  • This dive took place in August of 2019 in Marquette's Lower Harbor, between the Fish dock and the Association dock. As you can see, we saw plenty of marine life.
    I was using my GoPro 5 and an OrcaTorch D620 canister light and I was joined by Erik Johnson and Timmy Knapp.

    This dive took place in August of 2019. I didn't upload much during the Covid pandemic so I will upload some of my previous dives from time to time.

    Those are some cool looking fish and that ship had some stories to tell. ATB

      I wish I could spot more fish during the day but they're just easier to find at night.
      I wish I heard those stories first hand, too. There are several here in the harbor, all with stories of their own.

    That was a very interesting dive

      It was almost an hour long so you can imagine the challenge to reduce it to a reasonable length.

    Nice, any idea when it sunk?ish

    • @DonFassbender
      @DonFassbender  3 года назад +2

      Not exactly, Dan. There are many wrecks in the harbor and it wasn't uncommon for the owners to abandon ships after they're deemed to old to repair or if they're no longer profitable to maintain. This fishing boat was likely a derelict that was allowed to sink in place like some of the others in the harbor.
