I'm a little older and have not done things very well. With hindsight the advice I would give to my younger self ... start investing as young as possible and never put your wealth at risk of being taken away by a life partner.

I'd hate to tell ya young blood; I use to think just like that in my late 20's, gold and silver.
Watches hours of videos every night and luckily I'd read all comments while listening to gold investment videos and came across crypto. Also lucky I have the mind to learn, listen and learn something again. So 6 months on delving into crypto I stated buying. Ended up selling all my gold and silver.
That was 6 years ago and if I were to sell just the crypto I bought from selling gold/silver (mainly xrp, eth and later Solana, hbar, file) I'd be up close to an 18x. eg. $25,000 - $450,000. Which I did in 2021 then bought $100,000 of gold a few things and $200,000 back into crypto over 2 years which now is 7x on that.
Remember you live once, time cannot be bought. If you see or taught an opportunity with quicker/better results than the last, you take it and learn with both hands. Your young enough to fail but not old enough for slow investments

Stocks are good also. I dabble in and out of them. Just into crypto more now as the bull run is happening.

My only question is what is the button next to the gear shifter with the gear nob sign on it. 🤗👍🏴
Good question. That is rev match. So basically.. you know when you change down a gear and your going to fast and the revs fly up and the car will usually jolt horribly. Well that prevents that. So it matches your revs to speed for you incase you select wrong gear. It’s a pretty cool feature actually which makes it comfy to drive, hard or fast :)

@@CPMinvest oh!!! I see! Well I say safe too these three investments (Gold, Index Funds and Side Hustle) because Gold is historically safe. Year by year it increase’s and it’s not particularly volatile.
Index Funds (S&P) has had decades of growth through compound interest and price increases. Again, it’s not particularly volatile.
And Side Hustle is self personal growth, no risk to that. Only hard work is involved.
When I mean safe investments. For me, it requires consistency in price/value of that investment and continual growth based on past analytical data.
Smooth is fast, slow is safe. That’s I how invest. Hope this helps mate.

I recently downloaded the s&p500 app but I got freaked out and wary when signing up. it asked me to upload drivers licence or passport photo. Is that normal?
Completely normal, you will have to do that on any website for buying stocks and shares.

I’m still confused in a way on how investing in precious metals can improve wealth? I understand it is a very long term investment but for whatever reason you need to cash out on the investment you most likely will lose money due to selling in large quantities for scrap? Or am I totally wrong? I would like to invest but I’m more of a cash man and would rather have £500 in liquid cash than £500 in gold which may only make me a couple hundred over 5-10 years? Maybe I’m totally wrong and haven’t really looked into it and probably sound very uneducated which is correct but some clarification would be nice as I’m always wanting to improve my wealth and assets - Many thanks from Dan
Great question Dan. So I can see you have much to learn, but that’s great because my channel will help you.
Gold, first and foremost is a wealth preservation device, your cash de- values over time from inflation. The buying power gets less and less.
Gold however, averagely goes up roughly 9% every year, therefore not only increasing the value of your money but protecting it from inflation in the same breath. If you buy capital gains tax exempt pieces like Britannias or Sovereigns you won’t have to pay any tax when you sell all your gold aswell.
Golds only negative however is it doesn’t pay any interest or dividends and it’s a long term investment, I’d say minimum hold (10 years).

That is correct and I understand that thoroughly as buying power with cash does get less and less with inflation.
I appreciate the information as this has helped answer a few questions I had so thank you - the only thing I’m unsure on around investing in gold is how much is a good figure and what sort of routine is best for investing? Right now I’d be happy to do a £200 investment but it’s hard to know how? As in do I purchase as much as possible with the £200 or do I only invest a small amount each month? That’s what confuses me as do I just put all my money in gold or small amounts?
@@mozo9947 I understand, try not to let that bother you to much. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the next best time is today.
It’s better to have some gold rather than no gold. So whether you buy small or large both are good investments.
The bigger weight you buy however, the more you get for your money because they’re small premiums in larger weight.
However, I can afford big lumps of gold yet I still regularly buy 1G of gold every month. So there’s a perspective for you. Hope this helps.

As an experienced investor yourself and to somebody like me who is a new investor into gold and silver , what do you recommend I do to take my first steps into investing? Right now I’ve got a spare £200 which I’d usually withdraw into cash and save it for a rainy day but I would like to invest this as you’ve really persuaded me this is a good thing to do!
