The smokes after dying is actually such a cool concept, and the ult seems somewhat inspired by Renata Glasc from league (well, there's other places with similar mechanics but I'm just thinking Riot). Smokes especially are neat cause a common "problem" or complaint with tac fps is having to sit and do nothing for 2 minutes while you're dead

ult is just terminus ult from paladins except you need to get a kill to stay alive

There’s a character that has a similar ability to Clove’s ult in League of Legends. Her name Renata Glasc and she can buff herself or an ally and if they die they’ll have a few seconds after to still fight. If they manage to get a kill they are revived. Neat ult for Clove

Imagine a comp with kay/o for ult life, sage for heals/rez, phoenix for self heal/ ult, Reyna for self heal, and clove for self heal/ ult. The amount of damage needed to kill this team on a round with full ults😂
U could swap Reyna for Skye but I’d have Reyna bc of Kay/o on the team already

by this point you can essentially compare any ability to another agent's ability because there are so many abilities its hard to come up with entirely new ones. There are elements of reyna with the over-heal and "dismiss" in the ult but there is also brim with the stim aspect and the ipad smokes, omen with the 2 smokes on a 30s cooldown, the decay molly is a little unique but there are several agents with mollies, the aspect of doing ANYTHING after death is definitely new, you could say the 12s to get a kill before something good happens could be kinda like iso with his sheild ability, and there are probably other comparisons i could make but ultimately it is a new agent with an entirely different playstyle than any other agent.

@@majormushu it’s not hard to come up with new concepts for abilities. They just wanted to make a controller that is tempting to play, unlike most controllers. They gave Clove so much strong stuff, that she’ll get a lot of play just for the players that will play whoever gets them free RR. If you look at Clove, not only does she have strong abilities, but her abilities don’t require practice. She doesn’t have any line-ups or movement techs, no nuances like that, making her a great fill/flex agent for many player’s agent pools. The only learning curve will be for players who don’t know how or where to smoke, but most people have some knowledge on how to dome smoke.
Clove + Phoenix + Sage + Reyna + Skye = unkillable comp, imagine the total rez + heal/overheal amount possible in a round

this was actually a cool idea so there will not be much problem for smokes and the players will get something to do. it makes them sit on the game instead being afk after the death i have a duo who instantly go watch animes in his phone after he dies every round and he ill be the first one to die what ever agent he playes.

All respect to people who use non-binary pronouns but what place does it have in a competitive scene? Now it puts more pressure on streamers and casters who may say the wrong pronoun while in the heat of the moment and get in trouble for it. Just seems unnecessary and forced in a game like Valorant

His speed runs are the equivalent of a skilled shooter player (ei Apex or Csgo) playing valorant for the first time. Which is part of Val and the elo systems is aware of. Iorn to radiant ruins peoples ranked experience two fold on the way down cause throwing needs to happen to get to iron. And on the way up because ur playing against someone u would NEVER play against in ur games naturally.
