I haven't got to go tug on a giant in over a year due to work schedule and kids schooling..
I definitely miss my jig in grass thump and jerkbait ripping 😢.
(An underrated tool is yoyo'ing /ripping a trap in the ditches right now)
Sounds like existing. Not living.
Hope you can get out soon. I’ll give the trap a try on my next trip!
@@FishtheMoment man yeah... !!
try a chatterbait if the trap isn't working.. rip both.. let flutter down. When you see that school of bait and bass!
Take a video!!!
Your info should be in a book or a webinar! Always excellent. One of the most informative fishing gems on the net. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed!
The spoon bite hasn't really come back in my lake, but thanks to you and several others it's my favorite bite!
Great to hear!
Awesome! We were catching 2lbers smacking 3 inch baitfish in 20ft creek channels. Tried traps and deep diving crankbaits but no go. They would only hit drop shots and small Keitech. Couldn’t find bigger fish. Water temps were high 60’s. Most of our baitfish are small right now. Did see and caught 1 small bluegill in a channel and a trout. Thinking maybe the bigger fish are eating those…gonna give some bigger baits a try. Thanks Johnny!
The bigger ones may be eating trout. I have trout in one of my lakes and usually get my biggest bites on a 6”-8” trout colored swimbaits.
You had yourself a day there, Jonny!! Thanks for sharing.
You bet
I know there are a lot of copy cats that just repeat what is being put out here. I really like the videos that fish the moment puts out
By the way, I LOVE the hoover rig and tush! It definitely changes the game through a different presentation.
Thanks for giving them a try!
man that looked fun.
awesome keep up good work very educated you sure help a lot of fisherman. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Crushed them ! I’ve never thrown a spoon .
Give it a try! It’s works
Have a similar screenshot from a couple weeks ago chasing striped bass
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Best fishing channel on the net!
Glad you enjoy it!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Dude! What a hammerfest, great work😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice content Johnny! 🎉
Thanks!
Great video. Fun to watch for sure. Thanks
You bet 👍
Great video illustrating how to integrate 2D sonar with Livescope to target fish, both suspended and on the bottom. One question: did you initially recognize the fish below the baitball as bass just based on their position? They didn't have the traditional arch shape and looked more like bait, but grouped under the main baitball. Would appreciate your insight there.
My 2D settings are a little bit different, so smaller bass won’t have the normal arch shape. There was 1 arch in particular under the bait that stood out and had both the correct shape and color that let me known there were big bass in the area.
I set up my graphs to help me identify bigger fish and filter out smaller fish, even though the images don’t look as good overall.
@@FishtheMoment Thanks - that explains it. I need to try your approach to 2D low-sensitivity settings from your other videos.
Got a couple tush tied on for tomorrow along with about a dozen other baits, my wife just shakes her head. I tell her she has more than one golf club.
Haha great analogy!
Jonny, i would like to know the settings on your Garmin. I can't get a picture that clear on mine. This is an awesome video.
Which unit and transducer do you have?
UHD 9 inch with the lvs32@@FishtheMoment Running dedicated power to electronics.
I’m running an LVS34, which has a better overall image than a lvs32. I do have settings for a LVS32 transducer available on my website that are pretty good though.
🍺Very nice video🤠.
Thanks 👍
Click bait !!! Seem that it should have been called” live scoping fall bass” I enjoy your channel and was hoping it was about 2D sonars.
I did show the fish on 2D sonar and explained what I was look at on the screen. The image in the thumbnail is the same graph shot I showed in the video. Clickbait is when the content of the thumbnail has nothing to do with what is shown in the video.
What a day! Maybe one day I will catch fish with the TUSH/Big Fluke but .... ole 🥄🥄🥄 has been good to me!
TUSH > Spoon 👀👀
