND DEPRAVITY," and it's not as simple as the left's strawman who shouts, "I'M A CONSERVATIVE AND SURE DO HATE WOMEN AND LOVE OPPRESSING THEM." They did the same thing with slavery. First it was a necessary evil, then it was morally neutral, then it became a positive good. This is happening because it is both the logical conclusion of their philosophies and because it is the last refuge for their barbarism.
Fitting that I first see this video today considering on this same day some girl in my Public Speaking class presented a Persuasive Speech arguing for abortion. She made the typical arguments " It's the woman's body, nobody else should have a say in it". She even showed a video that really directly contradicted her own position about the baby not being a life, a video that showed what the process of a doctor killing a baby inside the womb looks like by vaccuming out each limb of the baby one by one brutally. Even the professor of our class said while laughing " This is supposed to support YOUR side?" After the speech I called her out on this too as well as well as asking her at what point in the pregnancy does she think it is NOT okay to have an abortion. Of course when being confronted with this, she flip flopped her view and said a woman should have to have the baby when it is fully formed.
Anyone remember, “Pappa don’t preach”? It was a Madonna song about keeping her out of wedlock baby despite her catholic father wanting her to have an abortion. Wonder what her take on the subject is now...
I haven’t seen anyone (on the left) give me a time frame where a baby in the womb is not allowed to be aborted if they want to negotiate then they need to compromise give Republicans a time frame where abortion is morally unjust then work to compromise
When one makes a mistake. The appropriate thing to do is admit as a mistake. The folly of not admitting it as a mistake and worse justifying it. Is to twist everything around. So that all will have a twisted mind andp life like yours. A twisted understanding of the right to the pursuit of happiness. Liberalism believes that a wrong done should be understood. Not as a justified one to make the wrong correct. But for man to be compassionate with the erring one and be led back to righteousness. But making evil act as a right act. Was never the intention.
I read that women who had their babies by rape, decided to raise their child with love. Although the rape still lingered in their memory at times, something amazing happened. The child now grown and raised by love turns around and loves the Mom which in turn heals the wounds from her past. As opposed to another woman who aborted her baby by rape, still bares the scar and now at an older age watching little children playing in the park is scared once again by WHAT IF. Now she’s double scarred.
Any adult has the moral obligation to protect any child. Even if it is the child of your rapist. Severe emotional stress does not absolve you of your duty. If anyone said that doing the right thing was always easy, they lied.
I'll reiterate what I said before on the full show video. Michael Jackson's "Song Groove a.k.a. Abortion Papers" shows how evil abortion is. It is a song about how a woman gets an abortion. She is uneducated on the issue and she buys into all the lies surrounding abortion like the "my body my choice" argument. It talks about how abortion rips families apart and about how the woman isn't thinking about the fetus' life. It is a beautiful and highly underrated song. I really recommend everyone listens to it.
I’ve always been conservative/libertarian and morally pro-life and against late-term but i used to be one of the “safe, legal, & rare” pro-choice opinion for like just the first trimester. (Mainly bc of cases of rape and incest) But recently I’ve made the full crossover into completely 100% pro-life and one of the reasons for that is bc I just can’t “share a side” with people who literally celebrate abortion. It’s just too disgusting. The left literally pushed me away. Reminds me of the Reagan quote: “I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The party left me.”
If a woman has an abortion she should have to pay a small fine over 18 years to a fund that helps children kind of like men paying child support but a lesser amount. It is bad enough that so many women do not seem to know who the father is and get rewarded. I payed child support for 16 years because she was my daughter and I love her.
I hate that argument that abortion is the solution for a woman who is suicidal. As someone who has dealt with depression and suicidal ideation (this was years ago and I'm doing very well now by the grace of God!), I have a little bit of insight here. A pregnant woman dealing with thoughts of suicide will not be helped by adding guilt to that equation. Even if she and those around her convince her she has nothing to feel guilty about, it doesn't matter. The depression will whisper every ugly thought and doubt she's ever had at her in a constant barrage. Suicide is not caused by external forces. Changing the external circumstances will not help. What needs to be changed, healed, is the mind. She needs therapy, not an abortion.
A lack of empathy cannot be justified with reason Ben. Abortion is a touchy subject that's very situational. It's harsh and hard to regulate it either way. Imagine being born with no father and a mother who does not and cannot love you. Because the mother was raped. What would you be? Can we truly decide their fate? Do we have that right? Does anyone?
respect is a two way street, both pro choice and pro life arguments need to be talked about, as a community we must respect both opinions, one side says it's a person's choice with no concern of the biology, the other side says biological it is a human and that a person should be more respectful of thier body and thier decisions that lead upto to making a hard decision that comes with not only physical surgery but mental scarring, I don't have an answer but I believe there should be a compromise. that is respect
Back in 1964 I believe it was I was in the third grade of elementary school. Our teacher was talking about what the people were doing in the Greek and Roman empires just before they fell. She also said that our country was also going in that direction. The men began to date men and marrry men. The women would date women and marry women. The people in our country would begin to kill babies. I was just a child and did not understand homosexuality or any other perversion. I did know that we would never kill babies, I could not imagine anybody being that bad. Well, here we are, people doing things which are against the natural ways. Babies are being sacrificed because there are sexual relationships run rampant without a thought of consequences, responsibilities or marriage because it is just so easy to kill them. That those who believe life is sacred and not ours to stop are called evil and mean spirited. That those same individuals protect the criminals from prosecution or serving a sentence for their crimes. They also cause those who protect their families to be prosecuted or threatened by the law.

