You forgot one thing. In Asia, if you are sick but laugh out loud or get up from the bed, then you are not sick😆😆😆
Yes! That’s a good one!!
Yep🥲
I laugh at a vid and I *AM* sick but my parents are like “no your good”

U can hangover all the time at your friends house. But why night? Night is not a good time. Specially for girls. Night (after 7/8) everybody should be at their own house.

I like the Father teaching the kid to be responsible abt the water spill. Life has lots to learn and so teach them in small bits from that age. And I like the way the mother celebrated his report card. Father can learn from that.
Your boys are so cute! My husband is from India and we had so many of these differences! So funny and you all seem to take it in stride like we did. A sense of humor is so important
I remember i made a total 100% one time, told my parents very proudly expecting some sort of reward, they just said: "ok, its your responsability, you are supposed to make that everytime" They didnt even said congratulations, my expression was: ☠️
As a south asian, I confirm this. I even relived my childhood because my parents used to be like the dad in this video.. kinda sad that after I grew up and there were some conflicts that made my parents not care about me as much and Im so depressed right now, I literally have noone left in this world. This video was supposed to be funny or wholesome but here I am, typing a comments whilst I wipe my tears away..
Anyways, you guys are so cute, you have precious little babies and wish you stay happily forever as the beautiful family you are ♥️
I understand completely how you feel, I lost my entire family overnight due to marrying someone outside the religion. It was shocking to say the least and took me YEARS to overcome. I promise you will learn to live with this and be happy again. Grief is a common thing we share as humans and that is what connects us, we all suffer loss eventually….the trick is finding small ways to overcome it. One way that’s greatly helped me is taking small amounts of time where I’m just living in the moment and forcefully removing all thoughts from my brain, stepping into the water on a beach, walking barefoot in the forest or simply just doing anything physical. You may still feel bad emotions but the trick is not to connect thoughts to it, it will eventually subside if you practise this and it worked for me. Best of luck to you, you’re never alone 🙂🌻
Sorry. I hope you guys can mend fences.
I’m so sorry! I really hope things get better for you soon! I don’t know where you are on the religion spectrum but, if you can, pray for your parents and try to forgive them. You can even ask God to put that forgiveness in your heart. Try to be around people who uplift you (in a good, healthy way), and avoid negative people who complain, criticize, and bring you down. Try to do kind things for other people, even those you don’t know well, every day. Live in the light, and God bless you! 🙏🏼
So so sorry to hear this, bless you 😪
Then dont be depressed there are people who have found out they have one month to live or people who have found out there whole familly has been killed and nobody is alive or people who have found out they are gonna spend there whole life in wheelchairs so stop with the bullshit of im depressed when you can have somany things you could have children a nice wife or husband wichever gender you are just stop with this bullshit called depression ok and get a therapist or FIND SOMETHING TO DO IN YOUR LIFE
As a middle eastern, I relate to almost everything. However, you forgot that they yell at you the entire time that you're sick while simultaneously taking care of you 😂😂😂😂
Oh yeah… being sick was a punishment, and not to be enjoyed.😂😂😂😂😂

But if we look past this , the lesson is
“ dont feel sorry for yourself”
learn to overcome .

sometimes we as Malaysians doesn't wanna our kids go sleep over or playing to be much at others house because we worried our kid might causing trouble for others..

Hmmm... my parents don't mind this much, though it's within a certain set rules growing up.
This may also be a race thing... maybe... as I noticed most Chinese around me tend to sleep in own houses compared to malays who don't mind whole family sleepovers much (ie on balik kampung times). Not sure in other places though. Just something I noticed with people around me

Also sleeping along with them throughout their childhood creates a good parent child bonding and they feel safe and secure 👍🏻 I really loved the way it was portrayed
Hi, I am Hungarian and some situations are the same in our country: "eaten yet" (your parents think you are starving all day long 😂), sweet dreams, safety and vet hair paranoia and cutted ONIONS under the bed. It was funny and interesting, thank you.

OMG, this is so relatable, especially the sleep over, my god, I remembered my Dad, his concept was clear, go meet your friends, have fun but you coming back home, that's it. Miss my parents so much.
Aww. Hugs
That’s hilarious. My husband is Filipino. He would not have done sleep overs at his friends’ houses. His parents were afraid the kids would break something if they even played at someone else’s house. I was the one always excited with the kids’ accomplishments. I think the most excited I’ve seen him is say, “Very good.” He has an American accent but whenever he speaks to a foreigner with a strong accent, regardless of country, he starts speaking in broken English. I have no idea why. It’s a habit. We’ve been married 46 years and the kids have turned out reasonably well adjusted. The oldest boy does standup.
Eyyyy not completely messing up is better than most parents! 🙌 Better than mine 😂
If i ever have kids my main goal will be for them to not need therapy because of something i did lol

I didn’t even know that it’s normal for kids to watch those kiss for love scenes until I moved to the U.S for college 😂
I found these videos completely relatable..there is no right or wrong..just wired differently and that's so much fun indeed. Absolutely hilarious and fun to watch. 😂😂😂
Yeah, I think some parents (in general, regardless of race) can ease up on the less than perfection thing though. Not that I have anyone Malaysian or Asian in my family (other than a cousin from the Philippines who was adopted), but I remember going home with a notice of excellence ("Good Guy Award" or something like that), and being asked why only two of the three good things were checked off. I didn't even know I was going to _get it in the first place,_ or what the things with check boxes even were until I received it. It's important to see more of what the child does right, than what the child does wrong.

My mom has never been so... sweet with us? She always spoke to us in her normal voice, never bombarded us with those sweet words, she treated us like adults and talked to us like adults. At the same time, we knew very well how much she loves us. She never scolded us for our school performance, but she also didn’t say that we were the best geniuses in the world if we received an A grade. She taught us about household chores, but at the same time she never forced us to do something, she only asked, and we always did. I think the way she raised us is the way I want to raise my children. Communicate with children on an equal footing, do not indulge out of whims, speak with them in a normal voice, while not scolding for trifles, but teaching them to be responsible for their words and deeds.
my mom may not scatter words about love, but she did everything for us
