Life and stress can get to us all, friend! Start small, talking to God while you perform some routine things in your day is a good way to get back into the habit. Maybe pray about your day while you're doing morning routine things or at the end of the day as you're getting ready for bed. YOU GOT THIS 💜
@@412teens I do pray in my head throughout the day (mostly cause I feel I have to), but I feel like I have to spend like a hour a day praying in my room.
If you're talking to God throughout the day, that is practicing 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17, which says, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances..." Any shame that you aren't "doing enough" is a whisper of lies from anxiety and/or the enemy.
@@WAHRHENDAHRSTEIN praying to God is all what matters, and staying consistent, when I pray is mostly at nighttime or while doing stuff around the house or while riding my skateboard sometimes. But anxiety is one of the worst things to exist tbh. I got a test tmrw but as long u put God's kingdom first ur gonna get everything u need and want added to u. Chapter Matthew 6 I think can help
Is listening to things like music that are not edifying towards God considered a salvation issue under Phillippians 4:8-9 or are they a conviction issue under Roman’s 14? I wanna ask cause I listen both secular music and Christian Music and that I enjoy watching movies including horror movies are good Christian movies but I can’t stand cringy Christian movies and tv shows like Bibleman and superbook. I Would watch anything including veggietalws other than those watching cringy Christian shows and like those 2 shows that I mentioned and very cringy and very BAD Christian movies.
Great question! This is a personal conviction issue--not a salvation issue. We have a video and article on that topic here: 412teens.org/qna/can-Christians-listen-to-secular-music.php
@@mattr.1887 Because of how the Bible describes salvation! Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us that it is not by our doing or not-doing ANYTHING that we are saved, but rather, we are saved by God's grace alone. Something I used to be good at taking time to do, now with anxiety and stress and probably religious ocd, I can barely "find time" to do 😭

Alone time with God is what led me out of Christianity.
I'm so sorry to hear that happened... Do feel like sharing your experience?