where i stand on abortion is simple.... 1.abortions should be a choice for rape victims....ive had a cousin that mentally hated herself for the baby of the rapist and almost committed suicide from the disgust 2.other then the 1st reason it should not be allowed to abort a life out of convenience or stupidity of choice because you didn't want to protect yourself.....period we all make choices in life some good some bad but we grow and become stronger myself included and move on with life..... i had 2 kids before i got a degree living in east l.a. and it was a hard road but never let it go and worked my ass off to support and make better decisions for the future of my family and now i served my country and made a business and still went to school and swing shifted with the wife so she can get a degree and she became a college teacher and me a business owner so it is possible depending on how much willpower you have and i got no support from friends and family except understanding.....my mom didint agree either yet i pushed on and i got 2 kids with one a gifted student and the other an average sports athlete.....all is possible when you get past the excuses for yourself to fail... ive always lived my life by this quote= “The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing, and becomes nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love. Chained by his certitude, he is a slave; he has forfeited his freedom.Only the person who risks is truly free.”
Just shows the generation's flaws. Not wanting to accept responsibilities for their actions. Unprotected sex=baby. If you can't handle that, don't have sex?
Whether you're on the left or right you should be for fewer abortions. Saying it is a moral good is just evil, period. No thinking human wants more abortions. A "moral good" is something we'd all presumably want more of, so... we should want more abortions?
Women have never been more empowered regarding their reproductive choices than we are right now. Anyone opting for an abortion has been supremely irresponsible and narcissistic. Firstly, you should only be having sex if you’re prepared to have the baby, but if that isn’t the case you still have dozens of birth control options that don’t involve murdering anyone involved. Well, what about rape etc.? I’d still rather have the baby, instead of living with the trauma of rape and the additional trauma of knowing I’d torn a baby limb by limb from my womb.
As n indian, when I see so many western women advocating for abortion, it disgusts me so much. Here we can never even imagine a woman promoting abortion. Any woman arguing in favour of abortion here will immediately lose any respect she has in other's eyes. Any woman advocating for the killing of helpless innocent lives for the sake of mere convenience deserves 2 b stripped of her very identity of being a woman.

Kent Sears fact!!
Elizabeth Hall if you are a Christian you need to take that up with God. He said thou shalt not kill and there is no compromise with Gods word.
So much for "safe, legal, and rare." They won't stop until abortion is _normal._ Just like most of us knew from the beginning.
As a woman, I find it literally sickening hearing other women refer to murdering a helpless innocent human being “morally good”. It’s all about looking out for number one with them.

It’s just too disgusting. The left literally pushed me away.

With the amount of contraceptives available today, abortion should be EXTREMELY rare. When does a man get a say in the death of his unborn child?
If abortion was “morally good”, then why do women who had one describe it as one of the most heartbreaking decisions they’ve ever had to make?
Women have never been more empowered regarding their reproductive choices than we are right now. Anyone opting for an abortion has been supremely irresponsible and narcissistic. Firstly, you should only be having sex if you’re prepared to have the baby, but if that isn’t the case you still have dozens of birth control options that don’t involve murdering anyone involved. Well, what about rape etc.? I’d still rather have the baby, instead of living with the trauma of rape and the additional trauma of knowing I’d torn a baby limb by limb from my womb.
The difference is that women rarely die giving birth, while every abortion ends a life.

Don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. Plain and simple. You'll be happier and more at peace👍
Interesting ... what happened with female infanticide, similar to China, through the use of sonograms there? I remember that being a problem several years back under the guise of dowry's or necessary labor especially in rural areas. Don't really keep up on politics in India.
Why is it that women who are in a “bad relationship” get pregnant and want an abortion? Maybe you shouldn’t be having sex? If you despise the guy why are you sleeping with him?
Getting pregnant would kill you? I think you’re kid would disagree
Except it’s not moral at all
