From a cinematic point of view, fucking amazing.
From a realism point of view, eh.
Russia lacks ability to really project its power further than where its borders touch. It has one aircraft carrier that's uh, questionable. It would be a hard fought battle to actually make it on the beach in the first place. The US Navy could mobilize to try and starve out the beach head, and all sorts of stuff. Also there wouldn't be much surprise lmao. Mobilizing a force large enough to give the US Army pause would likely be noticed by just about everyone. Getting out to sea and sailing to New York undetected? Uh, lmao.
The invasion of Germany is very much the same thing. Unless Russia decides to shoot down satellites, they very much cannot invade that easily without being detected, not even mentioning how they get close enough that their helicopters don't drop out of the air from lack of fuel.
Also do SAMs just not exist on the NATO side lmao. Ya boi constantly getting surprise attacked by random ass airborne units. Also ya boi China somehow managed to get somewhere to the... east coast? Without getting detected.
Apache tactics really don't involve charging the shit out of an AA position. If they really had to, it would likely use their radars to spot the targets, or have their grids before hand, and just use pop up tactics to shoot hellfires at max range.
Not sure why the Russian tanks charged out in that scene. Would've probably been easier if they had prepared fighting position and sat there and let the Americans come to them.
On the jet fight, uh, in the words of the legendary CW Lemoine, "Just shoot him already! Do a Fox 2 or something!"
Still, the cinematic was awesome.

I love the show but they really don’t have Realism of the real world and how Russia can’t even get to us and also have a huge ass navy and Air Force and man to do such a thing but u make a lot good point but it still cool to see if Russia turned op
I agree that realism was put on hold for this series. I have taken it as fiction. Ships, planes etc move at the speed of plot, arriving just when the story requires them to. Still I am one who gave up on Game of Thrones after season 5 due to inconsistencies in writing and plot, and that had dragons!
Most of you really do especially Hawk, underestimate possablity and capability of advisaries with in years of arms build up, technology overhauls and planning of some of these operations and real time maneuvers from taking place. Russia does not need a very large Navy to be on USA shores and some cities. Combined with China, there would be battle fields all across the world. I don't think most of you see the larger picture and have had updated weapons check of military hardware would be deployed in this scenario, and the mistakes that could be made make a Lot of factors. In this day in age in this ww3 you don't need to take all or whole cities. Stop the other government, capacity from fighting at large. Still a 75% nobody win kinda situation. 25% is stalemate and negotiations and a new world order.
@NightHawk I concur with all of your points made. All valid and I could add paragraphs to each to further validate them. I would add a point to your list regarding enemy troops on US soil. There is a MASSIVE factor missing in terms of realism. Armed US citizens aka militias are completely unaccounted for here. Perhaps there would be smaller resistance in a state like NY due to their strict gun laws, but we've seen thousands of armed protesters mobilize across the country just to protest an unconstitutional law. There were some 30k armed citizens that went to Virginia just to protest. If a foreign army set a foot on US soil it would be like nothing the world has even seen before.
This is completely theoretical given that an invasion of the US airspace and waters alone would be simply unfeasible.
this film shows how important a country army is.
But this film also shows how terrible war is and that it shouldn't come to that.
This film is great and due to the many impressions from each side, this film makes a few things right

Кто бы не начал третью мировую войну-ПРОИГРАЕТ ЧЕЛОВЕЧЕСТВО!!! отсидеться, переждать войну такого масштаба не получится. И очень правильная мысль ещё в первой части- у современных и прогрессивных стран нет РЕАЛЬНЫХ причин начинать самоубийственную войну, но достаточно чьего то злого умысла, серьезной провокации и всë- цепочка самоубийства человечества будет запущена, и остановиться уже может не получиться.
Так что можно бесконечно спорить, чья армия круче, у кого больше танков или сильнее мотивированы солдаты, но понимающие и разбирающиеся люди понимают- победителей уже скорее всего не будет, а проиграют в итоге все(когда одни народы исчезнут полностью, а те горстки людей кто выживут, не назовут себя победителями).

When Russia holds up two large offensives one of which being overseas in New York meaning it got past the naval power of most NATO nations and New York's defense which is nye impossible and China blows right past the navies of Japan, Taiwan, and the U.S. plus all of Cali's coastal defense. I forgot to mention that China and Russia being able to project anything near equal to the U.S's airpower overseas is by all intents and purposes impossible.
Sorry about getting worked up, the scenario while looking great and obviously being made REALLY well (can't wait for the next one) scares me a bit.

@@zobi9878 actually the Soviet and NATO war plans both involved the heavy use of nuclear weapons against not just eachother but also any nation that could potentially ally with their respective adversary. If world war 3 were to occur it would be fought without any conventional forces ever firing a shot. world leaders know this and it's why no two nuclear powers have directly fought each other. If the Russia, China, or NATO were ever to go to war it would be a death sentence for all humanity, no exageration. President Eisenhower himself said that if war occurs, “You might as well go out and shoot everyone you see and then shoot yourself.".

@@zobi9878 Even if both sides don't use nuclear weapons, as soon as one side begins to lose the war than the use of nuclear weapons is inevitable. These major powers rather take the whole world down than to lose the war and become pretty much slaves

I've been subscribed for a very, very long time. It saddens me when people come on here with blind nationalistic views and boast about how great their country is. World War III is the final war. While it may begin with conventional warfare, it would most certainly end with nuclear catastrophe. This video explains the very reason that we must all band together, put aside our differences, and make changes that benefits all people of the world. War is not something anybody should want - and if you do, I am afraid you are extremely ill.

Listen to latest statements from Ukraine's high ranking officers, they requesting entire new army otherwise they admit the war will soon be over as they have nothing left to fight with. West may be winning PR battles and media spin's, but that's not the real war. If you need further lessons on Russias resolve to fight, go read about WWII and you will realize that westerns imperialistic agenda has woken up the Bear and I hope cooler heads will prevail before it is too late and all of this becomes reality.
