- Welcome to the first of many Ironman related guides that will be coming to the channel as I continue to train and build my HCIM in OSRS. Super compost and Ultra compost are an essential upgrade for any ironman that is looking to take their game to the next level, and in today's video I will take you through what I have learned about composting during my time as an ironman. This is a relative beginners guide for ironman standards and I am looking forward to doing plenty more in the future, so if you have any ideas for ironman / iron man related guides that you would like to see remember to let me know down below!

Things to add:
I forgot to mention that you can use the compost potions on a regular compost bin to turn all the compost into super compost in 1 dose. Nice little trick for some lower level ironmen!
Also for those that have some Hespori seeds hanging around, you can use those in the basement of the farming guild to fight Hespori, who has a 1/35 chance of dropping a bottomless compost bucket, a bucket that stores up to 10,000 compost charges and is given 2 charges per compost used, essentially doubling your compost.
I used compost potion for early herblore training so I've been using cabbages to make regular compost turning that into super compost then ultra while still in the hopper. I find it quite cost effective and efficient if you have the potions laying around...
All that pineapple stuff is just useless. Just use compost potion on regular compost (can be bought noted form) for supercomposr and then 2 volcanic ash on super for ultra. In that way youd be gettining nice herb exp out of harlander herbs as well, so its win win
if you spent 1hour for mining volcanic ash after 67 lvl mining youd be gettin like 4000 ash per hour , half hour for makingi potions, and another half hour on making ultras youd be getting like 1000-1500ultra composts. using composts pins you porbably would spent alot more time to get similar ammount of ultras.
For people that don't wanna spend the money on pineapples you can run down in brimhVen towards the skinny part in between islands and pick pineapples and hop worlds as well
He may have said this but I don’t think he did: you can get a lot more out of your compost potion by using it on a bin of regular compost. One dose for the whole bin. This way you can get super compost using really cheap stuff like weeds. Just put them in, then dump in a dose of potion, then put in your ash, and you’ve got a whole bin of ultra compost just from weeds.
A couple of months ago I would have watched this and would have made no difference, since then I made an iron, i don't play too often so farming is slow for me right now.

Brush patches are a great way for super compostables. I grew jangleberries brushes and they always seem to put out a good bit of berries.
Also fruit stalls are a great way early game to get pineapples berries and a ton of other useful things.
Once you get your bottomless compost bucket, you can put the completed ultracompost straight into the bucket from the compost bins.
So useful, I have 40 farming and that’s from quests and sometimes tears lol. This will be handy on my new hardcore once I finish WT :)

dont forget you can use compost potions on a compost bin after its been finished to make the entire bin (15 composts) into super composts

when thieving from fruit stalls just save and bank the pineapples you get xd
easier method if you can use farming guild just put 30 pineapples every farm run will equal to 30 super compost and its near a bank a bit less tedious (i do it after the farm run so i can have 28 pineapples or volcanic ash and 27 buckets
Turn compost into super compost in the bin, not buckets. 1 dose in the bin covers 30 buckets if using the bottomless bucket
